We needed a quick lunch while out preparing for our Thanksgiving feast. This was our first experience at Jersey Mike's. We both ordered the Italian on rolls. They offer wraps, salad bowls and different sized subs. We saw them slice the lunch meat fresh for each order, can't recall ever seeing that happen in this area before! Topping selections included the usual lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, but also hot pepper spread and oil and vinegar. All in all the subs were fresh, delicious and the staff was pleasant and quick. We were on our way in no time with very full bellies. read more

I'm so angry with my experience I've just had with this Mikes!! First I walk in and the night crew are playing their music so loud you have to scream for them to hear your order...ok no problem I don't mind speaking up. So I order Two Chicken bacon ranch on rosemary parm bread with no tomatoes...simple nothing too complicating. I get home and my order is one plain chicken bacon ranch on reg bread and the other is a chicken bacon ranch made the way I ordered but on reg bread.. now normally I wouldn't call and complain but it's so plain and dry I'm not pleased. So I call and tell the employee my issue and they pass the phone to the manager. I speak to the manager and he proceeds to tell me that they didn't make my sandwich wrong but that I ordered it wrong....all while music still really loud in the back. Now I'm very angry! I suggested they turn the music down so they can take simple sandwich orders correctly. Then he hangs up on me. This has to be one of the poorest stores I have ever been to. Screwed up the order to the point where we just walked out. One guy taking orders from 3 people behind us I knew he was not very good from the way he cut the rolls. The bottom part was cut so thin I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't crumble as soon as you picked it up. Absolutely had no respect for the customer but still is twice the price of any other sub shop with the exception of Panera Bread! Here's a tip. Do you like plain sandwiches with copious amounts of oil and vinegar that squirt out when you try and take a measly bite? Do you like staring into empty space while in their bland and boring sandwich shop? If fucking so, you'll love jersey mikes. Don't get me wrong, I love sandwiches. I crave 12in meat loafs but Jersey mikes don't have a damn clue on how to construct one. They start out with plain bread (pretty normal right?) then they start adding shit you didn't even know belonged on a sandwich - raw onions, a cup of vinegar, oil, enough salt to give you a stroke and enough pepper to make you sneeze all the shit they just added on to the sandwich out of it. They don't even add pickles, Olives, peppers, or any normal condiments. It's just plain rude. The employees are chill but they always say some corny jokes that make you laugh awkwardly as you try to desperately to scan the menu so you can decipher what you want. The items on the menu are just plain gross and bland. You're honestly better off (not even joking) making a sandwich at home. I'm so pissed off that at the place that I had to stop at subway just to redeem my appetite. In conclusion: just don't even think about going in. Jersey Mike's in Navarre, Florida needs a new Lead or Manager! I know times are hard, but if you don't want to make sandwiches please do something else! As soon as I walked up to the counter the individual in the photo ask me "What do I want?" with a tone. I'm assuming he's a manager or lead because he was wearing a different kind of shirt and only him and another younger male were visible. Mine you, the place wasn't even busy! I was the only person in line and there were two other tables seated. As I'm deciding, the Lead mumbled something under his breath that I didn't hear clearly and went to the back. I knew this was off because the junior employee looked at him several times, but didn't say anything as he was obviously his junior. The junior employee was really nice! So, I asked for a Number 8, the junior employee looked back to the rude Lead again and he finally came back up front. At this time, I had been there for several minutes and I'm the only one in line. The rude Lead had on the same gloves he used from the back and proceeded to use his hand to wipe off the counter, then grabbed a piece of bread to make my sandwich. I immediately asked for a new piece because that was unsanitary and is not proper food handling etiquette. He goes to the back with the same gloves, grabs a new piece of bread and literally throw the piece with force he contaminated the first time back with all the other bread He then walks back to the back with an attitude leaving the junior employee to make my sandwich. I asked the junior employee the name of the rude Lead and asked if he was related to the owner, because how could someone be so rude and obviously not like their job still be there. He apologized for the Lead and told me that the Lead wasn't a relative that he know of but couldn't give out names, so here he is (see attached photo). What customer service job do you know of that doesn't wear name tags or