Great location. I've been coming here for years- at least once a month and almost weekly during the pandemic. They're accurate, fast, and friendly. Ingredients, especially bread, are always fresh. Bread is excellent- great chew and slight crust. I can't be certain, but they open a few minutes early (at least the last few times I've gone at opening- yes, at opening). Plenty of indoor seating (booths and bar stools). Fast casual- dine in or take out. They offer toasted sandwiches now, though I prefer non toasted. Order through their app to accumulate points for freebies. I love their turkey tom with bread and also unwich. Italian is also great. Kickin ranch is yum with unwiches. read more

Annoying service and poor communication make for a bad visit. No medium drink lids so they want to up charge you to a large for their lack of supply. Sounds like a customer satisfaction issue... I wonder what the lost opportunity cost of people like me swapping to free water from a meal deal.... Is it worth it? Wanted to just sit here and work while eating a sub at lunch but couldn't. There is a value vs. quantity metric that plays into the Jimmy John's I had today...the subs were very light on the meat, but they were cheap and tasted great. So, it smells great due to the fresh baked bread. The sandwich prep is super quick. Because the bread and meat is fresh, it's a great tasting sandwich. Now the "but..." If you don't like mayo, tell them to go easy on it...or else they are going to pull out the thick knife and slather it on both sides of the roll like a Latino making a torta. They like their mayo here. But that part is a personal preference, I get it. I got two sandwiches, the BLT and the slim turkey. The slim sandwiches are supposed to be same as the standards, but with no veggies. There was hardly any meat in my turkey sandwich and even less cheese (cheese was extra). I know I got the slim, but I expected to see folds of fresh meat piled on a fresh bun but there was very little content to my sub. The upside is it was only $4.29 + .75 for the cheese. I had a similar experience with my jjBLT. I had the BLT and added hot peppers. When I unwrapped the sandwich all I saw was roll...no filling thickening it beyond the bread. I was hoping it'd at least be chock full of fresh tomatoes and lettuce...I understand that bacon is more pricey. While light on the filling, it was very good. I can't lie. The bacon was cooked perfect (not fatty, not burnt), the hot peppers were great, and while I would have liked more tomatoes for $5.29 I'd get another sandwich there for sure. They charged 25 cents for hot peppers, which I thought was odd. I'll have to try a true Italian or other sandwich to see if it's bigger. It seems that a Subways, Quiznos or other deli will get you a bigger sandwich, for more money. But JJ's will give you a better tasting sandwich for less cash. One more ding - I didn't see any kid's meals here. You can get two kids a slim and let them split it I guess, but some mini-sandwiches that come with milk and a side would be a good addition. Give it a try, and if you don't like it...go next door and get the Cuban special at Williard's. That sandwich is the bomb! OR go find yourself a Jersey Mike's! Now THAT is a true sub with a fresh roll, fresh ingredients, and piled high...but it's double the price. read more

I am not quite sure what has happened here. This JJ's used to be a place where you could get a reasonable, reliable sandwich meal. My most recent visit, however, was disappointing. No problems with the service or the staff, but the sandwich itself was terrible. The bread wasn't the reliable JJ bread, and the components tasted way off - so much so that I threw out half of the sandwich. I'm not sure if it was the meat, oil, or vegetables, but it had an almost chemical, plastic flavor. I've noticed evidence of other cost-cutting moves, so I'm wondering if they've cut some corners. I'll be eating at a different JJ's soon, so I'll make a comparison to see if this is chain-driven or just a local problem. In the meantime... I'd recommend skipping this place. read more

I had a delivery from this restaurant location which was delivered to the wrong house. The managers refused to deliver to the correct house. I am still awaiting refund. But I'd say just save yourself the frustration and cost of delivery. read more

FREAKY FAST DELIVERY. Yeah, I like to think so. I order from this location about once every two months. My go-to is the #16, Club Lulu. Every time I order from this place I typically get my sandwich somewhere below the 15 Minute mark. Once it was at 12 minutes. TWELVE MINUTES. I ordered online today for pick up for two subs, a pickle and a cookie at 1:30pm, and let me put down: I did not know you could customize a sandwich that much. For real?? I minus'd the lettuce, added onion, hot peppers, cucumbers and Genoa salami. For real. It was AMAZING. I'm definitely ordering online more. Overall. I think the store is clean. I didn't really look when I went in for pick up. The gentleman at the counter was polite and professional. The order was ready for pick up when I got there (2pm). I wish I had a Jimmy John's closer to my house, but then again- my wallet probably wouldn't appreciate that. read more

