Great sandwich. Went today to support their charity day. Friendly service. Donated extra to a great cause.

Giant Chipotle Cheese Steak on Parmesan Cheese Bread Miss Vickie's BBQ Chips

I'm not going to lie, this is my third time eating Jersey's Mike and this probably has made me a believer. The good - the sub itself is chef kisses! The chipotle Mayo and onions just make this thing a little heaven in your mouth. The parmesan cheese bread really did it for me. The chips weren't bad nor were they anything to brag about but they got ate nonetheless. The Bad - I placed my order online which was easily done but the wait time was quite ridiculous, 50 minutes. Are you telling me if I came in person, I still would've had to wait almost an hour for my order? The location, while the location is nice, finding it was a little difficult in my opinion, the gps basically had me drive past it multiple time and eventually parking behind the building and walking up like I was one of the residents from the adjoining apartments. The price, my entire order came to $23. Maybe I'm just from a time where I'm use to my foot longs being $5. How does my order coast more than my 5 guys order? I wanted to give them 3 stars but that sub was just too good.

Love the decor!

I always look forward to writing reviews for parks and original, locally owned restaurants and businesses; writing about an experience at a nationwide chain is not something I rush out to do. However, chains warrant honest reviews too--especially when one is treated to subpar or exemplary service and food. I share the following with you about my first visit to Jersey Mike's Subs. The first thing I noticed upon entering was the fun décor; the interior has a Jersey shore beach vibe going on and I dig it. The print on the wall says, "Point Pleasant," which is the location of the original Mike's Subs founded back in 1956. Adding to the fun, lighthearted atmosphere is a friendly crew. Jersey Mike's is known for its customer service and dedication to making everyone who visits feel like a regular. When we walked in (myself, my three boys, and a friend of theirs), I told them it was our first time and the staff took the opportunity to tell us about the menu and had lots of patience as we made our selections. Basically, there are cold and warm subs along with wraps; the warm subs -such as their infamous cheesesteaks- are cooked to order right in front of you. It takes a bit longer this way, but who wouldn't rather have fresh ingredients cooked to order over microwaved limp meat? Their sizes are giant (14-15-in.); regular (7-in.); and the mini (5-in.). We all went with the regular, which was plenty big enough. My youngest had the kid's meal and I believe that is even smaller than a mini; it also comes with a cookie and drink. He said he wanted salami on his but I knew he isn't a fan of spicy so I tried to talk him out of it. The staff said they could give him a sample to try and handed him a nice, big piece. I thought this was awesome customer service and something I wasn't expecting. (Okay--so he loved it and said it wasn't spicy. My little boy is growing up!) When it comes to an amazing sub, it's all about the bread. If you're used to the cardboard-like, tasteless glutenous items served at places such as Subway, then you're in for a real treat at Jersey Mike's. My first bite blew me away with the freshness of the bread: soft, chewy, and full of homemade bread flavor. Not only was my tongue tantalized, but the aroma from the fresh sub roll made me smile. Needless to say, the bread itself won me over. One of the staff people told me Jersey Mike's makes all of the bread at their main location and ships it daily to each location. By doing so, they guarantee a uniform bread. If the stores each made their own bread, the taste would vary from store to store due to different water sources. I got a regular chipotle cheesesteak ($6.45 for the sandwich alone or $8.64 for a combo) with mushrooms added at my request with no extra charge. It comes with a chipotle mayo but it wasn't spicy in the least; I should have added jalapenos to it. The taste was fantastic, though, so no complaints from me. Some cheesesteaks are filled with meat that can be tough and/or chewy but this was perfect. You can't go wrong with a cheesesteak at Jersey Mike's. Next time I'll have to try one of their cold subs. As we were finishing our meal, one of the staff asked how we enjoyed the food and when we raved about it he said, "Good. So I assume you'll be returning?" The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and that is a dying skill in fast food restaurants. Kudos to Jersey Mike's for offering customers quality food with excellent customer service. I shall return!

Decent subs. Fast and friendly. Order extra mayo or sauce if you don't want a dry sub. Decent value. Clean appearance.

Great selection for people that can't have bread. And the salt levels are great for people who are on lower sodium diet.

Does this location have the drive thru for online orders?

Kylie, thanks for contacting us. I am sorry, but it does not. The only location we have with a pickup window is our College Dr. store, in Suffolk. Thanks for your business and I hope you enjoy/enjoyed your sub.

