I frequent this jersey mikes often for lunch and have always had a great experience. The staff is nice and welcoming, they work fast when they're busy I've never had to wait long for my food. It's always clean and well kept. The general manager is so nice! I mentioned a chips option wasn't available in their app but they had it at the store so I planned on buying it and he was so kind to not charge me for this time. Jersey Mike's Subs was our next stop, as we eat our way down Main Street in Saint Charles, Illinois. The atmosphere was great inside, friendly, cheerful with smiling workers behind the counter, moving quickly to accommodate the patrons waiting to order. It was surprising to see, unlike other fast food sub shops, they actually had a deli case stocked with meat and cheeses for the customers to observe. The dining area was well-maintained and clean. We we ordered a plant base Cheesesteak made with a Portobello Mushroom on Parmesan Cheese Bread, two Club Subs- one on Italian Bread and the other on Parmesan Cheese Bread, and a Roast Beef and Provolone Sub with hot sauce and peppers added. The Meats, Cheeses, and Breads tasted fresh and delicious. The Portabella Cheesesteak needed some additional seasoning or peppers, it was a little bland. If I were to order it again, I would definitely dress it up. Overall, a great place to stop in for a sub sandwich. read more

I've worked at 6 Jersey Mike's locations in my life and co managed and managed locations of my own. Also ate at nearly every location within northern Illinois. This is by far the cleanest, well ran, and "correct" location I've ever been to. Whoever manages this store deserves a medal. Disappointed today. This is usually my favorite Jersey Mike's. Today not so much. Order a # 7 &8. I received 2 number 7's. No ham on either one. Also when I order extra bacon on my regular size #8 sandwich I expect to have more than 2 pieces. If I'm paying 1.20 for extra bacon and only getting 1 piece... I don't think so. Awful: I could not order what I wanted because the turned off the grills 20 minutes before closing time, I get if they did 5 minutes even 10 but 20 minutes. the only reason I came to get the order is because I got a sandwich earlier and it was made incorrectly with the stuff I asked to not be on there and I had not checked until I got home. I absolutely love going to Jersey Mike's. Tonight's experience, however, was incredibly disappointing from a customer service perspective. I would prefer not to leave this review, but I've had similar experiences from this specific store and my family and I are over it. "Kevin" rolled his eyes immediately upon taking my order for 2 hot subs. He then proceeded to discuss with another employee how much he didn't want to make my hot sub order. Once everything was made, the subs were bagged and then the bag was slid across the counter toward me, with no regard for the sandwiches that were just made. Thank you to the cashier for being the most friendly person there. Totally understand that the employees probably had a long day and had about an hour left of their shift, but this was not acceptable. I'll go to South Elgin from now on. read more

Stopped in at Jersey Mike's for the first time and I think I just inhaled about 10 feet of sandwich. Before I die of bread poisoning, I leave you with this review: I was still in line ordering my lunch when I thought to myself, "Yeah, I am totally reviewing this place on Yelp." I have no idea of the staff members' names at work right now (sorry) but they are ON TOP of their sandwich game. They were cheery, fast, friendly, and somehow just made ordering a quick sub to shove in my face (because I can't be bothered to make my own lunch) a really entertaining experience. The parking lot is spaced out a little weird, which I guess they can't help, but there was still plenty of room to park during the lunch rush. I got the veggie, dad went with turkey, and mom was ordered a tuna. We all talked about how surprisingly great and fresh they were. My brother and sister also go to this location often and have never had a bad experience here. That's 5/5 at our house full of picky eaters. Thanks, Jersey Mike's! Complete disappointment, I ordered an Italian with double meat and double cheese Mikes way. First off, there was not double cheese, there was one layer of provolone...second, if I pay for double meat, I expect the exact same meat as on a normal sandwich times two. Did I get that? Jersey Mike's is better Jimmy John's. Yea, I said it. Bread and ingredients quality are better, but I get the option of a hot sub if I want it. Staff is always friendly to me, ask me how my day's been most of the time, talk sports while I wait. Loyalty program is pretty good too. Basically get a free sub every 10th sub or so. read more