give out names? Not even a first name So, I took his photo for reference. He told me I didn't have permission to take his photo and I told him "He could go straight to Hell, because this is a public place and he was being disgusting and so was his attitude!" I couldn't even eat the sandwich, I was so grossed out I believe he's just an ugly person and I know this is not a representation of Jersey Mike's but him. I loved Jersey Mike's and went a couple times a week in San Diego. I just moved here in the last few months and have been to JM's several time and received poor service every time. I only went back this time, because I received Birthday Loyalty Points and wanted to give them another chance; I will not be going back! How can someone so unprofessional be a Lead? I never even wronged this person, so why was his attitude so ugly? I even asked him what the problem was because I was generally confused by his behavior and actions and he had no reason other than they were busy. Yet, it's been like 15-20mins and no one has come in. It's just me and one table of two in the corner. The bread throw was supposed to be a screw me for speaking out about his unprofessionalism and cleanliness. It's okay, I will be contacting the Santa Rosa Department of Health, because this store does not care and it shows! I will be taking my business to Firehouse Subs from here on out because who wants food poisoning?! Corporate, if you want to know why this store has poor retention rates I can tell you it's because of the management. Also, I can tell by order of their reviews for this store that they have been paying to have their negative comments removed check out their Google and Yelp and look at their comments and images. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've probably ever experienced. Haven't even left the parking lot, but I just had to write this review! There was a gentleman and two women working this evening and they went above and beyond due to my allergies. I am allergic to gluten and dairy (they have gf bread), and they took their time sanitizing the grill and slicer before preparing our food. We apologized for the extra work, and she just smiled and said "not to worry, it's worth it". They all had amazing attitudes and the restaurant was extremely clean. poor customer service. we come in to this location once a week. they are rude every time you ask for something that they don't want to do, like crispy bacon etc. if it isn't a standard they mess it up or snap back at you. the most recent time (I always get a tub) the lettuce is frozen and gross in the tub. i was hoping since they were competing for another location up north they would improve. unfortunately they have not. a couple of the employees appear stoned every time I come in. i am praying we get a new location here with different staff and management. this is the Navarre, FL location read more

Great subs! I don't ever have a large wait time so not sure what the other reviews are talking about. And during a short staffed, post pandemic era, have some patients. All the staff have always been super nice and friendly, so again don't know why the shit reviews there either, it's a sub shop. There is one girl there that's a little cray cray- she to me and my husband is known as "the sub nazi." They have great subs but lately the customer service side of things has slipped so significantly. I've ordered online and gone in 45 mins later (it's supposed to be ready in 15 mins) only to stand at the counter and have absolutely no one acknowledge me until I literally hollered out "I'm just picking up an order!". Another time, there were 2 parties in front of me in line to order and the guy was just standing there not doing anything. The people in front of me walked out and finally after about 10 mins, someone came out from the back and yelled at the guy standing around and then proceeded to order him to help him. The employee refused and went in the back room and the decent employee ordered him to go home saying "you can't just hide in the back because it's busy". They then literally messed up my order like 3 times while they were making very simple sandwiches. I had to keep speaking up and correcting them for things like "uh, I ordered wheat but you put a white piece on the top" and "you forgot Mayo" (on a BLT). Another time I got a BLT delivered and there was one piece of bacon on the sandwich. Could you imagine if you had one tiny pierce of turkey in your sandwich, so why skimp on the bacon when that's the protein. Disappointed with service.. not food. During initial 10 minutes in store there was one employee, second employee was in toilet. Within 15 minutes of our entering, at least 6 people entered. Employee #1 asked how many people wanted a hot sup; only one, So he started on hot while Employee #2 remained in toilet. When employee 32 surfaced, there were now 8 customers. In effort to satisfy as many as he could, he started making subs and salads. Great. - Not! Result was that we, who had already been waiting while Employee #2 was in toilet, were forced to wait further as he tried to consolidate sub orders; vice first come first served.
