Everything we ordered was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. There is ample seating in the outdoor patio as well as around the store on the "sidewalk". We took advantage of a nook outside of the market area, which was nicely shaded with tables and chairs. There was also a lot of comfy seating inside with a couple of nooks furnished with chairs and couches for families to sit in. Past the cafe is a market area with merchandise and wine. Had the Killer & Jennabelle on a Kaiser roll. Not going to bore you with details, just get it they are awesome. Right off the main road, missing this local gem on your trip would be a huge mistake. We noticed that the cafe smelled amazing when we walked in the door. The staff were very friendly, upbeat and helpful. We ordered a large and a medium pizza which were both generous in size. Our granddaughter commented that the pepperoni pizza was tasty yet lacking enough meat. The large sausage-pepperoni-mushroom-onion was full of fresh ingredients and very delicious. Chewy crust with the right amount of sauce. We ordered 2 garden salads which were fresh, good mix of veggies and came with a generous amount of homemade ranch dressing. The boneless chicken wings were also great. The sauce had a nice kick (if a bit of spice is your thing.) We had enough leftover for lunch the next day. The tab came to $80.00 which is a steal for dinner and lunch for 8. Wishes we lived locally; would be regulars.

Service was atrocious and non-existent for asking for the tip up front, 25% of course. If you go…read morehere, stick to the rule of "If I order standing up I'm not tipping." We tipped well and it did not ensure good or prompt service at all. I wish I could have taken back my tip after the lousy meal and experience. When we ordered I asked for two cups of ice water to fill our bottles and she brought us one and said she couldn't bring another. She also made us come pickup our food but brought others theirs. It was as if after 5 minutes she forgot who ordered what. Mind you, we were the only couple in here when we arrived, a small group of 4 outside, no one inside. We had three groups come in after us with about 10 people total. The girl taking orders at the counter acted as if any requests were a complete inconvenience to her in an empty restaurant. We ordered two sandwiches, an Italian and a custom gluten-free sub. The Italian was the worst Italian sandwich I have ever had in my life. The pickled onions and fresh meats were good, but the giant chunks of mozzarella and missing oils, vinegar and peppers really stood out as making it incomplete. It was not toasted at all. The gluten free sub was super dry and part of it inedible. We ordered a large side of jalapeño popper potato salad....no idea why it was called that...there wasn't a single jalapeño in it and I assumed some type of cream cheese...it was just really bad potato salad, we fed most of it to the seagulls with the super dry parts of the gluten-free sub. We had to go up and ask for additional silverware and napkins...when we picked up our food we got one spoon and nothing else. Again, asking for napkins and another spoon seemed like a huge hassle for the staff. When we were done we weren't sure if this was a "clean up after yourself" place or not so we bussed our own table...what was the tip for again? Anyways, bad experience. Terrible parking lot for motorcycles as it's mostly deep gravel. We won't be back.

Everything I've tried has been delicious and worth the trip. The wait times can definitely be long, especially when they're busy. I do wish they had a better system for letting customers know when their order is ready. An order screen showing the numbers that are in progress and ready would make a huge difference. It can be difficult to hear or know when your number is called. That said, the food is absolutely worth the wait. Seating can also be competitive, but it's worth fighting for a picnic table and enjoying your bagel outside. If you're in Corolla, this is a must-visit.
