The kids loved watching the slicer too as they slice up meats and cheeses in front of you! Updated rating when we got home because there was no avocado in our Cali club!!! Nothing special about this Jersey Mike's. There were no menu pictures when I looked on Yelp, so I took the liberty to take them myself. I came in here only because I had the BOGO coupon. I ordered the #56 big kahuna cheese steak and the portabella cheesesteak with beef. They were decent. The service at the counter was pretty good and they were very helpful in helping me out since I never go here. There was nobody else in the place except for me on a Tuesday at 4pm, so not much I can say about the ambiance. read more

We ordered two giant sandwiches on white and my husband got 3 minis instead of one giant, the breads hard as asphalt, the second giant sandwich was on wheat instead of white - shouldn't there be a way to contact the customer if there will be changes? We would have cancelled and went to the Mission Gorge store where we never have trouble. The meat and filling on the minis were sparse. The Philly was congealed and we live about 2 miles away. Both times walking in, I was greeted by the employees. They were all friendly and never rushed me. The second I went in though, the lettuce was pretty old, and you can tell by the discoloration. However upon asking for extra onions, the wonderful older lady kindly obliged and I was pleased with her service. I was in the Murphy Canyon area and needed a quick lunch break, so I stopped in to have Jersey Mike's for a light quick lunch on the go. It is conveniently located in a shopping center with plenty of food areas close by, which also had ample parking. I went in just when it hit lunch time on a weekday, and it was fairly crowded, but the line moved really quickly, and guest were in and out in no time with their subs. They have a nice menu to choose from when it comes to subs. You can either get a hot sub such as a beef or chicken Philly cheese or a cold sub. Today, I went ahead and got a cold sub, which was the #7 that had turkey and cheese on white bread. They slice meat and cheese on the meat slicer when you place your order and go ahead and make your sandwich. I went ahead and got it Mike's Way, which was nicely thin shredded iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, and olive oil with red wine vinegar and spices. I also got some mayonnaise and pickles to top of the masterpiece. I added a soft drink and a bag of chips to the order as well. The sandwich was delicious and tasty while the bread gave a nice snap back when biting through. The turkey was freshly thinly sliced and was so moist and packed on the bread. I enjoyed all the vegetables in it as well as the tangy red wine vinegar and olive oil. I found myself scraping the shredded lettuce scraps on the paper with my chips to ensure nothing gets wasted on the beautiful sandwich. I probably devoured the regular sub in under 5 minutes it was that good. Customer service was on point and delivered top-notch service with a smile and was very polite and helpful. The prices for a quick lunch sandwich were a little too steep for me, but other than that, I very much enjoyed it. read more

I used to use this location for small catering and bringing in lunches for meetings. They used to have phenomenal service. Unfortunately, their weekend staff is a bunch of rude, lazy, entitled teenagers who have zero social or customer service skills. Jeanna the lead needs to get another job where she doesn't have to interact with humans. I walked in today and stood there for nearjy 10 minutes without so much as acknowledgment. There was one person in the line ahead of me and that person finished ordering. There were no less than 5 employees gathered around the counter not much of anything. Then 3 of them took turns cleaning while the other two just stood there. No communication or even acknowledgment that I was standing there in front of them. Finally asked if they were open it was 12:00 pm and they said yes. I asked why they didn't acknowledge me but they mumbled something about an allergy- so evidently the person before me has an allergy to an ingredient. The point is the didn't say hello - communicate what they were doing and how long it would be. They just ignored me. I told them they need to get their act together and communicate and left. I called back later to speak to a manager and when asked to speak to a manager Jeanna mumbled something and I repeated my question- after which she said they weren't available me and hung up on me. Not sure what's going on at this location but it's hardly the Jersey Mike's Way. I know good help is hard to come by but Jeanna and this staff needs to go. You've lost a catering customer. read more

I used to go to the Grossmont Jackson store (near my office), but their staff has become extremely lazy and very condescending. They were forgetting items on the order EVERY TIME I ordered for my family of five. They missed toppings, juices, meats -- it was always something. The staff at Jackson was overly chatty and screwing around while working and could not assemble a sandwich. They simply have a culture of bad service. We always order large sandwiches for leftovers the next day. I finally stopped going and have tried the Murphy Canyon store the last four times. I order ahead of time and give them a pick-up time. Each time, the order was not made when I walked in. Last night, they really tested my patience. I walked in, three minutes after my requested pick-up time, my sandwiches were not made and the young lady behind the counter was shredding heads of lettuce because the team ahead of her left her without lettuce. That's what she told me. So, if I were to believe her, they decided not to make sandwiches, run out of lettuce, then make lettuce instead of jumping on the large order I placed. Bye. read more

There's nothing better than a good ol' sandwich. I love this sandwich food chain and the various options from the cold sandwich's to the hot sandwich's! I've never had a bad experience at any of the Jersey Mike's and even this one is great! The parking is pretty decent considering the time you come. I usually recommend coming after the lunch rush, so you can take your time and not worry about the traffic. Once walking into the business you already get the aroma of the fresh bread and hot subs. The menu is pretty straight forward and mostly every sub tastes great! I would definitely also recommend Mikes Way! Olive oil, vinegar, onions, lettuce, mayo, bacon, salt, pepper, and oregano. The line gets to 6 people, one employee just standing at the register, one employee enjoying his lunch at a table, other employees working on phone/app orders, a couple of others seemingly confused by a large walkup order. I especially like this location because they offer daily specials which I have not seen at other jersey mike locations. Their daily specials are extraordinary deals. The parking is average, at times it can be hard to find a spot. This location is exceptionally clean inside and outside. The staff is incredibly customer service oriented. The subs are a little overpriced especially since there bread to meat ratio is 3:1. 1 being no meat. The bread was very soft and freshly baked.
