Bonus there cause alot of places get skimpy, they sure don't. The inclusion of mayo was different but not bad, It gave an added butteriness to the overall flavor which was nice. The meat itself was seasoned, maybe a little over salty at first, but again, this sandwich was one that really grows on you. The bread was soft, a little chewy but added to the texture to add another positive note. It was a sandwich so good, it was absolutely worth finishing. It's made me want to come back and try out a cold sandwich and even the Mexican food they have on the menu. I'm big on an Asada Burrito and they make one! There was an elderly gentleman who was down on his luck, who came inside. He asked two young girls who were dining for money just for drink (100 degree day). The young cashier didn't miss a beat and treated the man with kindness gave him the drink he ordered plus made him a large to-go water and then asked if he had eaten today. He said, "no". Then a short conversation started from the back and the owners fed the man. Me and my wife called the cashier over and told her we'll pay for his food but the owner kindly declined. Before we left we had a nice conversation with the owner and hopefully next time in town my wife can do some return business with a catering order. Not chewy. Not dry. Just a solid, well made sandwich. The chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. That is rare with chicken sandwiches. It was packed with flavor and balanced ingredients. Nothing felt skimpy. We do not eat sandwiches often. It is not something we go out of our way for. But for a sourdough sandwich, this was outstanding. Simple. Fresh. Done right.
