The cod fish & chips, at $19.50, consists of flavorful filets and is now a large enough portion to be a whole meal. When I dined in, I was offered one of three kinds of mayo dip - spicy, garlic-infused, and one more that I can't remember - as a supplement to their creamy tartar sauce. in addition, clam chowder has been added to the menu. I agree with another poster that it would have done well to have more briny clam flavor, but nevertheless, it was still good enough for me to finish. I really like that the person running the front of house brought the orders to the table, greeted frequent patrons with a "nice to see you again", and asked everyone if the food was good. I tried there new chicken bites with spicy barbecue sauce and it really didn't stand out for me. The sauce was not at all spicy and it just wasn't great barbecue. The chicken had pieces of cartilage and was very chewy. The fries were OK. I did also try one of their tenders, and I didn't like that most of the "spicy "seasonings were truly just powder rather than having seasoned the meat before cooking it. It's nice that you have the option to either go up to the register or order on the screen, it allows more people to put an order at the same time. I swear the line seems to be moving in the totally opposite direction LOL!! Yeah so I wanted to try the new Spicy Chicken Cheddar Club Sandwich on Pretzel Bun so kudos to their advertising department for that one. Maybe those crafty folks could put their heads together and figure out what's going on with this super slow service here. Anyway, just for the record it's a really solid Spicy Chicken Sandwich offering. I like everything about it from that firm Pretzel Bun, Applewood Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and Dijon Mustard. My only issue is their Spicy Chicken needs a bit more spice to it so I added their Buffalo Sauce for the win. I'm also a huge fan of their Salads here too so that was my side choice. When I called the store for a refund for the missing item, I was told they don't issue refunds, only offering to replace the item on my next order and directing me to call Chick-fil-A Cares for a refund. Chick-fil-A Cares said refunds are at the store's discretion; however, if the request is made through them, the store will honor it. They requested a refund and then received a call from Wayne Chick-fil-A customer relations. After re-explaining the situation, I was told they'd speak to the store manager and get back to me, but I haven't heard anything since. Posting a review only got me another offer to replace the item on my next visit, but I don't plan to return due to the poor service. This experience has been disappointing, with unclear policies, poor customer service, and nonsense red tape between the franchise and corporate.
