I got off to a rough start at this Jersey Mike's location but I am happy to say that I have visited a good deal since that first experience and am happy to now raise my rating to four stars. The subs are always fresh and delicious. I generally order the #8 Club Sub or the #13 The Original Italian. Whatever I order I always opt for the rosemary parmesan bread, it really puts the sandwich over the top for me. I usually order the giant size and split it with my wife. Ordering online is quick and easy. My orders are always prepared correctly and ready in a timely manner. Staff is friendly and helpful, most everyone seems to enjoy their jobs. The restaurant always appears neat and clean. Jersey Mike's is my favorite chain sandwich shop. Be sure to create a Jersey Mike's account to earn digital rewards. love your subs but to get a code for discount is impossible, #1 out of date, #2 capital one to get coupon, #3 does not work at this store. How can such a good making sub have such poor PR. I saw the head of jersey mikes on tv stating how he started from the bottom so why is he making it so hard for working people to get a discount. First I would like you to say that the food was actually pretty good. So no complaints there. My problem was with the cleanliness of the actual restaurant. From the soda machines, to the outside of the trash cans, to the tabletops and even the floors. There was filth everywhere. And I mean everywhere. It's very hard to see just how dirty it was in my pictures, but I didn't want to make my picture taking obvious. They need to close this place for a night and give it a deep, deep clean. read more

My sub bread is usually always soft. They are stingy with the toppings but over all the sub is delicious. You have to ask for extra mayo because your sandwich will be dry with the little that they put on it. Pay for extra toppings if you can. I prefer these over any of the other chains though. read more

I'm not going to lie, this is my third time eating Jersey's Mike and this probably has made me a believer. The good - the sub itself is chef kisses! The chipotle Mayo and onions just make this thing a little heaven in your mouth. The parmesan cheese bread really did it for me. The chips weren't bad nor were they anything to brag about but they got ate nonetheless. The Bad - I placed my order online which was easily done but the wait time was quite ridiculous, 50 minutes. Are you telling me if I came in person, I still would've had to wait almost an hour for my order? The location, while the location is nice, finding it was a little difficult in my opinion, the gps basically had me drive past it multiple time and eventually parking behind the building and walking up like I was one of the residents from the adjoining apartments. The price, my entire order came to $23. Maybe I'm just from a time where I'm use to my foot longs being $5. How does my order coast more than my 5 guys order? I haven't been to this location in a while, but I will usually drive the extra 10 minutes to come here. I walk in there today and there's three workers in there. One is sitting at a table. The other two were standing there, but walked away from me as soon as I walked in, and didn't acknowledge me at all. I stand there for a good couple minutes before the worker sitting at the table asks me if I wanted to order something. Well of course, why else would I come in there!? Giving a 2* because one bad staff should not cause other to look bad. The person preparing the food was rude when handing me my order. I didn't know my order number because I didn't want a receipt. He called out a number and I thought it could of been mine. I ask him is that my Famous Philly Steak. He looked at me and asked what is your number? I said I didn't know because I didn't ask for receipt. I always look forward to writing reviews for parks and original, locally owned restaurants and businesses; writing about an experience at a nationwide chain is not something I rush out to do. However, chains warrant honest reviews too--especially when one is treated to subpar or exemplary service and food. I share the following with you about my first visit to Jersey Mike's Subs. The first thing I noticed upon entering was the fun décor; the interior has a Jersey shore beach vibe going on and I dig it. The print on the wall says, "Point Pleasant," which is the location of the original Mike's Subs founded back in 1956. Adding to the fun, lighthearted atmosphere is a friendly crew. Jersey Mike's is known for its customer service and dedication to making everyone who visits feel like a regular. When we walked in (myself, my three boys, and a friend of theirs), I told them it was our first time and the staff took the opportunity to tell us about the menu and had lots of patience as we made our selections. Basically, there are cold and warm subs along with wraps; the warm subs -such as their infamous cheesesteaks- are cooked to order right in front of you. It takes a bit longer this way, but who wouldn't rather have fresh ingredients cooked to order over microwaved limp meat? Their sizes are giant (14-15-in.); regular (7-in.); and the mini (5-in.). We all went with the regular, which was plenty big enough. My youngest had the kid's meal and I believe that is even smaller than a mini; it also comes with a cookie and drink. He said he wanted salami on his but I knew he isn't a fan of spicy so I tried to talk him out of it. The staff said they could give him a sample to try and handed him a nice, big piece. I thought this was awesome customer service and something I wasn't expecting. (Okay--so he loved it and said it wasn't spicy. My little boy is growing up!) When it comes to an amazing sub, it's all about the bread. If you're used to the cardboard-like, tasteless glutenous items served at places such as Subway, then you're in for a real treat at Jersey Mike's. My first bite blew me away with the freshness of the bread: soft, chewy, and full of homemade bread flavor. Not only was my tongue tantalized, but the aroma from the fresh sub roll made me smile. Needless to say, the bread itself won me over. One of the staff people told me Jersey Mike's makes all of the bread at their main location and ships it daily to each location. By doing so, they guarantee a uniform bread. If the stores each made their own bread, the taste would vary from store to store due to different water sources. I got a regular chipotle cheesesteak ($6.45 for the sandwich alone or $8.64 for a combo) with mushrooms added at my request with no extra charge. It comes with a chipotle mayo but it wasn't spicy in the least; I should have added jalapenos to it. The taste was fantastic, though, so no complaints from me. Some cheesesteaks are filled with meat that can be tough and/or chewy but this was perfect. You can't go wrong with a cheesesteak at Jersey Mike's. Next time I'll have to try one of their cold subs. As we were finishing our meal, one of the staff asked how we enjoyed the food and when we raved about it he said, "Good. So I assume you'll be returning?" The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and that is a dying skill in fast food restaurants. Kudos to Jersey Mike's for offering customers quality food with excellent customer service. Check your food before leaving if it's close to closing. Almost every time we order and it's close to closing they don't pay attention to detail. My husband hates cheese. I order no cheese for him all the time. When it's close to closing we always get cheese on his sub and it's too late to get a remake. So wash your hands check your food before leaving or be prepared to go hungry or get something to eat from elsewhere. read more

