No counting back my change from the hundred dollar bill, no thank you, nothing. Walk to the end. Guy asks what I need. I said I ordered the salad bar. Had the ticket in hand. He puts the plates on tray and hands them to me. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing. Salad bar was excellent. I will say that. Jason's is one of my favorite places because salad is my favorite food. While I sat and ate, I looked around. Most of the tables were dirty, floors were dirty, tables and chairs in disarray and yet, no more than six tables in there. The employees, with the exception of the above mentioned I spoke of look like a scene from the Walking Dead. Should Frank Darabont ever need to cast again, I would suggest starting in Columbus, GA at Jason's Deli. Complete misery on their faces. No greetings, no smiles, no communication, nothing. I've been using Publix a lot lately, and was in town for his OCS graduation at Fort Moore. I picked a Publix closest to my Airbnb which happened to be this location. On the date/time of our pick up after phoning an order in the previous week, no cookie cake order was ready in my name. I was disappointed but luckily the gentleman working at the bakery very quickly remedied the situation and made one up for me immediately. He then discounted it a few dollars which was kind of him. This won't be my sons home Publix but in a pinch it is nearby and I am very grateful for the exceptional same day service the bakery staff member provided to me. The cake was for the next afternoon and when we served it, it was delish as per the usual with Publix cookie cakes.

The cashier made sure I chose the turkey I would like the best as there are 2 options for turkey: roasted or smoked. I chose the roasted turkey at first but ended up getting the smoked turkey since it has a sweeter taste. It was so sweet and tender. OMG!! The package came with about 10-12 slices which makes about 5-6 sandwiches depending on how much meat you like. I paid about $15 so it was a win for me. I bought the hickory honey mustard as well. The honey mustard definitely makes a difference on the sandwhich but be sure not to put too much honey mustard as the taste can be very strong and overpowering.
