This is my husband's and my fave casual date night spot! We love to come sit at the bar and have drinks and quesadillas when we don't want to cook! I have reviewed their food a few times and the quesadillas are always yummy, but this review is about the bar. This is honestly one of the best restaurant bars in town. The cilantro crema is incredible, next time I would order two of those. Absolutely incredible quesadillas, and I love that it's super vegan friendly. We came in around 7:45pm, and they were nice to let us order even though they close at 8. I built my own vegan quesadilla which was insanely delicious. The rest of my family enjoyed their quesadillas as well, and the little one loved the plain cheese option. Everything that we ate was amazing! Great vegan options and great choices for kids. This place is now located in The Mix. Not being from the area, it was a bit hard to find and there's limited seating. But, the service was excellent and our food was so fresh and came out quickly. It's a nice plain quesadilla with chopped vegetables. My husbands favorite, he likes it's simplicity. 5/5 The salsas were all amazing. Because I love spicy things, I really loved the spicy chili Verde salsa and the habanero salsa. Others in my party loved the liquid gold. We also ordered the pico de gallo and avocado salsa. Fantastic flavorful food, quick service. Highly recommend requesting the corn tortillas- they look more like tacos and are amazingly delicious. Road trip food find!!! I have to admit to quite the excitement when we stumbled upon Quesadilla Gorilla driving through Three Rivers, CA. We were heading home to LA from a weekend camping trip in Sequoia/Kings Canyon. After a weekend of sandwiches and trail mix, a warm cheesy quesadilla sounded heavenly. Cute little set up with tables under eazy-ups right in front of the truck/stand. The staff was friendly and the wait wasn't too long. There was plenty of cheesy goodness in the "Where's the beef?" quesadilla we ordered. Kept us plenty full for the next couple hours of our drive home. This business has a store front and a "stand" at the Sequoia Park entrance as well. I visited the actual store in Downtown Visilia and really enjoyed their food a lot. How good can a quesadilla be? But it's good here. I tried their special which was a quesadilla with cool ranch Doritos in it and I really liked it. The Where's the Beef comes with grilled fajita veggies which was a nice touch to it. I liked that this place doesn't skimp on the cheese or meat. What really stands out about this place are their homemade salsas. Habanero salsa - For the spice lovers. It's spicy. Avocado salsa - So good. It's delicious and for guacamole lovers. Cilantro cream - Another one I love. Creamy and perfect for the quesadilla Roasted sour cream - More liquid-like than I anticipated. It was okay. Liquid gold - It was okay. Found this place on Yelp while i was working in the area. I was pleasantly surprised and i think it is well deserving of its almost 5 star status. Food: My coworker and I both did the "build your own". We were both very happy with our food. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and its made to order, it was served nice and hot. The two sides of salsa were also delicious - i got the classic mild and hot and they were both delicious. I felt like i was full after my quesadilla but naturally, we went for the dessert one as well. It was a Nutella quesadilla topped with powdered sugar and it was amazing. Shout out to the fact they also serve Mr. Pibb, my favorite soda. Service: The food came out quick and the guy at the front desk that took our orders was very nice. Really that's all you can ask for. Was a huge fan of this place, the quesadillas were delicious. I'm not sure if something changed during the move, management-wise, but I had previously never had an issue with the cooks accommodating my food allergy. This past time I ate here, like usual, I had stated that I had a gluten allergy and needed my food prepared with that in mind before placing my order. Everything looked normal, and tasted like it should, but I had a severe allergic reaction upon leaving the restaurant. I was terribly sick for 48 hours afterwards, which led me to believe that the exposure was beyond a slight cross-contamination. If ingredients had changed, or if allergies can no longer be accommodated for; it should state that on the menu clearly next to the 'gluten free' option(or the gluten free label should be removed altogether). I am beyond disappointed that such a great restaurant would degrade so quickly in their food handling practices, I will likely never return here again in fear of getting sick. read more

I ordered my 'Dilla' the Evan Boling and waited a bit for it. When I received it I was completely shocked how different it looked compared to the ones at their locations in Fresno and Visalia. It was flatter and no salsas or sauces to go with it. I asked and they were "out". "Wth you just got there" were my exact thoughts, but I didn't want to make a comment so on I went and walked to class. My Dilla- It was insulting to say the least, that in order to get that floppy flat mess into my mouth I had to fold it in half. All I tasted was flour tortilla and when I was lucky, a few pieces of chicken and jalapeño. For almost $10 I expected a whole lot more. I feel swindled. **Note to manager/owner: If you start to run out of something (meat/ingredients), please do not try and still sell the same item with less filling just to try to make a profit. When I went in, I actually had to ask someone where they were. It is unusual that the bar is staffed, but the food part has a closed look. Anyway, the server was friendly and walked me through how to order. I like their one-price menu whether you order something off the menu or "build your own." I have no comment on price. It $13 for what you get. The food was very good and a good portion. Nice sauces. My lack of 5-star is do have my usual complaint that fast food and fast casual (which this is) are showing "suggested tips" when you pay by card. What I really did not like is the start at 18%, and going over 20%. Of course, a person can pick No Tip or Select Their Own." The whole thing falls under "tip shaming." More appropriate is to range it from 10-12%. That is appropriate for fast casual. If I was paying cash, I would have put $1 in the tip jar (more like 8%.). Now, as a new customer, there is a 42% chance that I will go a second time. About the same for the third time. The third time odds are around 75%. So, I have to consider the food vs the tip shaming in my decision. read more
