I usually have a great experience at this store and get beautiful sandwiches. This last time was a different story. During the busy time, I suggest you hire another person because the lines are too long and people are waiting. Also, please tell the food handlers to change their gloves every time they handle anything other than food (bags, cash, etc.). The guy that was making my sandwich rang someone else up before finishing my sandwich, which is fine. I get they're busy, but he went back to my food and touched my sandwich without changing his gloves. He also put the wrong bread top on the wrong sandwich. We eat here frequently and have always enjoyed the food, but something happened yesterday which was very distressing. The area where the sandwiches are prepared, where the condiments are added can get quite dirty due to the oil and vinegar and whatever other liquids they use to season the sandwiches. They scrape the area between sandwiches, hopefully to clean it. The young man who was preparing our food did not clean the area and the bread was placed down on a big pile of oil and vinegar, which I certainly did not want on the outside or inside of the sandwich . I told the preparer about this and asked him to remake our sandwich. What I found extremely distressing was the fact that he took our oil and vinegar soaked roll and put it back in the area with other rolls so that it could be used again. That does not sound either healthy or ethical to me and I doubt whether we will be back here again . read more

I'm so tired of hearing how much these people get paid an hour for takeout, (20.00 hr). It's like the food and service isn't what it was. We always came to this location, done, no more. Went to this store after long day at the tennis garden. We were greeted with cheerful staffs and a great service. The food was good and the customer service by Jason and Kate was even better. As a Jersey girl who used to go the original Mike's in Point Pleasant, NJ, this location falls way short on Mike's Mission Statement which states: ***** "Exceed guest expectations by creating quality subs with fun, friendly service delivered by passionate employees." ***** The girl behind the counter was so rude! She acted as if I had just walked into her private office and was disturbing her. I chose to leave the lettuce off because it was brown and looked slimy. The topping choices were tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles & peppers...no cheese, no olives? The store was filthy ***** The worker tossed a few onions on my full size sub, leaving a big gap in the middle- she quickly covered up the space with tomatoes. When I asked her to please add more onions to the center, she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about several times before she tossed on a few tiny slivers. Tonight, before 8 pm, there was one guy making sandwiches and not able to keep up, while another guy was taking the chips away from the front and complaining that people were dirtying the floor, then disappeared while the other guy got overwhelmed with orders. First of all, if you close at 9pm, why are you mopping the floor (leaving it wet), and trying to close the place down at 7:50? Whoever the young guy is that was trying to close an hour early while leaving his coworker hanging, and complaining, needs some counseling, or maybe just let him go. Under no circumstance should you eat here if you have a gluten allergy.. I've not met a Jersey Mike's crew that has been so poorly trained on this allergy, but after watching the counter being wiped free of bits of bread and then watching that same rag used to wipe the slicer I knew my family would of gotten sick. We stopped by on Friday night and ordered three sandwiches. Our first sandwich was completed and the lady started to ring up our order. She stated that all the sandwiches should be completed before ringing us up but as long as we did not have extra items, she would do so. So I paid for the three sandwiches. She then proceeded to make multiple online order sandwiches. We waited over 20 minutes for our next two sandwiches to be made. When when we finally got our sandwiches, the top of of the bread was so saturated with oil, we threw the top of our sandwiches out. Just a horrible experience. read more

Sandwhich maker at the counter..stepped away several times to work at cash register check out. ..sandwich prep line comes to a streeching halt...and backing up. This While up to 15 plus people in line...Recommend you allow at least 30mins.for walk-ins to allow for line wait time, making your sandwich and check out during this time frame. The bread was stale and the employee forgot the oil and vinegar. I live close by so went to return it. The sandwich tasted like crap and I lost my apetite for Jersey Mikes. Now here is the issue. Mistakes happen. I make them, you make them, everyone makes them. Its what you do about it that matters. At this place employees are not empowered to proivide any on site returns or gift cards for future visits. Only a manager can do that. I was told she would be in tomorrow. So what this means is that non management employees can be entrusted to be at a store by themselves. Responsable for not only serving customers, but the health and safety of everyone in that store. Working with an industrial gas stove, an oven, a slicer , and knives. Responsable for following all health department guidelines. Responsable for a potential employee or customer injury or medical emergency. responsible with quality control. But they are not empowered to provide a return or a gift card? I called the manager the next day. twelve times. Twice with a guy who couldnt figure out how to use the phone and hung up. Once with a girl who put me on hold for eight minutes. and the rest of the calls went to voicemail. I finally had to drive over to get my refund. There was one customer there and five employees all just standing around. the manager was in the back and finally came out to take care of the situation. not going back unless I hear from someone letting me know that things have been fixed here. read more