This is the best seasoned chicken sandwich in the 757. But I'll get back to that. Chesapeake's…read morelittle town center area has really stepped their game up and there are several good options for food and this is one of them. Parking is plentiful as it's in a strip mall, and we were able to self seat a party of 7 with no problem at all on a Saturday evening. The service was doing their best, but they definitely could use one or two more employees because the person making all the desserts (and there was a line JUST for take out dessert orders- because it's that good) was also the same one that needed to take our orders before we could sit down. I felt bad for her because she was working really hard on two very busy stations. The ambience is super casual so no need to dress up. So now lests get to the star of the show. This is the best chicken sandwich out and I'll put it up against anyone I've had anywhere. Well seasoned, tender, perfectly fried. The buns were potato bread so super soft, the sauces are fantastic and the variety of sandwiches is just enough to have a good amount of options. The fries are also delicious. À la carte so they are sold separately, but the portion makes it worth it because THEY ARE NOT STINGY! Flavor packed and great value for the cost. Last but not least the homemade custard is TOP TIER. Best I've had since i left Jersey back in the day. This place just took the top spot for chicken sandwiches for me and i can't eat to try more flavors.

A great fried chicken spot!…read more This restaurant offers a great selection for fried chicken sandwiches, lots of unique options! The fries are also good no matter how you get them. I love the selection of sauces, they really make the meal! The only negative thing about this restaurant is every time my husband gets a sandwich that comes out piping hot and my chicken tenders come out barely lukewarm. So much so we've once asked for replacements, which the staff was so great and accommodating. Very chill vibe, clean tables, and they're always playing great music. We always dine in when we stop by. The custard is also great! Love the sauces, love the sandwiches!

Been to Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers a few times and it's always a solid quick food option…read more Customer service was decent and the food came out fresh. The restaurant was consistently busy as soon as I walked in but we were able to find a booth. Very cozy, no complaints on seating. The tenders are a little different from other chicken spots, but the toast is definitely the best part for me. The Cane's sauce is soooo good and the unsweet tea was actually really good too. My mom did say the chicken could use a little more seasoning, but overall it was a good experience and I'd go back.

My visits to the Raising Cane's Chesapeake location were two different experiences. The first was…read morea solid 5. The second was rounded up to 4. The food was equally good both times. I chose the Chicken Tenders Box Combo both visits. It consists of 4 large pieces of tender juicy chicken & true Deep South Cole Slaw prepared with a light sauce, just like I grew up with. Also included were Crinkle Cut French Fries & awesome Texas Toast. I opted out of their Special Sauce, which I am told is delicious by those who like dipping Chicken Fingers. Lemonade, which is really good, was my drink choice. Perhaps the difference in the visits has to do with time of day. The first visit was mid afternoon, having had a doctor's appointment in close proximity. The personnel were friendly & welcoming. What must have been the manager told us we should come back the next week, on their First Anniversary. We decided to support the restaurant on their Anniversary, meeting friends who lived in Chesapeake. The drive from the Shore Dr corridor to Greenbrier at rush hour was much longer than anticipated. So it was in the midst of the dinner hour when we arrived. The restaurant was extremely busy. The staffing seemed similar to our mid afternoon visit, which wasn't quite adequate to handle the dinner hour level of business. It wasn't an Anniversary crowd. My Chesapeake friends indicated that the restaurant was always that busy. The food tray came so quickly that I was still talking to one of their pleasant personnel, maybe a manager. Although we were able to order quickly, very soon there was a long line snaking past our table towards the back of the store. I was shocked when we left the restaurant at the extremely long line of cars waiting to go through the drive thru. The parking lot of the restaurant didn't come close to containing it. Told that it was always like this, I understood that the staff must be struggling to handle that many customers at one time. One big complaint on my second visit is that one of their 2 unisex, spacious bathrooms was completely out of toilet paper & paper towels. The soap dispenser had the front taken off, obviously by a patron trying to find soap. The inside replaceable plastic bag of soap refills had been squeezed, obviously in an attempt to get the last of the soap remaining. I planned to tell an employee the state of that bathroom but they were so busy that I decided to just return to my table. Obviously this was a good location choice for a Raising Cane's. But I do think they should increase their staffing level during the busy dinner hours. The location was filled with framed Chesapeake History. It was fun to walk around and see the articles & pictures. One was even a page from the 1955 Oscar Smith High School Yearbook. I'll return to this location both for takeout after a doctor appointment or to meet my Chesapeake friends. But I'll definitely leave earlier or take a different route. And I look forward to the opening of their planned Lynnhaven location.
