I love Jersey Mike's because they slice the meat for your sandwich right in front of you so you know it is fresh. This was my first visit to this location because I had a long drive home and needed a few minutes to relax before the drive. I'm not usually in this part of town. The shop and parking are a little challenging to get to, and it has limited seating. But the food was good and the people are nice. This is another awesome Jersey Mikes in the large shopping center at Arizona(Rt 87) and Ocotillo(a cactus name). The staff of Manager Charlie and submaker Holly are 2 of the nicest people I've met at a subshop. My giant Italian was ready fast with delicious Lays chips and melt in mouth cookies. I ordered online for pick up for a reason, but I understand things happen. Since I could not wait another 15-20 minutes for them to bake their bread, I just asked for a refund. It took so long to get a refund because the worker didn't know how to issue an online refund. I don't know who or what the issue was, but where is the common sense? No bread a sub shop? This isn't the first time! I ordered (4) sandwiches online through their app. I was given about a 15 minute time when my order would be ready to pickup. I didn't leave my house until after the pickup time. I got there 5 minutes after my pickup time and my order wasn't ready and there were four other people waiting for pickup as well. I ended up waiting until 20 minutes after my original pickup time until my order was ready. On top of all that I only ate part of my sandwich due to the crouton bread. What gets me the most is that they don't stop serving the walk-in customers so that they can catchup on the online orders. Please refrain from grilling people about their nutritional needs. No one should need to present a colonoscopy or bloodwork to be taken seriously or treated with respect. You really wanna hear about my what flour does to my guts, man? LOL. You have no idea what we go through, only to pay extra to eat poor substitutes of the food we miss, we don't need your eyerolling attitudes and sighing on top of it, no less, being loudly taunted in front of a full restaurant, when all of this turns me off enough to walk out. I walk in and ask for a chipotle chicken cheesesteak. Very simple order. It's your number 42. The employee was visibly confused and asked if I wanted chicken or steak. I repeated myself and even asked if I was in the right place because it's such a common order. The sign literally says "chicken cheese steak". Anyways, we figure it out and the employee (taller skinny, brown hair) goes in back and begins yelling to another employee about the situation. Completely talking shit, clear as day. Then he comes out and does the exact same thing to the kid making the chicken on the grill which is 10 feet from me. It was wild. I've never experienced such blatant disrespect when he was the one who didn't even know how to read his own menu. Lastly I get the sandwich and it doesn't have the bacon I ordered or the grilled peppers that normally come on it. No biggie, I asked for both on the side and they're out of peppers. Just would've been nice to know prior to ordering a cheesesteak since they're kinda a staple ingredient. Easy pick up experience with online ordering and good sandwiches! The employees were all wearing masks and gloves so it felt safe to go in. I had the turkey and provolone sandwich Mike's Way and I really do think the bread here and Mike's Way seasoning puts Jersey Mike's above other sandwich chains. It always just feels so much more substantial than something like Subway or Quiznos. Friendly staff and sandwiches are always fresh. I only ever order the big kahuna, minus the jalapeños. With this location, it's a hit and miss to get my order right. Sometimes, I'm picking jalapeños out of my sandwich and sometimes I'm not. It doesn't really bother me because the sandwich is that good! Make sure to get extra peppers. Yum! read more

Had an awful experience. When we got home we discovered we did not get what we ordered. I should have expected a problem because at the store I saw the clerk load into the bag 2 regular sized subs instead of a regular and a jumbo. He fixed the problem by giving me another regular sub. Lot's of sub shops in the East Valley and Jersey Mike's is one of the better ones. I eat here at least once or twice a month and never had a bad experience. I always order a cold sub and the meats always are on point and the bread is always soft. My only gripe is this location only has a couple of the Stubborn Sodas from the fountain, while other locations have multiple Stubborn taps. Other than that, keep up the good work. read more
