I've only come here for lunch and the line is always long and extremely slow, none of the employees seem to care about providing efficient service. Some of them literally seem to think it's funny when customers wait a long time. The employees here are more concerned with preparing catering orders than helping customers who have been waiting in line for at least 15 to 20 minutes. The other reviews here pretty much say it all, there's a reason none of my coworkers come here for lunch, it is impossible to get in and out in of this place in less than 30 mins. So half an hour for a cold sandwich with crap all over it from the previous sandwiches that were being made? No thanks! I called and spoke with Esmeralda on Thursday (3/26) about a future order because of the 50%-off online orders. I noticed you cannot place orders far out--only for the next day. Esmeralda let me know to place the online order and then call to coordinate the actual future order date. I called today before placing the online order, and Esmeralda was not in. I asked the female employee who picked up about ordering the future order. She said she didn't know if she could do it but she can ask the shift supervisor. I asked to speak with the shift supervisor. I hear her in the distance talking with someone--then an audible click. Strange so I thought maybe we got disconnected. I tried to call back--several times, and now, they will not pick up my calls. The nurse that told me about the special let me know that the owner is very generous towards the hospital so I wanted to support the business in the current state of our state/country, but now, I'm not so sure if I should. The reason for the 1 star is the service and experience. They didn't make it right. We asked for mayo and no vinegar or oil, didn't get that. We asked for extra bacon on the side. She wrap it up and tighten it which broke it up inside. And she threw it on the counter towards my husband. They charged him for 2 sandwiches and the bacon. Then asked me for my money which my husband was going to pay for all 3. So that's 2 transactions on the card at 1 place. The attitude they gave us was not great. They were too busy gossiping about some guys that came into the store flirting with them. Spent $40 and customer service was crap! Hopefully maybe we'll try again and have a better experience. Came here for lunch since my friend recommended this place and it happened to be really close to where I was working that day. Since it was my first time coming I wanted their signature sub but it the cold weather made me picked one of their hot subs instead. I got in line to order but the workers were busy since they were doing a major order for one customer. I just waited along with another lady before the guy took our order. He just asked us what we wanted and we waited when they were doing other sandwiches. Suddenly the guy asked for my name even though he was already helping out another lady and I told him while he was asking more questions but I didn't know if he was addressing the lady or myself. The way he answered back was rude in my opinion. I ended up getting the chicken parm and I have to say it was really forgettable. It tasted really bland and I was quite disappointed from all the hype of heard from them. I had my order for dine in but they didn't even give me those trays you would normally get. The customers earlier were given trays for dine in while I and two other dine-in customers didn't even get one. Paying the $11 for something I felt like I could microwave myself wasn't worth it. I should of went for one of their cold subs since they're known for them but it's too late for regrets. Lastly, I went to the men's room to wash my hands and noticed the toilet was clogged. I love Jersey Mike's. But this experience was absolutely unacceptable. I would give this 0 stars if I could. I called in my order about 5 minutes before we arrived so that I could pick up my order and leave. What did the person say when I finished placing my order? "Your order will be ready in 15 minutes." Okay, 15 minutes, that's pretty long, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because maybe they're busy. I show up, and lo and behold, there's absolutely nobody in line. I ask for my order, and they say they haven't even started making it yet. At this point I'm already irritable, because why wouldn't you start making my order as soon as you get the call? What's even the point of calling ahead of time if you don't start making my sandwich before I get there? Okay, so I pay and wait for the sandwich to finish. Finally it's finished, and after I drive off I see that my order is missing LETTUCE AND TOMATOES. Never did I ask for no lettuce and tomatoes. I (used to) come here for lunch sometimes because I have a 30 minute lunch, it's near my job and they have an online ordering system so you can go right up to the counter and pick up your order. Today I went in to pick up an order at 12:08pm, which was my pickup time. I was told my sandwich wasn't done but was in the process of being made. I do not appreciate being lied to. I waited there for 12 minutes extra for an order that was supposed to be done when I got there. If I had the time to wait I would have stood in line instead