Had big hero I shared with my wife with a coupon I got in the mail right down the street from where we live; First time eat/ordered from here; Maybe I go out to dinner/lunch/breakfast 10 times a year tops; beef etc was good, pickup & price was good; your bread is worse than Subways; soft spongy; the most fundamental thing about a good sandwich is the bread yours is the worst I ever had except Subways; may at least toast it a little, our better yet make your own bread; I gave mine to my dog & he didn't like it . I am a fan of Jersey Mike's and since I travel a lot for business, I find that the locations do have a consistency to the quality. Today I stopped by this location to pick up a "catering order." Basically, it is four giant subs in a box. The only thing that I do not like is that it costs $60.00. If you do the math, there is no way any four subs will add up to $60.00. Lesson learned, from now on I will just order four giant subs. But, as a whole, Jersey Mike's is head and shoulders above the other well known national sub chains. Why I passed Jersey Mike's so many times and never thought to come in is a mystery to me. I knew that I wanted a sub and at first I was OMW to Publix until I remembered that Jersey Mikes wasn't far and someone told me to. We opted for the Big Kahuna and we were not disappointed! It's loaded with cheese, steak, peppers and onions but I had to add some mushroom. I thought it would be similar to Subways "Philly" but once I saw them put the steak and peppers on the grill I knew it would be better. Their ingredients are fresh, their customer service is great and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood for a quick sub! read more

I have to say that this is my favorite sub place in the city. The meats are better than any other in town. They are fast at making you sub right in front of you, a wide assortment of toppings to top of the sub of your choice. My favorite two are the Italian, Mike's way and the Cheese Steak. Both hot and cold subs are offered. Another good reason to go is their rewards points club. You get points for every purchase that are redemable for free subs. The hunt for a good sub can sometimes be difficult, but Jersey Mikes doesn't disappoint. My biggest issue with subs are sogginess, meat scarcity, freshness, and bread texture. Jersey Mikes checks all of these boxes for me. Their sandwiches are a great texture (not mushy like firehouse), have an abundance of meat (unlike sub way), and are really fresh. I also like that the subs come in a mini size for those days when you want more of a snack or lite lunch. I think it would be great if they served French fries- would distinguish them a bit from the other sub franchises (plus, who doesn't like fries with deli?) read more

I love this place so much!!! My husband and I always get the big kahuna and they call it 99....That's included steak, cheese, lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo, mushroom, pickled pepper, jalapeño. The sub is always hot and the cheese is melted to perfection, the combination of jalapeño and pickled pepper is soooo good! Must try for sure! I haven't tried the other subs on the menu but all the times I went there it never disappointed me. Plus they have shore point if you rack up enough you get a free sub :D who doesn't love free sub. read more

I was in the area and if there's a Jersey Mike's I'm stopping. I always get the same sub the Italian, Mike's way no tomatoes. Sometimes I even get a whole one and have it for dinner too. Now Mike's is the closest to a real New Jersey Sub to me. read more

I went in to order and I was disappointed there is this lady Heather I think she is the manager there very rude to her employees and had an attitude when I go there and I see she is there I opt to go get a pizza at Little Caesar at least they are friendly enough but when Mr. Chris is there it is a very comfortable environment to be it I say Ms. Heather should not be in this location she really gives a very bad image to the place read more

Poor service. They don't understand that online orders are supposed to be ready when they tell the customer their time to pick up the order. They don't start the order until after you show. Not good. Other considerations was that it was a Sunday morning with no one in line. And they don't start the order until after you show up. Didn't get the order. Had to get refunded. read more

