The guys making the sandwiches at store 20216 on 1795 S. Alameda were talking more than paying attention to my order I ordered 2 Philly steak. and 2 others he only heard 1 Philly then when he did the second one he wrapped them both up and DID NOT ask if I wanted anything on them. I wanted Mayo tomato and onion I really don't know if I'll go back to this location again even though it's the closest to me. Plus they said they only had rosemary and wheat I said all wheat I get home to eat and the bread was the rosemary MESSED read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Sandwiches Near Me - Compton, California

Jersey Mike's in Compton has the best customer service in the city. Tia seems to know the customers by name. The food is prepared quickly and properly. Hands down a place you need to visit! Can't wait for my next sandwich read more

Today was the worst visit I had at Jersey Mike's. I took my son here after school as a reward restaurant was amazing. I know they have a closer some time to remodel and it was a good look. However there was no customer service, there was a lot of chatter going around, and the lady taking my money wasn't paying attention and charge me twice and I had to make two different payments. She was very nonchalant and when I question what was she doing she walked away. I will not be going here anytime soon I will also be telling my friends and family not to come. read more

the service at this location is top notch! Ordered for our semi annual meeting last week but lost the receipt for expense claims. Called the store and spoke with Juan who went above and beyond to assist with locating my receipt within 30 mins. Thank you Juan H! Highly recommended. Food was great too! read more

Been a while since I had Jersey Mikes so I was excited about this. Long story short, I found hair and plastic in my sandwich today. So, thanks for that. read more

Good spot. I have been there a handful of times. Recently I have gone twice in the past week. So far when I walk in I'm greeted. The workers seem to be helpful. My sandwiches are really good. I had a special order for my brother who recently had a stroke and the young girl was nice enough to help. That counts alot. Thank you. I wish I had her name because I would definitely give a shout out to her. read more

As someone who loves Jersey Mike's and doesnt normally write reviews, it saddens me to post this. Today I arrived to order my favorite sub (#7 on wheat). The associate prepared my sub and all was well. However, when I went to pay. The associate informed me that their internet was down so my reward points would delay in updating. Which was no problem for me. The problem came when I tried to pay for my sub. I recently celebrated my birthday and was gifted a $25 gift card for Jersey Mike's. I was excited to celebrate my sub along with a $1 off a regular sub coupon I had. But due to the internet being down, my gift card wasnt working! How does that even work? Why does the internet affect my gift card? It sucks too because the associate was trying to see what he could do to help me out. He kept calling the manager and she didn't even bother coming towards us. She just shouted from the back, "it won't work. Internet is down." This is the second time a manager at this location could care less about their guest (had a problem at this location just three weeks ago!). I left without my sub!!! Why would I pay for my sub if I had a gift card that was given for my birthday? I lost out on a sub, my coupon, and currently hungry at work as a result. It is ridiculous that this is what I've become to experience from this location. I'm not sure I'll be enjoying Jersey Mike's from here on out. read more

The food is ok. The issue I have with this place is that the employees do not acknowledge me when I come in. 100% lazy and rude girls that work there and did not take my order when I was clearly the only one in the store because they told me I wasn't standing in Line in the right place. It was less than 2 feet from where i was already waiting for my order to get taken. Never going back! I'm 2for2 bad experiences there. read more

This was my first time at Jersey Mikes and it was probably my best experience visiting a new place. From the start I felt so welcomed. Evelin took my order and she was EXTREMELY patient and knew the menu inside and out. Jazmin was at the register and was very polite. At some point Erin came in and I had to tell her of my great customer service and even got ANOTHER sandwich. All in all, this was a great experience and I'll definitely be back!! Shoutout to Evelin for the great recommendation! Definitely getting the #42 again read more

Shout out to Adrianna. Great customer service! Very pleased, will be back very soon! Thank you! read more

I had to try and and see what was all the hype about and it was good not bad at all! I ordered the chipotle steak sandwich which was too creamy, if they would of put a little less it would of been bomb but other than than I had to put my jalapeño peppers on my own ! read more

