Found this Jersey Mike's just off the freeway and decided to give it a try-- glad we did! Loved the freshness at this sandwich place, not so in love with the quality of the meats. Don't get me wrong, they were okay, sort of like I would use at home which made their sandwiches not as special. By far this place is better than Subway. It is very family friendly as well, offering "mini" subs which are great for kids or a snack (about 4" long). Jersey Mike's is a little pricey for what you get, but I enjoyed my lunch. ($5-$13) They slice the meat and cheese in front of you which is probably a pain in the butt for them, but adds to the novelty and is cool to watch if the line is long. I got a cold roast beef and provolone sandwich, and having not been before just got everything on it. It was good, but a bit bland for me. I got a regular size...about 8" and it was plenty for me. My bf got a giant sandwich, a turkey bacon club possibly (I held it in my picture) and he scarfed it down and loved it. He is a sandwich guy through and through and said that it was good (he hates Subway but loves Saverinos....) It got his stamp of approval, but he is not constantly looking for the tastebud revelations I am. He's the comfort food level consultant in many of my reviews. This location is very clean (they took out the trash and wiped down tables while we were there to keep it clean). The restroom was also clean, which is a plus....says a lot about how the kitchen probably is. It is courtyard adjacent with good seating outside and fountains which is great for kids or spending a nice springtime day picnic style without having to do any picnic work! Who doesn't love a good al fresco lunch in spring? We will return to try a couple of different style sandwiches (I'd like to try their Italian style subs and my bf would like to try one of their hot subs). Diverse enough menu to keep you interested and creative if you like to be. They run a solid, clean and courteous business here. This is the Jersey mike's we normally go to. Never had an issues. Store was clean but sandwich and customer service not the greatest. I always get the tuna mini and enjoy it. Last night the Tuna was extremely wet and had no flavor. It was actually dripping out of the bread. Usually it's also cut in half. Not so on this night. Staff seemed not to care about much. Could be their expression of friendliness may have been behind the masks, but body language was giving me the, " I really don't care vibe". Maybe it's a generational thing. I always get the turkey with bacon and I love it. The sizes of the subs are nice and you may think it's not enough but you won't end up eating it all. They have good specials and I love the rewards program. The only criticisms are that they don't seem to clean the tables very often and also they seem to stand around a lot with a lot of people in staff. I will continue to eat here. read more

Lunchtime. You know it and I know it... there's too many fast food places. They're everywhere. I always feel guilty when I do a drive through burger or burrito. I know it's not good for me and so I need another place to go for a healthier lunch on the go. Enter... Jersey Mike's. I can't stop thinking about these sandwiches. They're so simple, but so good. They stick to the basics and make sure that the ingredients are fresh and delicious. I usually go for the Italian Sub, but lately I've been venturing off into other sandwiches. A couple of them have crispy bacon that are awesome. There's lots of parking in the parking lot, but you may not be parking up close. I've been going to this Jersey Mikes for almost 7 years and have always been happy with the food and service...until recently. Lately this one location has gone downhill so I'm giving it 1 star. I just noticed that all the one-star reviews on yelp are very recent reviews - in the last 4 months. First off...the security person that drives around this complex in a golf cart walks around Jersey Mikes like she owns the place. Hanging out in the back - talking to the employees while they are working. Today I ordered my usual sandwich online. When I went to pick it up it was not made the way I asked. I asked for oil & vinegar, light spicy mustard, and pickles on the side. I did not get any oil & vinegar, pickles, or spicy mustard. I went back to the counter and was completely ignored for 3 - 4 minutes. Finally, I had to interrupt an employee named Paulette (my lunch is only 30 minutes). I told her that I asked for oil & vinegar and spicy mustard but it's not on the sandwich. She stated it had oil & vinegar (it most certainly DID NOT!!) and that they did not have spicy mustard (it is a choice you can pick when ordering online). Instead of telling me when I picked up my sandwich "sorry, we do not have spicy mustard" they just didn't put it on. So, I asked her for regular mustard. She drenched my sandwich with soooo much mustard and such a bad attitude that when she was done, I said, "excuse me for bothering you" and the customer standing behind me was shaking his head regarding her attitude. I took my sandwich - tried to eat it but ended up throwing it all away. I will not be returning to this place ever again. I had heard so much hype about this joint and with the restaurant being packed, I admit I was stoked to try it out and get out of the whole subway/quizno's type of places. Well this definitely leaves something to be desired. I got a basic turkey/provolone sub with everything but tomatoes. In the 10 minute drive to my house, the sub had become so soggy I could hardly stand to eat it. There was absolutely no flavor either. Even my dogs wouldn't eat the remainder of the sandwich. I would honestly rather go to subway/quiznos than to Jersey Mikes again if I want something tasty. I honestly wasted my once a week non-Paleo cheat meal here and I am bitter. On a plus side, the service was great. Too bad the subs are even more basic than a crummy bars left overs. read more

