Potato Wedges, original chicken wings & a spicy drumstick
    Andrea J.

I went here after work for some chicken and tried both the original and spicy. I must say, I liked the original better. I got the mixed chicken, which included two wings and a drumstick, along with potato wedges. The prices are reasonable, the service was fast and friendly, and there's plenty of seating in the food court. My only complaint is the size of the wings--they were a little too big for my liking.

I got the Mac n cheese and the fried chicken wings. I waited about 10 min for them to prepare the food but it was piping hot and everything was very tasty. The wings were full of flavor as they add peppers and onions and other seasonings. Great spot to order food to go if you don't feel like cooking after shopping at 99 Ranch, lol.

    3 Piece Cluckin Chicken Combo

This place is located in the food court inside 99 Ranch in Balboa Ave. They have tables to sit in. I ordered the 3 piece chicken combo meal. Salt & pepper flavor. Also, ordered the spicy mac & cheese. Chicken was pretty crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The mac & cheese was also very good

Counter service with automatic tip of 8% added. Food is great. Service is mediocre. Young lady at the counter not too attentive. Grandma is nice.

We went to shop at new 99 Ranch. It was late, so we decided to buy dinner here and brought back home. I pre-ordered the food from Hungry Panda because they have some promotion there, the price is better than order directly on the counter. I had some fried chicken, some buffalo chicken plus biscuits. They made all of these things from scratch so they were so fresh and warm when I got them. Although it takes 20 minutes took the takeout back home, they were still very fresh, the fried chicken was still crispy outside. Inside parts were juicy and tender. The butter biscuit was very buttery and tasty. I think the experience was better than I expected, they make good chicken!

4.5 stars Technically I like the old recipe better before they re-branded, but I still like the current version better than the other fries chicken options out there. Updated signs and pricing, but also daily 20% off specials including everything on weekends. Monday I had 2 thigh/drum/biscuit for under $7, which is a great deal compared to all the other places with single entrees $11-16+. Located in the food court in Ranch 99, which is the less busy location with ample parking. Service 5/5 Fried chicken 4.5/5 Biscuit 5/5

It has been a while since I visited the food court inside then 99 Ranch Market on Balboa, so I was surprised to see that Krispy Krunchy Chicken is now called Cluck N Sip. Aside from the name change, everything else was still the same. They still have the same week day specials and the same excellent fried chicken! Taste and value, my family and I think they are the best in San Diego! Service is really quick and friendly. After you place your order, you can either take it to go or eat inside the food court. It's clean and very spacious.

This place is located inside of 99Ranch on Balboa. My little sister and I assumed that they would be serving Korean style wings, but we were still satisfied with our meal! The food is displayed in a heat lamp thing, but other fast food chicken spots do the same. The wings and potato wedges were still perfectly crunchy. They also had a pretty extensive sauce menu which is limited to 1 sauce per 3 pieces of chicken or an additional charge. What we got: - Buffalo wings: crunchy, vinegar-y, and juicy - Crunchy wings: crunchy, these were good with the sauces that they offered - Potato wedges: perfectly seasoned and crispy! - Mac and cheese: this one reminded us of the Mac and cheese that gets served at school, only a little better. I should have probably ordered the hot Mac and cheese -- maybe it would have been slightly more seasoned. I want to say that it was a family that was running the business together, and they were great! The food court and this spot were fairly empty when we were there, so we got our food really quickly and they were all really accommodating. There are plenty of seating too if you choose to dine there.

