At Jersey Mike's you get a meaty sub. I think they put more meat on it then just about any other sub place I've been to with one or two exceptions. The selection of vegetables is not as varied as other sub places, but they do have the basics. The pricing is the biggest difference. My go to spot for sandwiches. This one has a great crew that gets your sandwich out quick. Instead of my regular #7 I opted for a hot pastrami reuben. Really good! Loved the grill flavor of the pastrami and the dressing and kraut came together really good. I think the break lightly toasted would have been good. read more

I normally loved their subs. However, I do not advise anyone to support this business. I had my subs ordered via Uber Eats and much to my dismay, both subs were made incorrectly. I contacted the store and even spoke to management, they advised me that they can not do anything about it unless I return the subs. I said I ordered delivery because my car was down. I was advised to just keep them even if it is a month or more before I can bring them back. I said, so you want me to bring an old moldy sandwich back to your establishment. I'm all about the experience. Yes, even from a moderately priced chain. We went to the Jersey Mike's in Parkside. We were greeted upon arrival. We are pretty much regulars so we already knew what we wanted. When it was our turn, the wait was not long at all, we ordered. I always get a #13 regular done Mike's way. My husband always gets a turkey and provolone regular done Mike's way plus jalapenos. I had decided in advance that since I'm on weight watchers I would get the combo with baked chips and my husband could bring them home to accompany one of his future lunches. I also had decided to have unsweet tea instead of sweet tea. The restaurant was clean and the staff was courteous and friendly. This is one location we will return to. read more

Great food. Customer service is usually friendly. But they NEVER have rosemary parm bread. Ever. I go very often and they've had it I think once, maybe twice out of the like 20 times I've been. They always tell me they make it in the morning and run out by noon. So I guess they can't make more?? I go from times 5-8:30pm. So I've been at times they claimed to have more and they don't. This location specifically is not willing to accommodate food allergies. I have an autoimmune disease that causes severe allergies to gluten and eggs. They offer gluten-free bread, but unfortunately it contains egg. I called to inquire about me bringing in my own bread (store bought, sealed and unopened) to accommodate my allergies and they DECLINED, because they are unwilling to work with customers who have disabilities. They then offered to make me a salad with cold cuts, to which I declined, because I'm pregnant and cannot have cold cuts. Unfortunate that these stores are unwilling to accommodate and are okay losing customers because of it. We were looking for something fast but different one night before heading to the movies. We remembered that Jersey Mike's existed (a place neither of us had ever tried) and decided to give it a shot. We walked in and asked the girl behind the counter for a few minutes to look at the menu. She basically gave us an exasperated look and stared us down until we ordered. I picked the buffalo chicken and ordered it as a "tub" which she told me was the salad version. My Husband ordered a "monster" sandwich with Pastrami, Cheese and Sauerkraut. The girl that checked us out did not ask us what our order was, she just rang up the order and we paid. Then AFTER we paid She said..."Ohh. You ordered a Monster? I charged you for a regular". I was thinking at this point it was her mistake and we would get the upcharge for free. No. She had the audacity to ask my Husband for his debit card back. She then refunded the first sandwich charge (which has still not been credited back to our account!) and charged him a second charge for the "monster" sandwich. Which by the way, cost $13 freaking dollars. Just for a sandwich...no chips or anything. Insane. I was a little ticked off at this point, but still willing to give the place a shot. Then, our food arrived... I was basically expecting something along the lines of a Chipotle salad bowl. No. What I received was a handful of watery lettuce topped with a "chicken breast?' that was partially cubed (they did not cut it through), cheese and a tomato. The only thing that made this food edible was the Frank's Red Hot Buffalo sauce that was poured all over the "chicken" which was questionable at best. My Husband sandwich was better, but not by much. It was BLAND and had very little toppings. He choked it down and asked if we could not return. Yup, we are the suckers that paid $20+ for a crappy side salad and a long loaf of bread. I was born and raised in Point Pleasant NJ and as a child I often went to the original Jersey Mikes. Now that I live in FL, my son and I frequent the one in Park Place, it's always such a great nostalgic experience. We walked in at 11:30 am on a Sunday and the place was filthy. One employee was sweeping, but it literally looked like no one cleaned anything from the night before. All of the veggies in the cold bar looked like they had been sitting since the night before as well. My husband and I got a philly and a chicken philly plain, which is the only reason we stayed. No way I would have eaten any of those veggies. They get two stars (which is generous): 1 for friendliness of staff and one because we managed not to get food poisoning. I just want you to know that I am a big fan of Jersey Mike's. Except for this one store. It's dirty, one of the workers was touching her face and eyes. She's a cashier. But, she still handles the food. Not a good thing. When I ordered my food they had scrapped off the board but, they did not wipe it down. I am a very picky eater and like my stuff plane.