My first visit after hearing rave reviews from co-workers. I got the Big Kahuna and agree that the meat is good quality and fresh. I didn't care for the bread but only because I prefer a nice crusty bread over the very soft bread they use, but that's personal preference. The staff was very friendly and I got a free cookie when I mentioned it was my first time. Unfortunately they only had sugar cookies left and luckily they aren't running a cookie business because it was not good. I went in because they gave a gluten feee bread advertised. They would not make my sandwich in a mini size on that bread because they can't cut it like the other breads. I have fond memories of the best hoagies from New Jersey( that is the true name of sub sandwiches- 'hoagies' pronounced ho-g-ees with a hard g) Anyhow, this was awesome because when I walked in and the smell hit me, I was immediately taken back to my childhood and the best hoagies in the world from Bill and Irv's in Maguire AFB, NJ. They are no longer there :( . HOWEVER, Jersey Mike's has brought Bill and Irv's back to life! Food: I love it, but you have to remember this is not like Subway, if you don't know what "Mike's Way" is when choosing toppings, ask them, it may seem like you need mayo and all that but you really don't. I recommend the Veggie, Mike's Way, easy oil. Yum. My husband likes the Italian Special, and both versions of the Philly Cheese steak- (regular and Big Kahuna). He also tried the meatball which he said is extremely delicious but that he will only get it as a medium or small sized sandwich next time. Also very affordable, the sandwiches come in three sizes and the amount of cheese, meat, and toppings they give, you really get your money's worth. Also, they have different managers specials such as 2 giant sandwiches, four drinks, & four bags of chips for $24.99 (that is as of the date of this review, I cannot guarantee that this will always be the case) which will feed a family of four. Also for the gluten or carb conscious- they have subs in a tub, everything on a sub but in a container, no bread. And...they have Tastee Kakes. I did not want to reveal this because they are very hard to find and I didn't want to out my source, but, no one should be deprived of the Kakes. The manager had to step out to accommodate their store but the two young men there kept cool and handled our large order with precision. We caused a line lol but they made sure to keep the line flowing as fast as they could without stressing or making us feel rushed. The customer service and the sandwich was great, however the implementation of enforcing Covid-19 guidelines referring to customers distancing themselves while in the store was not enforced. Yes, there were markers on the tile floor, however were customers were ignoring them. As I filled my drinks, I had to move because another gentlemen wanted to fill his up at the same time. It seemed to me that there were too many adults in there at one time either ordering or picking up. Shortly after I left, I called the manager, she apologized and stated that customers ignore the markings especially during a busy hours and that there is nothing they can do. I told her that she needs to speak to the owner about this. Later I found out that I was not the only one who felt uncomfortable and unsafe in the restaurant, I guess this is a recurring problem and the owner and manager has known about the issue, but has obviously failed to do anything about it. Although I do like their sandwiches and want to support our local eating establishments, the safety of me and my family comes first. I ordered a sub online during the Covid-19 situation. I was about 15 minutes from the store and originally the ordering app on my phone said it would be ready in 15 minutes. However, once I'd paid for it, the app advised me it would be ready in 45 mins.??? Now to be fair to them, this was the weekend that their CEO advertised on television that 20% of the proceeds from this weekend (April 25-26, 2020) would go to the "Feed America" charity organization. I was willing to give them grace, that they'd be a bit busier. I arrived at the store donning my mask and gloves, ready to pick up the sandwich. I walked in to at least 12 people in line, while everyone had a mask, no one was social distancing. I backed into the furthest corner I could find, to wait it out. They had 3 people working. All of them at the speed of a 2 toed sloth. It was so painful to see this crew work. Each small detail in making the sandwich caused a 2-3 minute delay with confusion or conversation about whatever. As each customer before me stepped up to instruct the sandwich makers how to build their sub, they crowded the glass partition. I almost left at that point fearing someone's germs were going over onto the veggies waiting on the other side. But hey, I was into this already for $18 bucks and was determined to see it through. 25 minutes later, I was the last man standing in the store and told them that my order was online and they found my sandwich. I grabbed my 20oz. Soda and was outta there. Once in the car I unfolded the sub (which was wrapped up tighter that a mummy in the Egyptian tombs) and took my first bite. Stale bread, no mayonnaise (that I requested) no oil or vinegar and no oregano and spices (Mike's way). What a disappointment! For $18, I was just done. Jersey Mikes is usually my favorite sub. I'll probably give them another try sometime, somewhere, but it'll be awhile, I can promise you. One COVID19 recommendation. We have ordered many sandwiches before. They have always been delicious and filling. However, we we're extra disappointed with our last order. We ordered a large turkey and cheese the sub, and it was seriously missing meat and there was little flavor we have order smalller sandwiches that have twice the meat.
