Went there on a Wednesday evening about 5:45. Just two employees working there but they had it going on, and were in charge. I ordered an Italian Original and a Mike's Philly. The young woman who took my order and made my sub was very sweet, polite and generous with the toppings. The dude who made my cheesesteak hooked me up with a hot, phat cheesesteak. The reviews by people who deem the employees rude and disrespectful are simply clueless and off in their own little world. The place was wiped down, clean and accommodating. The employees working there stole the show. I will be back to try a different menu item next month. Can't wait. Great restaurant. read more

The service is the worse!! I walked out after waiting (with one other customer in the store) about 10 minutes of standing there and not even getting acknowledged. The phone rings and it is answered and the order was taken but still it's like I'm not there and he turns around and walk's away so I left. I've been a huge fan of Jersey Mike's for the past 35 years. Learned about them when I was back East. When they came out to Washington State, a few decades ago in King County, I was ecstatic. Now that they've brought Jersey Mike's locally to Kitsap County, and especially Poulsbo, it's been pretty awesome. Jersey Mike's is my favorite sub sandwich shop, and I have known dozens of sub shops over the years. I love the freshness of all the ingredients from the bread, to the meats, to all of the condiments and vegetables and such. Their list of items for your sandwiches is small and very basic as compared to other popular sub shops. However, Jersey Mike, even with such few options to add to your sandwich, tastes a 1000 times better. I've had really great experience getting consistently good food from the restaurant. The two times when they messed up they were minor errors in that they didn't put the oil and vinegar on at my sandwich or something small like that. When I called up and talk to the manager they went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied. In this day and age when customer care is not what it ought to be everywhere, it's just nice to know that you can go to a place and get good food and when it's not right that they take the best care of you. I highly recommend Jersey Mike's. I always have and I always will. The only thing about Jersey Mike's is that you can't really get the food in a salad bowl and have it taste good. It is a sandwich joint 100%. I mean you can get a salad but it just doesn't work in salad form. I've been a regular customer to this store since they opened. Normally, I would have given a 4 star review, but today, I was greeted by a young lady with tattoos that I felt was very disrespectful. She kept saying out loud, " Jesus Crist , don't you people know that it's only 10 o'clock." If she wasn't ready to serve the public, she should have left the open sign off. She should also keep her rude comments to herself or find a different job that she's better at. read more

The original Italian Sub, Mikes style!! Yes! My hubby and I were driving to the ferry and were excited to see a Jersey Mikes chain, I believe is a new here! We used to eat there when out east. I love subs and having to give up another sub shop chain, I won't name, due to their owner shoots endangered animals. I really missed having subs and don't see many Jersey Mikes, so it's a treat! Jersey Mikes has quality fresh thin sliced Italian meats; coppacola, salami, pepperoni, with cheese, lettuce, onions, pepperchinis. The lady who helped us was friendly and we joked about our love of Mikes Style, ya gotta have the extra sauces! (Just a oil and vinaigrette spiced dressing they splash on top but it's "everything" for this sandwich, puts it over the top, true east coast style. Mmm! The bread was nice and fresh with a slight chew and held together well even with my extra sauce order. Haha. We definitely will make this a reg stop when heading back to the ferry when in Poulsbo! I have always loved Jersey Mikes. Their subs are delicious!! I usually get the club but today I tried the Italian and it was sooo good. My new favorite! I love the Poulsbo location. They are super friendly and greet you when you walk in. I work close by so I have been several times and have always had a great experience. I am usually there around lunch time so they can be slammed but they are all working hard and are apologetic if there is any wait. Which is never really that long for a fresh sub. I would rather wait ten minutes for a sub then five minutes for a McDonald's burger. Go to Jersey Mike's!! It is the best!! read more

I found this by accident. Wanted to feed our movers as we just moved into our new home. Went to Safeway for the sandwich, chips and drinks run but they were short-staffed. I had seen Jersey Mike's Subs on the way to Safeway so I turned around and went back. The staff was prof, fun and happy to help. First time eating from this sub shop so didn't know what to expect. Everyone loved the subs! Husband and I have been back, a week later - and it wasn't a fluke! They make the best sandwiches. Don't bother with Subway or Safeway, these guys are great! read more

