Rarely does- week go by without us ordering several meals from our local Firehouse Subs in the Navarre Publix shopping area; the staff is friendly, yet professional. Sandwiches are always fresh & quality control amazing even though several people may make the same subs.. They must follow the Waffle House training program because so many staffers work together efficiently in such a small place behind the counter. I don't usually ever check in at any chain businesses nor do I usually give a review for chains, but I just love Firehouse Subs!!! When we were finalizing our plans to head for Navarre for vacation my son in law was trying to guess how many times I would stop here on vacation (only once) as he remembered on my previous visits this was one of my favorite places (we don't have them anywhere around our area)!! Yes, it was delicious and it was so good to be back to grab a delicious turkey/bacon sub (grinder if y'all are from Massachusetts). The crew working was great and friendly! read more

Placed an online order that was set to be ready an hour before closing (8pm on a Friday). Got the club on a sub. Got home and it only had meat, cheese and condiments... no lettuce no tomatoes, and no bacon. My husband informed me when he was ordering on the app that they would use lettuce "if they had it". Ok... but everything else? Tomato? The bacon? I paid $13 for a sub with just meat and cheese on it. Really frustrating.... Employees were nice enough, since you have to check with them about a pick up order. They didn't mention to me at all how lacking my sandwich was going to be. Disappointed for sure! read more

I really enjoy firehouse subs but I'm not sure about this one anymore. Someone in my family cannot stand pickles and it even says on the receipt "**NO PICKLE**" and yet, every single time there is a pickle on the sub. I'm not sure what happens with the communication but it need to be worked on. The juice soaks in the bread and the person trying to eat it gets sick. Also some male employee there gave attitude after I clicked the 10% tip button. It just makes me not wanna go back. However there are some very nice employees, however I can't remember her name. The place is clean so I'm happy about that but just needs work on making sure orders are correct. It's a waste of about $10 if the sub is made wrong. Love it but I think I might take a break for a bit. I understand sometimes people forget, but if it's the same order over and over again, idk how that keeps happening. My husband & I came here today to claim my free birthday sandwich. We were in the area and we weren't sure if they were gonna be open since it's New Year today. They were and quite busy. We received a great service and great food. I got my medium Italian sub and hubby got a medium Pastrami Ruben sub. We love their house sauce and vanilla coke. So delicious! They always mess up your sandwich, bad customer service, just a bunch of teenagers that don't know what they're doing, they'll make your orders with the same glove they ring you up with. Very gross. Would not recommend. The owner has a smile so fake it could make a clown jealous... it's unsettling. They can't keep people either, every time I go in it's brand new people being trained. And people training them don't know what they're doing either bc they are pretty much brand new too. This place is the dumps. read more

I came in on 3/20/21 and order a Virginia honey game with no onion and no mustard and I received a sandwich with just ham and bread, nothing else on it. Today I came in, 3/22/21, to have my sandwich fixed and the female self identified manager tried to argue with me about how I originally ordered my sandwich and then admitted to not even being at work on 3/20/21. Imagine if your employees took responsibility for their mistakes without arguing with your customer, a wild concept. read more

This location was pretty great! We got our food pretty quick. Their brownies are my favorite, so big, soft and delicious! I love being able to choose from all the drinks they have with the new coke machine. The staff seemed like they could be a little friendlier, they weren't rude, they just took your order and that was about it. One downside I think is the prices. However, I do enjoy that there is a sign by the register that says fully involved and shows what items are on that sandwich if it's 'fully involved' that way I don't have to ask, so helpful. read more

Ordered online knowing they were fixing to close (sorry!). Of course my order wasn't ready by the time I got there as I was staying at the nearby Best Western and was informed that the call in orders had self serve chips and drink. Sorry Firehouse I must give you 2 stars because you haven't ever gone past that. Their subs seem 'wet' to me. I don't like wet subs. Always way too much mayo or whatever sauce they use and it drips out of the sub. My last sub had so much BBQ sauce I couldn't taste the meat, it just ruins the sandwich. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Two trips of soggy sandwiches doesn't fit my style. read more

I always heard ads for this place on the radio, and after moving to Navarre, I thought I'd try it out. Oh man, I was not disappointed. whatever sauce they use, it's to DIE for. It was an amazing sandwich. They don't keep at ALL and they get soggy pretty quick. So you've got to either eat it there or hurry home. Went there on 5/12/2020. The store is quite small and there were 12 customers, shoulder-to-shoulder. Only one customer wore a mask and clearly there was no social distancing. Worse yet, employees making the subs and food wore gloves but no masks! Gross & disgusting under normal circumstances, but with Covid 19, this was untenable and putting people at risk. Clearly a company not following rules for opening and one that does not care about it's employees or customers. Needless to say, I went elsewhere for subs. read more

Wait was not bad at all after ordering in house. Bread was soggy on philly cheese steaks. Ordered a medium sandwich, and received a small. Mushrooms thick and definitely canned. Barely any cheese. I think these subs are great, regular is 8", large is 12". Paid about $10 for a large combo, plenty of food. A bit crowded at lunch, had to wait a few mins for the food, but it was well worth it, best sub I've had in the FWB/Navarre area. Also, greeted by everyone on the staff the second I walked in. Out of all the chain sub places, Firehouse is hands down my favorite. The meat doesn't look/taste like the "fake" processed stuff you get from Subway. I always get the hook and ladder and I'm never disappointed. It's so delicious and tastes like you got it from a deli. The size of the medium drink always blows my mind with how huge it is. It's more like a large. It looked like they were training some new employees and one of those employees rung me up. He did a great job and made sure I knew what was on the sub even though I already knew but still not everyone is a Firehouse veteran. The customer service was excellent, I was greeted by more than one employee as soon as I walked in. Overall, I will come back to this Firehouse. read more

This is a great little chain! Their steak and cheese is delish, but their entire menu is great! A large sub with chips and a drink will run you $11-13 but I think its worth it. It takes 10-15 minutes to get your food, especially when its busy but I'll always come back! read more

The first one is of course the original cold sub.I always order the whole big sub.This way I have supper or lunch for the next day. The other sub is the Philadelphia Cheese Steak.It was a special for a Month.I always ask for extra cheese.Soooo yummy.. There is also a bar of different kinds of Hot Sauces.All different variation of heat, spicy and spices. I let some drop on my finger and taste it to find one that is to my liking.But a warning is to have a drink with you. Some are to spicy for me.But good fun if you have time. If not don't worry they are pretty fast.So if you don't have time it's okay also.Another thing is that they have create your own sub and if the sub you like is only like a month promotion.Don't worry just recreate it again. read more
