I know, just a chain sub shop. But this particular store has great management and has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in at any price point. Quality wise, it is below Firehouse and two notches above Subway, which to me is the perfect spot. The meats are sliced fresh and that makes a HUGE difference. Not a huge selection, but enough -- plus they have whole wheat option. They'll willingly take big phone orders too, not something less efficient shops welcome. And their affinity program is a no-brainer. Give them a cell phone number and download the app and every purchase gets you points toward a free sandwich. No problem with the chain, like the sammich, but can't tolerate this location. Three times they have closed early on me. First time was me just dropping in 30 minutes before close, lights out, door locked. Ok one time staff walks. Next time I had ordered online and paid, get there an hour before close and they are locked up for the night! Last chance, 3rd of July I call and confirm they are open for the 4th, yes we are open regular hours. I put an online order in for 5 pm and pay. I call at 230 to adjust the time until 6 and they informed me that they are closing between 3 and 4, I asked which one is it 3 or 4? Well they can wait for me so 4. What the heck supposed to be open until 9! Had to leave party to pi k up. There are tons of sandwich shops, I can't have an inconsistent shop that shags my plans, especially after I have paid! I never knew this place was here -- I had been going to Jersey Mike's on Sandy Plains Road or Powers Ferry Road -- but I'm glad I found it, because it's now my favorite! Yes, it has the typical Jersey Mike's menu of various solid subs served your way or "Mike's Way" with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil+vinegar, and spices, but it's also quite spacious, very clean, and is staffed with friendly and fast sandwichmakers. Interestingly, the prices here are also cheaper than I've seen at other Jersey Mike's. If you get a Shorepoints card, you can accumulate points towards free subs. I would never spend a dime at this location or A jersey Mikes period. This was my 1st and last time. I never in my life experienced a service like this at a sandwich place. I asked for a sandwhich a specific way. This server named Joe (immature smart ass) says something about a menu I never looked at and decided to give me everything I did not ask for. 1st of all, that policy makes no sense. Give me what I asked for, no questions ask, I don't need to be persuaded any other way. My wife called to explain. I drive all the way back the sandwhich wasn't even made over. I call the manager and here we go with the bullshit. "Trying to take care of a customer" is all he was saying, but yet I was not taking care of at ALL. Taking care of a customer is making them happy within reason to wjay they came to purchase. A headache over a sandwhich. Unbelievable. I live in east cobb and always go to this location but I'm done w them. Went there 3/5/17 Sunday at 3pm and the kid that works there all the time says as I walk in the door "were out of white and wheat bread and won't have any for 45min" I say ok and leave. Wow! All u serve is sandwiches! How do I run out of bread?? In my eyes, that's not ok. I could see ten minutes but really 45. Went back there 3/10/17 Friday and let the same kid know how displeased I was and he called me an a__-hole as I was walking out the door. This Jersey Mikes was the first that I had ever been to and my goodness am I glad that I went. The service was wonderful, and one worker named Avery truly made me feel welcome, being sure to make conversation with me and not just take my order. The place was also clean, and there was a great vibe between the workers and customers. I have not even had my sandwich yet but just the experience was not stellar. First the employee dropped the cheese on the floor which he did take to the back. Then the cashier picked up my cup with one hand and kept rubbing the rim in the palm of his other hand talking to the other employees. It's one thing if he had washed his hands which I'm assuming he did but handling money and having all the germs and bacteria potentially transferred onto my cup was bothersome. I picked up a cup off the stack and suggested to him that it's better not to touch the rim of the cups for customers. he put the cup back on the stack and asked me to read the screen and answer the question which was do I want to tip? I chuckled gave a 10% tip and I'm now in my car thinking I don't really ever want to go back to this location. Stopped in for the first time ( and my last). Wanted a simple sandwich. The more vocal gentleman simply would not listen to my order. Added items I didn't want. Had to have him remake the sandwich twice. When I didn't answer his questions to his liking he just ignored me and kept messing up the order. Tried to sell me extra items after repeatedly saying "that's it". So basically they throw away food and made sure I was extremely unhappy.