BIG SHOUT OUT!!!! To Tia, Chris and Divine!!! Being a Celiac It's hard to find a place to eat and not me get contaminated. But I give props to these beautiful people. I CAN EAT A SUB AGAIN!! The kitchen is set up to prepare gluten choices in a separate area...AWSOME!!! The knowledge and helpfulness of the staff is comforting. They were willing to tie the time even tho it was in the middle of the lunch rush but nevertheless Tia (The Manager) jumped in and mad me the best # 9 EVER!!! Thank you guys again!!!! read more

So disappointed I went in for lunch yesterday just to get a sub for the bread to be so crispy and crumbly which indicates not fresh. Completely ruined my lunch. I was looking forward to the usual fresh soft bread. I might as well had gone to subway in this case. Do better ! read more

Awesome. Great sandwich I had the Philly Cheese Steak. Nice clean store and friendly staff. Thank you. read more

This is my favorite Jersey Mike's for many reasons but number #1 has to be the amazing customer service I receive every time I come in ! From my first visit to this store Edwardo (The shift ) helped me out and told me about the wonderful Double point Tuesday's !! He knows me and my mans usuals which is 13 and always makes it perfect and always greets us with an amazing attitude and always has great conversation while he prepares our Giant 13 . I also would love to complement Divine another amazing crew member at this jersey mike's ! The Tuesday Crew they both make it a point to get to know their customers and their favorites . read more

Not happy at all with this place . Compton location shift manager Angelyca . This is the 2nd time I have come with in 45 minutes before closing and they have nothing available . No bread and the Gill isn't working ( turned off already) . I have been other locations and have never had this problem. Something needs to be done . I will never come to this location again. read more

I placed a large online order the day before so they would have it first thing. When we arrived they said "Someone already picked it up." Only 3 people knew about it and we didn't have the food. THEY NEVER MADE THE FOOD! A refund was requested because they did charge the $420.18 on our card. 25 people did not get lunch that day. I tried calling several times but it just went to voice-mail. No call back yet. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! read more

Tia, and all of the employees have the best customer service. Tia takes her time to ensure your order is done correctly , I think she is the Manager for this location. I live in Redondo Beach, and come all the way to this location because out of all the Jersey Mike's I ever been to (Hawthorne's location being the worse) , this location is the cleanest, all ingredients are fresh, and the customer service is the best ! My sandwich literally melted in my mouth. I got the turkey sandwich and added avocado. It was perfectly made and the bread was amazing. I enjoyed every , single bite. I will always come to this location. read more

ON 11/15/21, I placed the order on the app. Order didn't show on time, when I clicked on the status, my order was cancelled because the store wasn't able to meet my order because they r back logged. BUT, THEY CHARGED ME TODAY!!!! NO CUSTOMER CONTACT INFO N THEIR WEBSITE IS DOWN!!!! read more

This is the worst MJ location ever very slow even when nobody there... Last week on my lunch I decided to go to jersey mikes or on and on which is next door to jersey mikes and as soon I as walked up the door the employees were hiding behind the counter and decided to turn off the lights as if they were closed. So I was like what the hell? It's only 7:30 on a Wednesday 6/13. That made me feel like damn theses employees are lazy went to on & on had a good experience with this young lady who super kind. Since I work right around the corner. My husband also works at a jersey mikes in Long Beach and his a manager and I will never come back to this location again. Rather drive farther out. Smh hire new people! Lazy read more

The third time i order a sub online and when I showed up it is not ready 10min more added to the pick up time, this last time staff didn't even bother to look up online orders until i showed up smh read more