I will continue to go to this place, b/c I love subs and I love subs Mike's way. But OMG, this place is continually staffed with people who appear to be deliberately exaggerating poor, slow service. I understand it doesn't pay well, and I empathize as a long-time foodservice worker, but-- Worker: have a little pride in whatever you do, or you'll have extreme difficulty finding any joy in anything you do, and Manager: implement and coach some operations management. Making customers wait fifteen minutes for a sub from a fast food restaurant is not sustainable. This is why I order ahead, and I actually like the bread a little soggy from the O&V after sitting a bit so ordering ahead works great. And seriously, showing up an hour after ordering ahead, and finding out they forgot to make the order would be fine, but having to wait fifteen minutes for it at that point, and with only one other order ahead of mine (and already half-made) and STILL waiting fifteen minutes for a simple cold sub = not sustainable business model!! OMG - for a decent sandwich, and 4 try's. I give up. Came to get 4 sandwiches - 4x. First time I came in and ordered. Order to 23 minutes with only 2 people ahead. And they messed up on 2 of the 4 sandwiches. They supplied a few $2 off cards. Ok, so food was not exactly correct but was decent. Strike #1. But worthy of a 2nd try. 2 weeks later I thought let's call in the order this time. They said 10-15 min. Ok, so 20 min later I arrive and the new kid was like "who? What?" I always come to this jersey mikes and previous employees who worked there were super nice. Unfortunately this time the Employee with purple hair with glasses rolled her eyes when she couldn't hear me and was super rude. She asked how I wanted the sandwich and I told her exactly what I wanted and she nodded her head and said okay. But I noticed she was putting pickles instead of jalapeños. So I nicely asked her if she could put some jalapeños on the sandwich and she gave me a dirty look and then said what? I can't hear you but super rude And then I said it again and she looked down to put it on the sandwich and then rolled her eyes and her coworker saw her and he said yeah that's a problem with this store sometimes we can't hear and she like yeah. Just because you can't hear someone doesn't mean you can be rude and roll your eyes. Not sure if maybe she was also being rude because of the way I say jalapeños. They have the best vegetarian grilled mushroom, peppers and onions sandwich...really fantastic! Oh, and I can't say enough about the staff and the women who is the manager at the Poulsbo location. I was introduced to Jersey Mike's only 2 months ago and up until yesterday, I would have given it 4-5 stars. Sadly, today I will only give it 1 star. I went into the store sometime around 5pm last night. There was no one in front of me. However, on the counter, there was an employee who had 9 sandwich breads in front of him. The supervisor was out in the lobby area, joking with an employee who wasn't on the clock yet. The guy behind the counter started slicing the meat and cheeses for the first 5 of the subs and not once looked up and greeted me or the customer who had walked in behind me. The supervisor then went behind the counter and pulled out 3 more sandwich breads and started making those. So now BOTH employees are making subs to go and neither one has said anything to me. After 5 minutes of standing there without my order being taken, I sat down in a chair. Another customer came in and walked up to the counter and I told him that I was in line and still hadn't had my order taken, right in front of the two employees. The supervisor then told the off-the-clock employee to clock in early. I thought "Finally!" But nope, he clocked in and got busy in the back. A good 8 minutes later, I had finally had enough. I looked at the other customer, again right in front of the two employees, and warned that I was about to get my Bitch Karen on. STILL nothing from the employees! And yet again, right in front of the employees, I then called my sister who I was picking up food for and asked her if I could go somewhere else. And STILL not a word from the two employees to me or to the customer behind me. I left!!! Not once was I greeted or even acknowledged by the employees. A simple hello and we'll help you as soon as we finish this order, would have been appreciated and I would have had no problem. I don't care how many take out orders you have...when you totally ignore the customers who are standing right there, you're going to lose business. I usually go to Silverdale location. But since it was on my way home I went to Poulsbo location. It was filthy in there. Trash all over floor sandwich stations with crap everywhere. Only one other customer in there. I was watching them make my Philly and noticed they threw my cheese on the dirty door next to the grill which clearly had not been cleaned in a while. Finger prints all over it. I asked is that my cheese on that door? The guy who was slicing meat went over and removed it and threw it on counter next to sandwich station. Then grabbed it and put it in my sandwich. With Covid they are not very cautious let sling health board laws being followed. I get a sandwich at least once a week but thus turned my stomach. Went here for the first time today and had a great experience. I used the app which was super easy and my order was ready for pickup when I arrived. Both sandwiches were prepared perfectly and the three woman there were crazy busy but so friendly. I've never seen harder working people so kudos to them for keeping everything under control! Thor food is good however these employees could not get an order correct if there lives depended on it. Last 4 orders have had something missing. The excuse is always we are sorry it's been really busy. Keep it up and you won't have to worry about being too busy or even having a location in this community. Having been a semi-regular customer in Calif., and knowing the sandwiches there were great, when this location in Poulsbo opened, I had to try it. Have now been there 4 times, and have yet to be disappointed. Sandwiches are fresh with plenty of meat (not much of a veggie guy). Sad part is, not long after this location opened, the novel Coronavirus hit, and that took the "wind out of their sails". I hope they make it through. Went there yesterday service was terrible and super slow. Ordered online for pickup supposed to be ready by 1347 we hen I got there order had not been filled the order ticket was sitting on a counter in a pile of tickets that had been tossed aside. Took twenty minutes longer to get the order. I asked several times for the order and they told me they were working on it. When I got the order I was handed it without the chips and drink they were out of the lemon tea that was ordered. Then they put the cold drink on top of the hot food when I got my order the sandwich was cold and soggy had been smashed at the bottom of the bag lime it had been sitting around for a while it tasted terrible. I will not be going back to the location ever again. This is unacceptable service. Avoid this location. read more

I went a few days ago and all was well, I placed an online order and it was ready in a timely manner, and the food was good. However, I went today and that was not the case. I ordered online and received my estimated time that my food would be ready. My food wasn't ready until 25 minutes after that time. They only had about 5 people waiting for online orders. There were 4 people working, but they were moving extremely slow. Many of us were waiting around and none of them apologized. When people's orders were ready they whispered their name and did not place the food on the pick up table. A fellow customer repeated the names they called because they were talking so quietly. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked if they had an estimate on when my order would be ready, and they just pointed at some sandwiches and didn't say anything. When my food was finally ready she just handed me the bag with no apology. The food is good, but the wait time and service is not. read more