We order a big takeout from work here last week and it's the first time I've eaten here since they opened back in 2010 according to my previous review. Honestly we were looking for something fast and close by due to the training sessions we were locked into last week. As we were checking the menu online and looking into catering we discovered we could place our orders through the website (catering needs to be at least 24 hours in advance). Not only can you select your sandwich (hot or cold) but you can also customize the toppings and condiments as well. In a matter of minutes we the order in for about 12-13 people and we picked up about 45 minutes later. We paid online when submitting our order and when we arrived they provided us with to large paper bags full of sandwiches. Each sandwich was individually wrapped with the persons name on it. As far as I know everyone enjoyed their meals, I heard no complaints. My particular order was a cold club sub and it was delicious and made exactly as request. The shop did a great job. read more

First off the food here is some of the best you can find in the area, the bread is always freshly baked, the meats and cheeses are always cut in front of you, and the oil and vinegar tie the whole thing up nicely in a bow. The servers have always been super friendly and are ready to help with questions. The interior is clean and inviting, the restrooms are clean and the lobby is always packed around lunchtime, but the staff help to work everyone through in a timely fashion. Soon as she starts walking towards my food & another worker tells her to take over I said "HELL NO, SHE IS SICK I DON'T WANT HER PREPARING MY FOOD". Went ordered roast beef on rosemary cheese and ordered the big kahuna on regular white I didn't get the big kahuna instead I received the cheese steak sandwich the beef on rosemary the bread was so tough I could barely cut it with a sharp knife and trying to chew it was impossible, I tried cutting the sandwich into edible bites which just sent everything flying trying to cut through the bread..The cheesesteak and the beef sandwich ended up making both my husband and I sick to our stomach about an hour after eating and continued for several hours. We had no prior upset before eating. Have decided that we will not return it was the worst experience the order wasn't right with tip the meal was over 35$ . They didn't even care enough to offer to replace or re-do the meal offer to give credit or coupon. We were pretty irate to say the least. There are plenty of places to eat at but we had chose Mike's because we had a coupon which is not good on the bigger subs just the regular which also made us mad. We've tried to make this place work for us but today was the last attempt. Over the last year we've run into several problems with them. They always insist on trying to prep all four sandwiches at once but they forget what's what half way through. They push "Mikes way" then make comments about how I ordered mostly Mikes way with a dumb look on their face. We walked in one day and they said they didn't have bread!! I'm not joking! It was 1130am. They're consistently too slow. They push for a diverse staff but all of the diversity is smashed together at the register adding lettuce, never cutting or cooking hot sandwiches. It's unrefined, its kind of sloppy, things fall out of it as you eat. its great. this is assuming you get your tuna sub 'mikes style' in which the sub is given a good dose of vinegar/salt/pepper. i like to add tabasco sauce (but then again i add that to just about everything UNF!) so yeah, again, this is dangerous now that i know there is an epic tuna sub within my reach during lunchtime. panera's tuna SUCKS in comparison. subway is kind of meh. jasons deli makes an okay tuna melt. i could compare more tuna sandwiches in the area (thats my favorite sandwich [yes i know thats kind of creepy {yes i know my mercury levels must be out of control}]) but i wont waste your time because this one pretty much tops the list. *for this area* i dont want to infringe on more legit tuna hotspots in hampton roads. but thats another story... read more
