I am unapologetically opposed to chain restaurants, preferring to support local eateries. I don't do fast food either, EXCEPT for Jersey Mike's. Their cheesesteak sandwiches are so tasty, so tender, so gooey with cheese, that the hub and I are willing to suspend our lofty ideals for them. The hub likes the original and I choose the chipotle version. Both have grilled peppers, onions, and white American cheese, but mine also has a divine chipotle mayo. Ordering online is so easy and the food is always ready as promised. And when I arrive for pickup, I call and ask, and a friendly employee runs the food out to the car for me. Carrying a purse and bag of food and walking up the incline using a cane is a touchy situation, so I really appreciate the extra service. These scrumptious subs are huge and we usually eat half for dinner and save the other half for tomorrow's lunch. They reheat beautifully, as good as freshly made. My guilty pleasure! read more

I love Jersey Mike's... I was literally going every other day for a bit, that's how much I love them. They remind me a lot of the local sandwich shop in town, Hogie House. Anytime I come in, they are pretty clean. Counters, tables and soda machine are kept up and looking nice. Only one thing about this location, they aren't always friendly. Sometimes it seems like we are bugging... I continue to go to this one because it's the closest one. Parking is a bit tight and strange. Shares a small parking area with two other businesses. There are two more locations near by- 22/Harrison and Tanque Verde/Kolb. Both great service. Friendly. Clean. read more

I ordered ahead online as a guest and was pleasantly surprised to have my Original Italian (#13) as ordered - with added pickles and banana peppers - within 10 min. The service was friendly too; they had a sandwich guy helping the in-house customers and a gal on the back counter carefully building the online orders. Another employee was greeting guests and running the register. I was really craving that Italian dressing and meat/cheese experience and I got it here. The bread was fresh and perfectly soaked up the juices without getting soggy due to the golden crust. Fresh veggies too. This was my first time trying Jersey Mike's. Some of my coworkers rave about this place so I was expecting a great experience.. I came thru on a Sunday afternoon. I immediately felt uneasy because as soon as I walked in I was greeted with awkward stares. I understand there could be employees that are tired, having a bad day or maybe on the spectrum but the stares were a bit too much. Anywho, I checked out their menu prior to arriving so I knew what I wanted. I ordered a chicken big kahuna cheesesteak. The only change to the sandwhich I asked for was no mushrooms and no jalapeños. I'm not the type to linger over the employees while they prepare so I walked away to check out their chips and beverages. The area seemed to be clean as there were no other customers in the store at this time. I waited about 10 mins for my sandwhich. I wasn't in a hurry. The employee brought the sandwich over to the register already wrapped up in their signature brown paper bag with Mike's logo. I also picked up a bottled soda and chocolate chip brownie. I went home and unwrapped my sandwhich with great hunger and anticipation. My eagerness was cut abruptly short when I see a big, gross mushroom on my sandwhich. Of course it had the 2 ingredients I asked them to omit. As you can see in my photos, I was trying to pick out the mushrooms and jalapeños but it was impossible to remove the taste of them. It's kinda stupid how Jersey Mike's can toast the bread only for hot sandwiches for instance a Philly cheese steak sandwich but not toast bread for a simple tuna sandwich. If you'd like to see a manager have a breakdown over not being able to find keys, close doors behind him and scream "FUCK" really loud. He's actually still screaming curse words in the parking lot because now he's outside as I'm writing this review. This manager is heavyset and has two identical star tattoos on the inside of his arms. I walked in around 5:30, on the day I'm posting this review and ordered a sandwich. The manager starts opening and slamming drawers behind the meal preparation space, and then starts complaining about not being able to find keys. This continues until I got my food just minutes ago. I've been eating at JM for many years. This is by far the best one I've ever eaten at. Great service from a young gal.