Went to this jersey mikes on a Friday afternoon. Wasn't greeted when I walked in. I get it people are tired, but a "hello" would suffice. Walked up to choose a sandwich I was going to order when I noticed there was a fly on the meat cutter. I had told the guy there was a fly and he gently swat it with his glove, the glove HE WAS GOING TO PREPARE MY SANDWICH WITH. I then asked him if he would clean the area where the fly was and he seemed bothered and said "well yeah". After I looked around, the tomatoes were in some brown water, lettuce was turned brown, and the work area was very dirty. This place is real dirty and not friendly at all. Drove to another jersey mikes and they were amazing (in Carson). read more

Tia and Eduardo are the best.. they keep a smile on there face and talk to you.. they took my order and made it fast.. the sandwich was fresh.. always will come here over any other sandwich place read more

The service was amazing that people were super friendly and they honor the patrons discount

Had a tuna sub so good!!! Quality ingredients so much better than subway! Food servers were friendly

I have never eaten at any of this chain's restaurants and I have to say the food is delicious. The staff was awesome and super fun and polite which is always welcome. The only downside is that I placed my order over the phone and at some point my Chipotle Chicken Sandwich got switched to beef. I must say it still tasted awesome but chicken would have hit the spot a bit better. Overall I'm sure my next review will be a 5 if my order is correctly filled! read more

Excellent service.... staff members greet and are very friendly and courteous!! First time at this location and very please to get above and beyond service. Server took his time and referred me to the reward points!! The sandwich was delicious and the service was excellent!!! read more

Sergio was awesome , I love coming to this location . Every TIME I come here it's always good small talk and he makes the BEST SANDWICHES

Great Guy Derrick held it down. And Ms Brenda made my day. Thank you for your hospitality. Will return soon

Slow service in part since customers are not well versed how to order quickly and let the staff get started on their sandwiches. The Chipotle cheesesteak was not as good as I have had at other locations. Not sure why this visit was not as good as others. read more

Amazing customer service, been going to this location since they opened and will continue too. Always know just how to make my favorite sandwich the #8 everything is always fresh and tastes great. read more

Terrible service messed up on our Oder and the sandwich maker had the nerve to argue with us

This place is the bomb.com, good sandwiches and I like their rewards program you earn free sandwiches. I went their today and the customer service was not so great. One of the sandwich makers made a rude comment in front of me because I was paying with a hundred dollar bill. The cashier said "oh! I can't expect a $ 100.00? And I said why? That's all I have and the food is $40.00. I have no change! So she looked at the manager and asked if she could take the bill and the manager said "yes"! Check it. And the chick that was making sandwiches blurted out " make sure you check it cause somebody already brought in a fake bill "!. And the cashier said I already did! I know how to check a bill! .. and she responded I'm just saying! I ain't trying to get in trouble"! So I responded you are very rude!! If you are going to talk shit ! You should do it when the customer leaves. Not in my face , shit I'm standing right here.. I ain't passing off now fake bills bitch , I just came from the bank. So you being judge mental? I don't have to pass fake bills! Everybody ain't on that bullshit! Got my change took my food and left. I've been going there since they opened and always had a good experience with customer service. She must be new. read more

This my second time at this location for starters. 1st visit out of wheat bread. Moving forward to second visit. Told the young man dressing the sandwich that it was my sandwich but he insisted that it was for another customer. Only to find out that she order the same 13 but hers was a reg. mine giant. So she is given the giant sandwich. They go to make my sandwich and once again no more wheat bread. So my #8 and #13 giant once again could not be made to order. Next came check out ask if I wanted to you points I had to remind him I needed 144 for giant and I'm at 139. As you can tell I know about JM since I visit them all over the city of LA proper and not proper. To top things off I get home and the #8 is missing the bacon. Just a suggestion please forecast the amount of wheat bread that your location is using so that will available for customers on request. Train employees to listen to customer and don't assume only takes a moment to verify info. to keep customer happy and coming back. And, know your reward program as to not suggest something to a customer that there not in a position to receive. For these reasons I can not score stars based on food and service just the disappointment I feel right now in reference to my visit. read more

Had my cold sub (number 13) "Mike's Way!" And WOW what an amazing sub! Best I've had by far so glad this is close to home!