I also ordered a supreme club and my roast beef was so fatty and smelled rotten, my bread was too hard to even bite into they must have been trying to use up Sundays bread on a Monday. I eat at this location pretty often because of the location and convenience factor. The one major complaint that I have is that their sandwiches are rarely up to the "normal" Jersey Mike's standard. They are delicious with the exception that they often do not have enough meat on them. I find myself opting for the #13 rather than a turkey sandwich simply because it is difficult to skimp on the meat when there are 4 or 5 different kinds. I find this as a pretty big issue considering that Jersey Mike's selling point is typically the amount of meat that is on their sandwiches. People will typically pay for Jersey Mike's with the understanding that your going to get a ton of meat. This place does not live up to the name. This is most likely a training issue, as the one day that the owner was there making sandwiches, this was NOT an issue. With that said, the staff is very friendly, and will put up with all the variations that I want. Also, Despite the obvious issue, I continue to return. Do I recommend this location? Meh. I love the sandwiches this place makes....most of the time. Having been here on opening day everything was as good as it gets. Over time things have let us say gone some what off coarse. The biggest problem is the extreme turn over in help. Every time you go there it's new people. And many times these new people don't know what they're doing. All I can say to assure you get what you want is to baby sit the people who make your sandwich. If they screw it up have them remake it. Our last sandwich wasn't up to their normal standards and my wife didn't want to get the new guy in trouble. So we ate sandwiches we really didn't care for. And a note to the owners, train your people correctly and pay them enough to keep from having this big turnover. Or back to Potbelly's I go.... read more

I was excited to hear that a new sub shop had opened in the area because I can't stand Subway (two bouts of food poisoning will do that to a person). I got the #18 Chicken Parm. My sandwich was hot, which is a good thing. They slice the deli meats right in front of you (my boyfriend got the #8 Club Sub). It was busy, noisy, and the seating was limited. They gave me a ticket number that they never even called off, so it was a bit confusing in there (even to the guys making the sandwiches). Overall, the sandwich (which was a decent size) could have used more moz. cheese and tomato sauce, but it was decent. A bit expensive, though. Nothing too special for the price they charged. Definitely a better alternative to Subway. read more

My husband and I both love Jersey Mike's. We've been to 2 different locations in the area and I have been very impressed with them. I have very high expectations for customer service and they have never failed to meet my expectations. They have been warm and friendly every time. They are efficient and the sandwiches are not sloppy. I love that I can watch them slice the meat right there. And the sandwiches are great too! I come here somewhat often (maybe a few times per month) and I really like the sandwiches. But the staff just has no sense of urgency. If you get in there and someone pulls out a list forget about it. They do one sandwich at a time at a snails pace. Quality has to be right, but all the idle chat between the employees while they lazily accomplish the task is off putting. I've walked out at least half a dozen times. Called in my order- told them what coupon I wanted to use and yes it was expired- but the manager said no problem- I got in and it was a problem-- so the customer service and treatment was an issue and I contacted the owner. He responded on the spot, apologized and it was clearly evident that he appreciates the customer. I'll admit it- there's not a sub place anywhere that tastes like the old deli's that made your sub on the spot like JM's- but everything everywhere has gone from $5 for a meal to $10- so it's great to know that JErsey Mikes appreciates your business and offers discounts--most places don't. This is a great sandwich! They have a good variety to satisfy all tastes. The staff is friendly, too. The service takes a short wait but the meat is cut for each individual sandwich. At least the meat has flavor, unlike Subway. The only complaint is they always as "do you want the bacon?" When my sandwich comes with it according to the menu board. I'm torn between 3 different ratings on this place. My wife like's their subs so I've been a few times by default after not talking her into to another option. The first couple times I had cold subs and did not enjoy them, for the money 1 star stuff. But over the weekend had the Chipoltle Cheese Steak and 5 star sandwich but 3 star for the price.