    Cajun Tenders Meal Deal

Rating: 7.5/10 Decent fried chicken at a relatively inexpensive price located in 99 Ranch. Came here today around 6PM after work to grab a bite before grocery shopping. Krispy Krunchy Chicken is located inside the food court of 99 Ranch along with a few other restaurants. There is a large dining area to have your food as well if you want to eat there. Ambiance is very casual and when I went, there were not that many people in the eating area. There was no line when I ordered, and the two workers who took and prepared my order were very kind to give me a cup of water and extra sauce even though they are charging for more sauce (free sauce for every 3 pieces of chicken). All the chicken here is pre-made and sit under heating lamps, which I why I docked off a few points in this rating since the chicken is not completely fresh and made to order. That being said, the chicken pieces are actually quite crunchy and moist for sitting out. 1) Cajun Tender Combo: 7/10. This combo is $8.99 (at the time of the writing this review) and comes with 4 large Cajun tenders, one honey biscuit, and sauce. The Cajun tenders were actually much bigger than I thought and very crispy. The meat wasn't overly dry but not overly juicy as well. It also did not taste like Cajun seasoning to me, but it had a very standard fried chicken taste. The biscuit was dry and flaky, but it contrasted well with the salty and crunchy chicken. I got BBQ sauce but they have an extensive list of sauces to choose from as well. Overall, I would come back if I wanted to grab a bite to eat before or after grocery shopping, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Service is friendly and quick, but the food is not fresh and made to order. I would recommend you try this out yourself to see if you like it as well!

This chicken's pretty good. Juicy, affordable, crispy. I would come back. cluck n sip

Not made fresh to order. Everything's pre-cooked/fried and displayed in the front and they just grab from there and reheat/refry to order. I thought it was mid.

Yes! They have the certificate at the front register

Does anyone know if this place is still opened? I visited last month and they were closed.

They are still open, but changed their name from Krispy Krunchy Chicken to Cluck n Sip.

    Are you open?

Called on 5/3 and 5/4 during normal open hours, no response. Doordash delivery page no longer works. It's likely closed for the time being.

We ordered that along with a side of onion rings for an additional $7.49 (or something like that). Ordering and paying through the app is a piece of cake. The app is very easy to use and so convenient. We ordered and our food was ready when we got there about 15-20 minutes later. We arrived and our food was packed and sitting on the to-go rack/shelf with our name on it. So far so good. We arrived home and I unbox the food... and I was disappointed because the order of onion rings looked more like a half order (or less) and the fries tasted kind of old. I mean I could be completely in the wrong here, but my family was like why is this order of rings so small? And when they found out how much I paid, they wanted to call. The wings were good though. We ordered Asian Zing, Lemon Pepper (rub), and Hot Buffalo. I didn't feel like it would be worth it to call and complain because I didn't want to go back or have them accuse us of eating the rings then complaining about the portions. There's a low chance I would order to from this Buffalo Wild Wings Go again. I'd probably order from the restaurant in Mission Valley. Here is how I rates the food... 4 / 5: Wings and 2.5 / 5: Fries and 2.5 / 5: Onion Rings = 3 / 5 for food. 3 / 5: Food 3 / 5: Service 4 / 5: Cleanliness 3 / 5: Overall I may give it another chance... we shall see.

I just tried Domino's Pizza wings this weekend, and they were WAY better than the wings here. I really expected a fantastic wing from a restaurant that specializes in wings, but I was very disappointed. Luckily, I got one order of wings for free with purchase, but I don't think I even want to eat the 1.5 order I have left. I ev3n added the bottled sauce I had at home to try and salvage them, but these wings were awful. The tater tots were 2 for 1, and they were great. With the discounts, I feel like it was a good value, but the wings were really inedible. I don't think I'll be back.

The wings came tossed in soy garlic and they were fantastic. Korean fried chicken just crisps differently and this place nailed it. Perfect crunch on the outside and juicy inside. Something about that style of fry just hits. For the bites we chose potstickers, and they actually let us toss them in one of the wing sauces which was such a cool way to try another flavor. We went with yangnyeom and it had a really nice kick. I love spicy food so that was a pleasant surprise. I ended up dipping my soy garlic wings into the extra yangnyeom sauce from the potstickers and wow... that combo was incredible. The wings also came with coleslaw which balanced out all the fried goodness perfectly. They even give you a bucket for your chicken bones, which is such a small but thoughtful touch that keeps the table clean. Our dish was Japchae, which was a great addition to round out the meal.
