The workers have an attitude problem. Came here at 8:50pm to order, the sign said it was open. When ordering the employees were very rude and stare me down while I look at the menu and then rush me to put in my order because they just want to leave. It was one white tall guy with long hair and one tall white girl. If you don't want customers at that time lock the door and don't turn on the "open" sign. read more

I'll start off by saying my family LOVES Jersey Mikes! We frequent several locations in the area. Today was not great. This location is usually hit or miss and today it was a miss again. The sandwiches were delicious because Cade honestly seemed happy to make them. He was smiley and kind. Great customer service was given by him! The other employees were unfortunately not so kind. The long haired man (AU?) was so rude in the way that he spoke to me. The female working wasn't so pleasant either. Cade seriously saved this visit. Employees really make or break the overall experience and this location has been pretty consistent with lack of great (or even good) customer service. Hoping it improves! read more

With so many options for sub sandwiches these days, it's hard to choose, but I feel like Jersey Mike's offers the best value. I think their prices are better than other chains, without sacrificing the flavor. I prefer them over Subway any day, for value and food quality. As we walked in wasn't greeted, when they got around to acknowledging that we were waiting asked us what we wated. I later found out they ask what kind of bread, but didn't ask myself or my partner. Food was fresh and ingredients were also fresh and full of flavor. Staff did put my vinegar and olive oil on the side like I asked. This location was clean along with the bathrooms. Tables and floors were clear, all staff were gloved up and uniforms were clean. More training needed for greetings and treating all customers like VIP's read more

I came here yesterday it was my first time ever coming to jersey mikes. I heard many good things about it so i decided to try it out with my sister. As i walked in i wasn't really greeted, when they saw me they just looked at me and told me what i want. But i was still new and didn't really know what to get. The guy that i answered my questions was somewhat nice. But the lady there seemed mad and seemed like she didn't wanna work. As i was gonna pay the screen said if i wanted to tip but i didn't because like i said i wasnt really greeted or anything. As soon as i press no tip the lady saw and started tapping her fingers on the counter like if she was annoyed and looked like she wanted me to get out. I only tip to people who are really kind with a smile on their face that seem excited to help me out. But those workers were not like that at all. If zero stars were an option they would get zero stars! I walked into the new location and saw 6 employees, 2 doing paperwork, 2 talking, 1 sweeping and 1 hustling to the back after I walked in, not one acknowledged me entering the door or asking if they can take my order. I waited close to a minute and a half before asking the group of them for their corporate office number. They then asked what I needed and if I wanted to order. Not a single customer was in there, I've been in the restaurant business for decades and have always acknowledged my customers as soon as possible. The owners of this location need to teach their employees customer service or his business will lose customers. read more

My work has been going to this jersey mikes for the past couple of weeks or so, and the employees have always been super nice and very good at what they do. But today was something I was just amazed with. While only staffed with three employees they were absolutely killing it. I mean the store is pretty small but with orders coming in fast with probably 10+ people in like and online orders. They took care of everything for not only me but the people behind me. Customer service is a hard job. But this people working at 12 in a Monday, were killing it. Love that Jersey Mike's opened here in Vista! The staff is great and I especially love the enthusiasm and support the manager gives to her employees. I am a communication professor and since I eat here on a regular basis (twice a week since it has opened) I have used my observations as examples in my organizational communication course. When I explain organizational culture and back it up with examples of making the sandwiches "Mike's Way" my students really get it. My favorite is the #13 Miles's Way with the cherry pepper relish...you have to ask for the relish so totally worth it!! read more

This is the first time I've ever experienced this. Today I walked into this Jersey Mikes and the service was good but what happened really just blew my mind, HONESTLY!! Before the young lady (leilani) put our bread on the cutting board she thought we didn't see but there was a hair on it she was scraping off and continued to put out bread on it without cleaning the board. As she's making our sandwiches the worker has a dripping nose and continues to make our food. I'm shocked at this point, get the food and leave. I threw the food away because I couldn't not believe what just happened and wasted my money. Not okay AT ALL and this makes me sad because I go there at least 6-8 times a month read more
