We got the #56 The Big Kahuna and #17 Mike's Famous Philly and between the two, I enjoyed the #17 Mike's Famous Philly more. The #56 Big Kahuna was sweeter. Not to say #56 was bad or unpleasant, I'm just a savory kind of gal. This is one of the more spacious Jersey Mike's Subs I've been too. When shopping at a local clothing store in this plaza, I found myself feeling a bit peckish. I stopped in for a tuna salad sub sandwich as I enjoy from time to time. Jersey Mike's makes an excellent one and love their bread! Definitely choose them over competitors due to friendliness of their staff, and freshness of their product. Their dining area was clean and comfortable for a quick bite. Definitely return when in the area to this location or other locations in the valley. read more

I typically get the #7, turkey and provolone with a spread of mayo and then tomato and lettuce but not today. So after watching the person help with register, touch a few other things with her gloved hands I asked her to put new ones on before touching my sandwich. She said she would also wash her hands to which I said thank you...I know I annoyed her but it's my sandwich. Had to skip the lettuce today...as I told her it looked a bit suspicious, brown and slimy looking...brought my sandwich home and added lettuce and pickles to make the best sandwich! I love me some Jersey Mikes BUT... Every time I come into this location it's so dirty behind the counter. The slicer is always dirty. I would understand if there was crowd but every time I go it's empty. I had a hair in my sandwich one time, no biggie I took it out. The bread they use for my sandwich is always stale. They grab the slices that's been sitting by the slicer. Tonight I walked out after I watch the worker with his gloves on that was in the back dealing with a dolly or garbage and wiped his nose. He noticed me then walked to the counter and grabbed a bread next to the dirty slicer. I just thought to myself "CHANGE YOUR GLOVES!" I love Jersey Mikes. This location has been good but now there are clowns working there and it's annoying. I stand there with no greeting as they finish up an online order and talking and laughing to each other. I give my order, then they all stand in the back talking for two minutes then he comes out and starts making it. I was the only one in the store. So dumb. JM in a very convenient location on Chandler just east of the 101. Property is very clean with plenty of seating. Service by new Manager Alan was excellent. I had a regular sized Club Supreme Mike's Way with extra mayo. It was delicious, best CS I ever had bursting with flavor. Highly recommended. We've been a loyal customers of Jersey Mikes for 4 years plus. We usually purchase a sub every week, rain or shine. We split living locations between AZ and Reno, NV. Back in Reno the Jersey Mikes is owned and operated by 1 Mgr. So between the 6 or 7 it's the same Mgr. Real nice guy and places are consistent. So if you purchase at 1 spot the sub will be made the same everywhere else at Jersey Mikes in the Reno,Carson City area. Now that's great. They put 2 layers of turkey on all their subs with turkey. Solid full of turkey subs. Now here at this Jersey Mikes in the past 2 weeks for us has hit bottom. We've been coming here for the past 4 years every week till we head North for the summers. Last 2 times they reduced how much turkey on my giant sub. Last week they put 1 layer and then filled 2 spots that were lacking. They used to fill it 2 rolls of meat. So same cost less meat and even the portion of lettuce was way less. Can't understand their motive. Less meat, less lettuce, thin slices of tomato. 2 less loyal customers. We'll drive to Tempe and try the one on Ray Rd just west of I10. Hope they keep up the tradition of Jersey Mikes original quality of subs. read more

They had so many orders they didn't pay attention to my requests and my entire order was completely wrong. The workers seemed overwhelmed and I couldn't even tell you if the food was good because I couldn't eat it because stuff was on it I can't eat! Ordered two sandwiches. The original Italian had way too much vinegar. I watched the guy, and he did all sandwiches that requested vinegar that way. So if you ask for it, ask for it "light" and cross your fingers. The meatball good. Not great, but good. Doesn't really stand out from meatball subs you can get elsewhere. "Stubborn" sodas are very nice. They took my advice! I suggested they get some sort of craft soda, and they did! Kudos there. Final analysis, the Italian with the vinegar was 2-star. Bravo! These are the hoagies I am used to. Yes, we call them hoagies, not subs. My first stop at Jersey Mike's since I've been in Arizona for a year was just about five weeks ago. My brother in California told me to go. My brothers name is Mike. We are both from Pennsylvania, less than an hours drive to Jersey. I order the super something. I'm smart, unlike other people who have left reviews that there's too much oil and/or vinegar on the sub. Ask for it on the side, moron. Of course, that might be something that Northeasterners know, and no one else. A real hoagie is never heated Or grilled or any such thing as warmth. That's what Cheese steaks are for. Ordered delivery from Grubhub: a sandwich, and a couple of bottles of Gatorade. The sandwich arrived with two brownies instead of two bottles of Gatorade. I called Jersey Mike's and they said it was their mistake and I was welcome to come and pick up the Gatorade myself. If I were available to do that, I wouldn't have called Grubhub to deliver it in the first place. I don't know how a person could mistake a bottle of Gatorade for a brownie, but a brownie isn't very useful for washing down a sandwich. I would suggest getting your food from people who can distinguish between a solid and liquid, if things like that are important to you. read more

Went here for the first time. Even though I went at a busy time (middle of lunch rush), the crew was quick and accurate in their process. At one point, one of them dropped the scraper blade on the floor. He bent to pick it up and ran into the kitchen area, tossed it in the sink and grabbed a new clean one. Well done. In a pinch this place is decent. It can get busy during rush hour but the staff does their best to get everyone moved thorough the line fairly quick. The sandwiches are not cheap but you do get a lot of food. I don't think the quality of food is anything special but sometimes you just need a sub. read more

This was my first time to Jersey Mikes and I can't say that I was overly impressed. Let's start off with the positives.  They do have good coupons.  When I went in, I had a slew of Buy One Get One Free regular subs.  You will not find coupons so readily available at other chains like Subway.  I'm glad I had the coupon because a regular sub was around $9.  Also, they use fresh meats which they threw right on the grill in front of me which I really liked.  You get to choose your sandwich then choose either white or wheat for the bread.  I went with a two Philly Cheesesteaks at which point the kid behind the counter corrected me 'oh, you mean a #16, right?'  Sorry, this is my first time I don't know the ordering protocol.  I wasn't sure what to do after as I'm used to picking out the toppings.  The guy at the registered signaled me over and I paid.  A few minutes later, I had my sandwiches.  I didn't know I didn't get to pick out my toppings, that's not really listed anywhere.  It would have been nice to have some additional toppings. The sandwich looked good and was OK, nothing to rave about.  It was cheesy, had some flavor, but overall it was very bready.  It was an interesting experience but I don't think I'm sold on the whole 'Jersey subs' idea. read more

It's very annoying to walk into a place that is still open and be told that half the menu is not available because the people working there have shut the ovens off and broken down the soda machines because they want to go home as soon as possible.