It was my first time to a jersey mikes, which I said out loud and since I was the only one in the store other than the employee I know for a fact he knew it was my first time...and I didn't know anything about them. So I ordered a classic Philly, (it smacked hard bro) but the employee just finished making the sandwich, and wrapped it up, no lettuce, or oregano was ever possible. Then when the guy walks over I ask if I'm supposed to order the lettuce and stuff when I order the sandwich. He told me yeah for hot subs. Because they only bring cold subs to the counter. After that I expected what everyone I think would expect, him asking if I wanted any of those toppings after inquiring about them, ....not this guy.....he just rings my total up and let me know it so could pay for the food....while this dude made a FIRE sub, that's where his customer skills stoped. Get home with the food, and I come to realize he made mine on the wrong bread. I had 2 subs on that order and he gave each sub the wrong bread. It should go to note, I ended up having whole wheat (I really don't like) when I was supposed to have the rosemary garlic, and I still ate the entire thing. Alex and Chris were awesome! My husband and I are both gluten-free due to celiac disease, and Alex did an amazing job making sure we didn't have any cross-contamination. I ordered here tonight on the app for pick up. I ordered two sandwiches, both on rosemary bread, but they didn't bother to inform me that when I went to pick it up that they were out of rosemary bread. And the girl on the phone when I called to ask about it was not very nice. I told her it would have been nice to know that they were out. I usually go to the location on Grant/Tanque Verde. This time I went to the one at 5720 E. Broadway -- It's closer to me. It was clean and the personnel couldn't have been nicer. One gentleman, the one making my Phili cheesesteak sandwich, introduced himself to me, as well as the other great folks who were working at the time. I ordered online and got a time that it would be ready by. I was waiting just over 5 minutes past that original time and when they gave me the order they also gave me 2 free sub cards and a free drink with an apology for going over that time, which I understood because the place was really busy. Just randomly came to this location while out and about. Ordered a number 13 in a bowl. If it weren't for Pat and Alyssa it would have just been a regular experience at a regular Jersey Mike's. But boy was I wrong! Both were very personable to talk to and went above and beyond with their service to me. It was greatly appreciated and very welcoming. My experience was so awful that I walked out in the middle of her making my sandwich. I go in and I'm told that the employee will be right with me. They were busy, I get it. One employee complains to another that she can't stand when customers are rude especially when they go out of their way to help them. It's unprofessional to complain on your job but what do I know. The employee who complained then crouched down to make a phone call.... then she disappeared to the back. Next, the only other employee working finally asked what sandwich I wanted. She went as far as preparing the cheese on the bread when she I guess got distracted and started doing someone else's order. Jersey Mike's use to be one of the better sandwich shops but they have fallen from grace. Very expensive sandwiches for the quality received. They cut their cheese soooooo incredibly thin you can barely taste it and very skimpy on the meats. If you are going to charge a premium price then deliver a premium product. We went to this location 4 times in hopes for better quality but was disappointed each time. Gave two stars as the bread is a good quality. That's the only positive comment I can provide. read more

I want to recognize the crew members who made our subs yesterday 11/23/21 the order before this one was not correct and the only thing they got correct on my sub was the meat and gluten free bread. To make a long story short I reported the mistake to uber eats and of course they refunded my sub and all fees. I have ordered from this location quite a few times and was a little surprised my order was incorrect to begin with, anyway uber took care of it. Now the shout out to the excellent crew that prepared my order yesterday! I ordered the same subs I did the time before, a regular size turkey, provolone, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo on gluten free bread, and a roast beef, provolone, extra meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, spices and oil on wheat bread. The order was delivered on time and the drop off perfect. I get the bag with the subs and thought wow this is heavy for 2 regular size subs! I don't know if it was a mistake but I really do not believe it was! I open the bag with the subs and there was one regular sub and one giant sub. Crap I think to myself they gave me the wrong order! No this fantastic crew seems to have made up for the incorrect order the time before!!!! They gave me a Giant turkey and provolone and the regular roast beef and provolone was just packed with meat, cheese and all the goodies that go on it! My man was thrilled lmao! And my sub was just delicious and perfect. What great customer service and one hell of a way to make up for the last order!!! Very incompetent employees and manager, after THREE attempts at making 4 sandwiches and wasting a half hour I finally decided to leave. I've never had any problems with any other Jersey Mike's location so it comes down to incompetent managerial staff not training their staff properly. My experience to Jersey mikes was during a mid-week lunch rush during the pandemic. There was a lot of customers in the store which was fine because they had social distancing signs, plexi glass barriers, sign on the door that said mask required and I noticed other precautions like all employees were wearing gloves (which they might have always done). Or so I thought until one customer was served while not wearing a mask... the customer walked passed at least 6 customers while not wearing a mask. There was at least 4 people working at this time and not a single one of them said anything to the customer about not wearing a mask. No one asked this customer if they had a mask to wear. No one even commented on it. I was standing right there and I was listening so I would have heard. They have the right to refuse service so why didn't they refuse to serve this customer? Why even have a sign up that says mask required when you don't enforce it? At my job 9/10 we resolve this issue by asking "hey, do you have a mask to wear?" "Oh yeah it's in my car I'll go grab it." Done. People forget. But an employee at jersey mike should be able to enforce the rules they advertise everytime. When enforcing said rules it sends a message that you take the pandemic seriously. It sends the message that you follow other mandated health guidelines. It sends the message that Jersey Mike's is a safe place to go.. unfortunately because of this experience I do not think Jersey Mike's is a safe place to go. read more