of ordering ahead of time online. On top of that after I picked up my sandwich and left I discovered that it was incorrectly made. Pickles and extra mayo slathered on that I didn't ask for. As somebody trying to watch their weight it's hugely frustrating to see a boatload of extra calories you didn't request smeared all over your food. However, the rolls had been sitting out on the counter between the meat cooler and the slicer and they got dried out and nasty. These should always be kept fresh and SOFT in a plastic bag until time of sub construction. This is a bad issue at ALL the Jersey Mike's I have ever been to. My table I sat at was dirty, as were other booths and the floors around me. It appeared as though when the workers cleaned the tables, they just wiped the debris onto the floor. I'm not usually a sub person but this place is generally really good. I'm simple so I always get the number 7 which is a 99% fat free turkey sandwich with provolone cheese!! When I'm hungry but trying to eat on the leaner side this is a great pick! Only downside to this location is that it's very, very crowded. The staff is friendly and the line moves fairly quickly. If you have only a 30 minute lunch break this is not the spot for you. I'm not sure about the other locations if they are as busy as this one but usually the line is wrapped around into the dining area. So if you have a little extra time I would stop in and grab a sub. Very disappointed with my service. I ordered a sub through mobile order. I added extra meat to the sub and tipped. When I received my order, there was no extra meat added. I could not go back to the location because I had my kids in the car. I contacted their customer service and conveniently that manger made my sub and remembered putting the extra meat. We have stopped at this Jersey Mike's on our way to Palm Springs many times! There is always lots of parking and the location is easy to get to. The staff is awesome and are always happy to help each and every person that comes in. And, the Manager is terrific! He is often there and takes the time to say hello. Worst service I've ever experienced; I wish I could give zero stars. I waited patiently behind a customer whose order was incorrect. Once they were helped, the staff member looked at me and then walked away. Another staff person came and asked if I needed something. I shared that I was picking up an order that I placed two days ago. She asked the other woman (that previously walked away from the register) if my order was ready and then she began to prepare the sides of my order slower than molasses. Ten minutes later when my entire order was complete, she handed me my order, mumbled an underwhelming "thank you" and walked away. Unacceptable. I wonder if there's a change in ownership. The girl who was putting meat in my sandwich literally threw my sandwich to the next gal that the meat and cheese separated from the bread. It didn't get any better. I understand they were working evening of Halloween day but that's not an excuse to be crabby. I noticed that it wasn't just to me, but all the customers ahead of me. Jersey Mike's makes some good sandwiches, but they can only be made good when the employees are willing to....which doesn't seem to be often. On my last visit, I wanted to try a pastrami sandwich. As I approached the counter, I asked, "Is it possible to just get a pastrami sandwich, like, hot pastrami only, on regular bread?" To which the employee behind the counter confirmed that I could. As I waited for the pastrami to be cooked, I noticed she started tossing sauerkraut in with the pastrami and started spreading Russian dressing over the bread. I caught the attention of another employee, working the cash register, and asked her if that was my sandwich the other employee was making (pointing over to her). I informed the cashier that I had told the other employee I just wanted hot pastrami, not a Ruben sandwich. The employee at the register called out to the other, "He doesn't want a Ruben; just pastrami". The other employee huffed and immediately took the sandwich off the grill, wrapped it and placed it to the side. She then approached me and said, "So what DO you want?" Whoa. Anyway, I politely apologized for the mix-up (even though I had no fault in the matter), and asked her for a hot pastrami sandwich, which I eventually received with what I perceived to be a big attitude. Hubs and I wasn't really hungry so we were at nubi yogurt, and while we were sitting in the fountain area (highly recommended date option btw!), we looked up and saw jersey mikes sub. Hubs started craving a sub so we walked into jersey mikes. The workers there are so nice! They didn't gave us dirty looks when we took an extra few seconds to decide what we wanted. And, they even gave us a cookie! We ended up getting the club sub, which was so delicious and fresh. The meat, the cheese were all sliced right in front of you. The choices offered were somewhat limited. My husband gave me the evil eye when the bill was over $28 for the two of us. Long story short... the tuna salad consisted of tuna mixed with mayo. No seasoning, nothing crunchy. The roast beef was also unseasoned, dry and flavorless. We should have gone to Subway.