This was my first time at a Jersey Mike's, I haven't even tried the sandwich yet but I can promise that if you walk in and Chris is working you will have a positive experience! He was friendly and inviting and even on a lunch rush he gave each individual a personal moment. His positive attitude made my quick trip to grab lunch enjoyable. What a great lunch break! My co workers and i came in today and got a Buffalo Philly, the Big kahuna Philly, and the Jersey club! The sandwich's were very filling and tasty! The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I even mentioned I would love a fresh chocolate chip cookie and the gentleman behind the counter said they had some freshly baked ones and went and packaged them for us! My favorite place for roast beef, they make in store and it is almost always perfect. The last 3 roast beef subs I got there the roast beef was overdone for my taste, there was almost no red and I think the new manager up there is having it cooked to their taste. I like mine bloody the way RB should be but I do understand some folks like theirs well done so why don't you guys have 2 RB'S one nice and rare and another for the folks that like that well done abuse to RB. read more

Unfortunely, the sandwich I got was so bad. It was swimming in mayo making the bread soggy. There was no cheese on it and 1 slice of tomato. I tried to eat it but just couldn't, so it went in garbage. I will say the 2 employees were very nice. read more

This location is literally 2 min from my house. Customer service was on point and I love how they have a "tip share" system in place for their employees. I had the Italian sub done "Mike's Way" with salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil. To be honest....once you've been to a NY style sandwich shop...you've been to them all. Nothing spectacular here...but it's a solid sandwich spot with lots of good options. read more

I have been going to this Jersey Mikes for the last few months. Customer service is great and the employees are always very friendly. I am a huge fan of their subs(mainly the turkey club mmmm). This is my go to spot usually 3/5 days im working. I usually call in my sub and they already know who it is and what i want!lol. Shout out to Cam and sierra for always taking care of me up there. I have been eating Jersey mikes for a long time. From Oregon to Florida. I feel as though lately the locations have gotten extremely skimpy with the meat. I always get the large, which is $14... and Usually have to ask for extra meat ( which i am willing to pay for). However lately when I ask for extra meat, i feel i am not getting it. And when I speak up, i get the employee arguing with me. Really jersey mikes.. there is so many other sandwich shops I could choose, you would think you would want to improve on guest perception of value. From now on I will go to Firehouse or Larrys. Even subway has better value than You at this point. read more

When I first started eating here I really enjoyed the subs. It is close to work and quick to pick up with a phone ahead order. Then a bit ago I group of us from work ordered and my sub got missed. When I called to tell them that I was told point blank that I was lying and all subs were placed in the bag. After a few minute conversation they relented and said that the next time I came in my sub would be free. Well a week later I gave it another go also with a few people from work. I ordered a simple philly and they loaded it "mikes way". I couldn't even eat it as when I unwrapped it, it was a big mussy mess. Dripping in vinegar I tossed it. I stopped ordering with everyone else for work for a while then a few weeks ago I relented and went back, another sub for the trash. This time I didn't even call, I gave up and have decided never to eat there again. My coworkers have not had the same issues as me and still continue to eat here but have learned not to ask me if I want anything. read more

There is apparently new ownership and management, as I noticed when I walked in. I had a camel rider, with everything on it - mayo, onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, Italian dressing and cheese. I will probably come back again and try more of their sandwiches as well as breakfast.

But Jax Bread is probably the best you're going to get in Jacksonville. And it's excellent on its own merits. I ordered the lox bagel and it hit all the right notes: a perfectly chewy bagel, super fresh toppings, and the ideal cream cheese-to-bagel ratio (which matters more than people realize). Everything tasted fresh and was thoughtfully put together (more proper ratios). The service is always lovely, and I've genuinely never had anything here that wasn't delicious. This visit, I also grabbed the day-old mystery 3-pack of bagels so I could carb out a few more times this week. They're just as tasty, freeze beautifully, and at $2.99 it's an unbeatable deal. I'm already eyeing Jax Bread for some Christmas goodies this year because there are so many great things to choose from. If you haven't been yet, fix that.

It comes hot and with cheese. The sandwich was amazing! There was so much flavor packed into it - the pesto was amazing. It was also a great size. I can wait to go back and try some of their other items. They seem to also sell an array of beverages, tons of bread of course, and they have a section of day old bread at a discounted rate. Definitely a must try!

The only thing I would complain about is how close the call box for the drive thru is to the main road of traffic. Luckily every time I get there, there's no one at the call box ordering. Probably just jinxed myself though.
