I found the menu unique, but also eclectic, but I appreciated that there's definitely something for everyone here. My group ordered the Chimichurri Asada Steak tacos (get them) and an order the "Funky Balls," which is essentially friend risotto balls filled with chorizo & cheese. These genuinely gave me an out of body experience, similar to the one Bo Burnham gave us all during COVID when he rereleased "All Eyes on Me." I placed the bag on the passenger seat, next to me. When I got home, I picked up the bag and placed my hand on the bottom of the bag, only to find it was wet! But I did not order a drink so why would it be wet? That's when I noticed there was grease on the seat, where the bag had been setting. When I got inside my house I took the food items out of the bag and took pictures. It looks like whoever filled my order, took the potato cakes directly out of the fryer and dumped them in the cardboard container they come in. They obviously weren't allowed to drain, out of the fryer. Even my receipt was covered in grease because I had to look up the phone number of the restaurant so I could call the manager and let him or her know what had happened. I told her I wanted to text the pictures to her so she could see for herself. After. my phone conversation, I went out to my car, to clean up the grease that was on my car seat. Thank goodness it was a leather seat. I didn't hear back about the pictures I sent, so I collected the grease covered items and drove back to Arby's and presented them to the manager. She said she had just got done running a batch of potatoes thru the deep fryer and it was working just fine for her. She gave me a coupon for a free sandwich but I don't think I will be back!

Wow. I rarely feel inclined to diss a place having worked many years in the food service sector…read more But this was surprisingly poor. First a long wait at the drive thru order station while listening to everything going on inside as the order taker left their mic open while I was waiting. Only one car ahead of me yet I still had to wait for standard Rally Burger which turned out to be stone cold when I ate it just a one minute drive away. I had a couple bites and threw it away. More disturbing and the reason I didn't return for a replacement was the unsanitary food handling. The cashier came to the window with plastic food handler gloves on which she didn't even remove to handle my money and make my change and then she just turned around and went back to food handling without changing the gloves she just handled money with. SMH. I doubt I will return to this one.

There used to be quite a few but over the years they have dwindled down. Sad but true. There used to be a chicken house called Terrace Garden beside Hopocans chicken house, it was tore down many years ago. Belgrade Gardens is another that has been here for many years and is in my opinion the best Chicken house in Barberton . So let me give the Village Inn some constructive criticism . One thing they did was to do away with the dark rye bread and replaced it with wheat. The rye bread was always given clear back to the 1950's why they decided to mess with tradition is beyond me. The hot rice is overcooked to mush and is not very good. The chicken seems to not have the same taste not sure if they are still using lard or changed that also. Some things that made a restaurant an icon you just don't mess with. Let me say the food is not that bad but could use some improvement. Hopefully they will see this review and take steps to correct their path they are on before it causes them financial hardship. I do not want this place to close I want them to do good and keep a tradition and history of Barberton alive.

I'll just list out the numerous issues: 1) Most of the managers do not run their shifts properly and customers suffer because of it. Food is given barely warm, drive thru line is clogged, and wait times are long inside and at the drive thru. 2) Employees are poorly trained. 3) Food is delivered barely warm and orders are often incorrect. 4) Employee are RUDE. 5) Employees literally have no idea how to read the screen with your online order and code on it. 6) The inside is almost always dirty, including the bathroom and kitchen area. Garbage on the floor. I rarely see anyone mopping. 7) If you order fries, 90% of the time they will not be fresh fries but ones that sat under a lamp for a while and will barely be warm. 8) Customers drive through the parking lot in a dangerous manner. I've seen near collisions multiple times and just careless disregard by drivers. I haven't seen this at any other McDonald's. This McDonald's is a disgrace. Numerous issues and terrible customer service. McDonald's corp should shut it down permanently, the building should be razed, then a KFC should be put there. So yall are handing out food that was already in someone else's hand, bag, home? Wow. Ordered pizza here tonight both "a little bit crispy". One…read morewas good the other burnt. So I called up the place and they had such a bad attitude about it over the phone - so I offered to return the burnt pizza if they'd give me another one. We get there and Donna, the manager tonight was extremely rude to my wife. She first off admitted when showing her the pizza that it was burnt - then tries to justify it by saying we wanted it cooked well done. Basically playing it off like it was our fault they put a burnt pizza in a box and sold it to us. My wife asked why they even put it in a box and gave it to us and she only said "we're busy" and "well I didn't cut the pizza". But being the manager your responsibility is for everything in your store. My wife told her that she was being very rude and Donna's answer to that was, "yeah I know because I'm busy". What kind of customer service is that? A simple "I'm sorry for the oversight but I hope you come back and let me reimburse you for your pizza" would have been fine! Heck even an "I'm sorry" would have been something. We're sick of poor customer service here and won't come back. They've screwed up our pizzas there several times in the past - and I get it - no one is perfect but if you can at least treat your customers right they'll come back. We drove a total of 40 minutes getting everything settled and they don't seem to care about our repeated business there. So we'll take it elsewhere. I'd recommend you do the same, considering the more business they have the more they seem justified in treating customers poorly.
