Jersey mikes steak and cheese and onions and at times mushrooms and green peppers by far the closest steak and cheese I can get without being in my hometown of Philly. I truly need to start the anti steak and cheese with all the lettuce and tomato and and all the other heinous items they have to put on a steak and cheese. Please people don't waste a good steak with all the salad crap, if you want that go to wegmans. Overall this location does it well. read more

First time here and I had The Super sub: which consists of: Provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolooverall; I added everything except mayonnaise (lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, banana peppers & their seasoning) they don't toast bread either which I wish they did or at least do it if customer request for it. Overall the sandwich was not bad, I should not have added any vinegar and oil and if you don't tell them they drench the heck out of your sandwich but I guess most people like it like that but I prefer my sandwich not to be too sour. As a native New Yorker, I am super picky when it comes to my sandwiches. I'm a huge Blimpie fan for their fresh sliced meats and cheeses. I gave this place 3 chances, and each time they failed. First time was my initial visit. The line was almost out the door, but for a sandwich place this isn't uncommon especially in my area during lunch hours. I wanted to give the place a chance and waited through it. Thirty minutes later, I finally had my sub, and was on my way. Food was okay quality, nothing special, customer service was again okay. A manager was handing out "Free chips & drink" coupons. Second visit I go a little earlier to beat the rush. There was only one other person in line. I go to place my order, and they state that the grill was full and it would be 15 minutes minimum for a hot sandwich. What?!? Why? He stated he could make a cold sandwich in 3 minutes. If I wanted a turkey sandwich I'd to go subway or make one myself. I'm there for HOT food. I decided to wait, 25 minutes later, I had my sandwich in hand and left. I get back to the office only to find out my sandwich was the wrong one - luckily I was fine with it, as I ordered a chicken cheese, and got steak n' cheese. Took forever, and was wrong, strike 2. I went to the area again with a co-worker. Originally intending on going somewhere else until we discovered they were packed. Walked by Jersey Mike's and saw that it was empty. Okay, final chance. I placed my order again - Chicken Cheese, no onions, no peppers, light mayo. It only took them about 5 minutes this time - Great! Get back to the office to find out that it's loaded down with onions and peppers. At this point I'm done with them. I decided to go back and exchange it instead of toss out my $8 sub. I get back only to find the line out the door again. I walked to the counter and asked for a refund instead of exchange as I didn't have another 30 minutes to wait. The manager didn't apologize or anything, simply shrugged it off as if it was a common practice of making incorrect orders. Tossed me my money and I was on my way. I'm done with them read more

Love Jersey Mike's. They are a much better value than Subway, which is getting pricier and skimps on the meat. The Philly Cheesesteak is so good, there is plenty of meat on it and the meat is seasoned just right and is tender. They don't go overboard on the other toppings - the right amount of cheese, peppers and onions. You can customize of course. Chicken at sub shops can be dicey - I find Subway's chicken to be chewy, other places it's dry. Jersey Mike's always seems to get it right. I'm a big fan of the chicken parm sub. The chicken is juicy, and just the right amount of cheese and tomato sauce. I tend to add oregano for a little bit more flavor. A tip - order online! Particularly if you are going during lunch. Their online ordering via the websites is so simple and convenient. You can customize the subs and give extra instructions. You can also pay online. The order is ready when you get there. Oh - and subs are 7" and 14". For $6.75 (chips and drink are additional) it's a great value and a great product, read more

Jersey Mike's is alright but just didn't stand out to me. In general, they have straightforward subs at normal prices, but made with very good, freshly cut meat. There's also a little showmanship going on during the meat cutting and the sandwich preparation, which is fun. On the non-fun side though, the "Mike's Way" fixings, to me, were overkill on the vinegar and oil -- my sub was dripping heavily. read more

Food is fine. Bizarrely rude employees. One male employee stared straight through me the entire time I walked up to the counter. Didn't respond to me saying hello. I was literally waving to him standing 5 feet away and he didn't say anything. Maybe high af? Female employee came out and was also rude, but at least capable of basic communication. I was close to pointing out their behavior, but I had my daughter with me and other customers walked in so I just decided to get out of there. I'm from New York /Northern jersey area so I know what a good itsalian sub is. This place comes pretty close to the real thing. If they used boars head meats it would make them much much better.I ordered a cheese steak the giant size.Unfortunately the meat was severely lacking on the sandwich.I felt like I was just eating bread so I took all the meat from one half and put it all on the other half and just ate it like that. For 12$ I would expect more meat, seems they use the same amount of meat for the large or giant size,but the taste was superb! Overall good quality if you want a decent sub, most def a step up from subway for the same price. The worker was very rude who was cooking my sandwich, like I was severely bothering him when he had to cook my food, no matter how good the food is I will never return to this location because that fact. read more

I have been getting the giant subs from here at least twice a week for the last two months. For the last week the bread has either been stale or overcooked. I went in on Wednesday and had the rudest blonde haired girl help me. She really should not work with the public. I am very disappointed in their service and sandwiches. They used to be the best around. Unfortunately one extremely rude person leaves a very negative impact on customers. Went in based on a ton of recommendations from friends. A bit disappointed in selection. They can't heat up the cold cuts and they don't have soup. The deli guy recommended a cheesesteak so I went for it. He gave it to me with no bag, just wrapped in foil and took it to go. The bread was hard, crumbly, and not fresh. That immediately ruins any sandwich. The inside of the sandwich was passable, but nothing special. The service was good, but the product and selection is lacking. It's all about the roast beef. Sliced fresh and a perfect medium rare, just as it should be! This isn't the most convenient location, but the service has always been good even when I've walked in one minute before closing. Man I am so glad they put a Jersey Mikes in the same plaza I work in. I had only had them once before in Texas and wasn't impressed but NOW--I will never eat at subway ever again. Fresh sliced meat when I order-sub seasoning and o&v just like back in Jersey not to mention a really great roll. The prices are right, and to be honest I think the subs are worth more than they cost :) The chichen cheese steaks are incredible also but I'm kind of stuck on their Tuna or their #9 club---no complaints what so ever! The staff is very friendly and accommodating (as a vegetarian, I asked if they had sliced cheese prepared, but they didn't and need to sliced it It's clear that the staff has been trained to work efficiently. I've been here multiple times and each time the staff has been amazing. On the most recent visit, October 5, there is an overwhelming presence of fruit flies. They are in and around the soda fountain - even landing in my cup from the fountain mouth (the staff took care to give a bottled drink as a replacement), flying around the vegetables and being a general pain. Management should really take steps to eradicate this. I would give a higher rating of there weren't bugs flying around everywhere. read more

I stayed at the Hyatt hotel across the street. I made it to the store 10 mins before closing and ordered the # 9, requesting a side of the red pepper. Upon arrival to my room i was dissapointed to find no red sauce. I called them up to let them know. Initially they asked me to come back to get it, but since they were closed they offered to deliver to front desk, which was convenient for me.