I went in here to get some lunch tired of Subway. Jimmie John's is definitely a step above for very little more. The people greeted me right away. They were courteous and took my order of a Vito and a Bag of chips. Cost $8.56 cheap these days. The sandwich was made and ready in under a minute, they have it down. Plenty of meat and other ingredients. The bread is excellent with a hard crust and soft inside. I got the store brand regular chips, obviously kettle cooked and excellent. This is big... I'm giving a 5 star rating! It is rare for me to give a 5-star, but I really couldn't find anything wrong with Jimmy John's! The bread was fresh and soft, my #12 Beach Club came out 'freaky fast', and it tasted good. I added bacon and it came with 3 strips of thick and crisp goodness. I love shredded lettuce, too! I have ordered from them several times. I promise you, I am pretty sure I placed our most recent order online, went upstairs for a minute and heard a knock at the door! It was so fast I was cracking up and had to explain to the deliver driver why I was laughing so hard lol. He said they probably had my sandwich made before I even shut down my computer! I totally believe it. All in all, pretty standard sandwich fare here...being hilariously fast definitely helps separate them from the other gourmet sandwich shops popping up. Consistently excellent service and food. A favorite of mine that I frequent weekly. Standard, spacious, clean and wide open restaurant. I prefer Jimmy John's to other similar shops like Jersey Mike's because of the better quality of bread and special ingredients such as true Avocado unlike the gross paste Subway uses. They also have the only truly spicy Jalapeno kettle style chip I've found. I actually have to take a drink and pause every few chips. Still a little lettuce heavy like many of their competitors so I frequently ask them to go lite as it's just filler to take away from the sandwich. Cost is cheaper than Mike's but more than Subway. Fair is the best word to use. The staff at this particular restaurant is the reason I am regular though. The manager for most of 2013 and 2014 is Damien Smith. He is personable, smart, and his staff seem to like him. It adds to this specific locations as others just aren't as fun. I occasionally have goofy request like asking them to draw silly pictures or write funny jokes on the sandwich wrappers and they always come through. They know me by name and always greet me genuinely and appreciate my repeat business. read more

I Love Jimmy Johns but this location is awful. Employees were not friendly and did not greet us like other Jimmy Johns. My mom requested avocado on her sandwich, it didn't have any on it, then when she asked to have it put on there the employee tried to say it was under the cheese and it clearly was not. Here is the reason I wont be patronizing Jimmy John's again....LEO's take a listen: Last Sunday I was working an overtime assignment and I was hungry so I slid into the Jimmy John's in Chantilly....yes I was in uniform. The place was empty aside from the 3 employees, not a single patron. As I walked up to order a girl from the back yelled out "You should get #17". I already ignored her because I knew the sandwich I wanted. Paid, got my change and drink cup. Filled up my cup and was handed my sandwich by one of the guys. The girl from the back again yelled "You should have tried #17". The 2 other employees giggled. I said I wanted something with peppers but thanks and walked out. Drove around the corner to my assignment and got curious.....whats #17? So I pulled up the menu online to read #17-The Ultimate Porker. I then proceeded to write a strongly worded email to Jimmy Johns. Obviously I didn't appreciate what that dipshit employee was insinuating. Yesterday in the mail was a $10 gift card..no note, no apology....just the gift card. I'll be donating said gift card and I know it doesn't reflect that company as a whole but Jimmy John's.... you can guarantee that my FB post just influenced a few people to never again eat your sandwiches again. It is rare to find a sub shop chain with this level of consistent commitment to both flavor and customers. Jimmy John's leads the pack. Tasty bread, flavorful meats, and fresh and yummy toppings. Been a fan since eating at one on a business trip out to MN, Ecstatic they are now a bit closer. Still a bit out of the way for us, but worth the extra distance -- right past a few Subways, Fireside, Santini's, Quizno's, and a bunch of lesser known "deli"s. Yes, they are just THAT GOOD. Been to the new store three times already. Some issues were seen, like the employee that kept playing with their hair, or the soda machine that still doesn't have a water-only lever. Seem though typical of a new store, and I am sure they will correct these and will be as good as the Herndon location. read more

While living in Seattle, having a JJ's right down the block from my office was always a god send. If I only had 10 minutes in between conference calls/meetings, I knew I could run down to the JJ's, order my #16 add cheese and hots, and be back at my desk in time for the next call. And if by some chance I had no time to run down, between calls, I could always go online, or call in a delivery order and within 5 minutes, my sandwich and chips were at my office. Found out yesterday that is now a JJ's just around the corner from my new office in VA. I had back to back to back meetings scheduled from 11-2pm, and was starving. My go-to work lunch, especially when I need food fast! This Jimmy John's location is close to where I work, leading me to order from them on an all-too regular basis. At their fastest, I've had my food delivered under 10 minutes; peak lunch hours can have more of a 20 minute wait time. When I've gone into the location and ordered, the crew has been efficient and friendly. The French bread is amazing, soft without being overly airy or spongey. The bread is baked daily and you really can tell. My favorite sandwich is the #12 Beach club, hold the cucumbers. I also like their Italian night club and club tuna. Overall, this location is exactly what I expect out of a Jimmy John's- great for a quick, casual bite. read more
