Yikes. The last three times I have tried to go to this location the following happened: 1. Only had wheat bread (at 7PM) 2. Cash only sign up, so couldn't use card 3. Did have other bread, but it was hard as a rock (at 8PM) It seems like this location doesn't want me to come in. They have the chairs on the tables starting at 7, barely looks open and the staff doesn't really seem to care. Last year and before that this was my go to location, but I'm afraid I'm done making the trip just to have to go to a different restaurant because of all these issues. A decent representation of the franchise. I arrived on a Thursday in January just before 5PM and only a few patrons were in the store and there was no wait to place my order. I had the Original Italian with mayo, pickle, lettuce, tomato, and jalapeno. I go the combo and they have the tasty Vickie's chips in BBQ flavor. The fountain offers Pepsi flavors. The sandwich ingredients appeared to be good quality and the flavor were decent. There are a variety of tables (tall or standard height) and most of them were clean at this hour. Trying to get out of the strip mall is so hard with all this construction. So as I was waiting to get out I noticed the flyers and banners for the newly opened Jersey Mike's Subs. Hmm, wait in traffic or give them a try. The choice was easy. Lol Only open 3 days, they had the sandwich assembly line humming in high gear! Watching the different orders being built made it hard to decide which one to order. The all looked delicious. I decided to go with the Italian on a Rosemary Parmesan bun. It was fantastic. For only being open 3 days they had plenty of employees and all knew what they were doing. Asking you what you want on your sandwich, smiling and interacting. Food. Hit or miss. I order on the app. Same order sometimes. Today I reordered salsa verde chicken cheese. The bread was dry and no salsa verde on the special sandwich. It was so dry. Stopped by for a sub instead of making my own at home. Ordered a "Giant" Ham and Provolone on wheat. Watched as person making sub put 4 thin slices of provolone followed by 4 equally thins slice of ham and then moved over to toppings. To say it was a sad looking sandwich was an understatement. I kept waiting for young guy to look at this $15-16 sandwich and realize "oops I must have made a mistake" but nothing. My sad little "Giant" sub was then brought over to another guy at register. I then stated my sandwich certainly doesn't look like the ads or their own pics on wall. Guy at register explains that they only do a run back and forth of meat. I asked him to look because that wasn't what I was being provided and he agreed they made a mistake. At this point they added their "required" meat to the sandwich. I took this said little "Giant" sub home on feasted on mostly bread with what might have amounted to 2 ounces of meat. To make matters even worse, while looking at the sparse meat being put on the sub at the deli, I failed to notice that I had white bread instead of wheat. Certainly far from their ads with Danny Devito. Won't be going back. I suspect I can get a better sub from a gas station cooler section next time and save the wait and frustration and will be cheaper and certainly won't be any worse. read more

Ordering in the store is the way to go. Ordering on the app seems to take forever and no one gets the ingredients correct. It just shouldn't take 18 minutes for a pickup sub. Always tasty and fresh and fast when you order in the store. Prices are high and you so t seem to get points for chips and soda, just the sub. I went to pickup a sub for my wife at 10:50am. I walked up to the door it was dirty, smudge marks everywhere. I walked inside, the food preparation area was dirty, the cutting utensils were dirty. The soft drink area was dirty. The plastic board where they add the vegetables still had remnants of the last sandwich they made. I had to ask the employee to clean the board off before he made my wife's sandwich. The entire food prep area looked like they left it at was at closing time the night before and didn't clean it before they opened. We frequent a lot of Jersey mikes when traveling. I've also gone to this one many many times since it's close and not fried food. Today, the staff was some of the happiest, friendliest, most professional staff I have seen in nearly any restaurant. They deserve to be commended for creating such a wonderful atmosphere. I ordered through the Jesery Mikes App...as I have done many times in the past...but today my order was delivered wrong. The "sub" in a tub was so sparse and lame and was missing chosen AND paid for extras. The sub ordered was lacking items SPECIFICALLY asked for in the notes. When I tried to call the store (15) times with no answer except for the one time I was hung up on and the phone was taken off the receiver. I understand quality control issues...but I should at least have the option of getting my $ back for an incorrect order. I was able to be driven into the location ordered from but was told by the employees (because there was no manager available) that they didn't know how to issue a refund...that I had to request it via the app and that they had no idea who the owner/operator was. Sorta sad. All this was irritating to say the least but more so due to my illness and handicap being particularly worse today. I chose delivery to make thing a bit easier for me and my family. This location has consistently been ridiculously terrible. Tonight, I used a "free regular" coupon because the last time I ordered to go a portobello cheesesteak to go, I did not think to open & unwrap until I got home to see a cold roast beef sub. The lettuce was literally frozen to the sides of the stainless container but also was enough for maybe a half a sub. I asked if they had any "fresh" lettuce and was brought a large plastic tub and both male teen employees laughed and said: "Looks the same. Like yellow and slimy." I attempted to order a #7 sub sandwich. I asked them to heat up the meat, (due to pregnancy) they said they couldn't accommodate that request because of cross contamination. (Yet, they serve other hot sandwiches!) I have ordered a #7 sub at multiple Jersey Mike's locations, and have never been refused that request before. read more

My husband and I visited the Cumming Hwy restaurant location Friday evening, September 27, 2024. The young lady was amazing and helpful with a pleasant and professional disposition. The young man with glasses and dark hair was extremely rude! I asked the young lady if they remembered to put pickles on my sandwich and the young man responded, "It was on the ticket, wasn't it?". Loud enough for me to hear and extremely sarcastic. The young lady looked embarrassed. She handed me a side of pickles and I smiled and thanked her. So, now that we're home...no mushrooms on our Big Chicken Kahuna...which comes with mushrooms. How many times have we all placed an order for food and it wasn't as ordered even WITH the details on the order form. Not only have I ordered multiple times from this location for the approximately 10 ladies in my office, but I have also visited with family and friends...and I always leave a tip...even today because why punish the young lady because of the rudeness of the guy! I spent over $40 just today...not including the tip. My $ and I won't be back...there are other locations. I'll drive farther for better service...I work too hard to spend my $ with someone who doesn't appreciate it. So VERY unfortunate. Not sure why this place is rated so low. The service was great and the employees had been very nice to us and even triple checked everything for my sisters gluten allergy. the subs are made with absolutely zero care. out of all the jersey mikes i have been to, this is by far the worst. every other jersey mikes has been lovely. the main concern is the fact that they refuse to shred the meat. all the other jersey mikes in the area have absolutely no issue doing this, but for some reason this location does. A few of the employees have awful attitudes. The subs are just thrown together with meat and with no care. I don't recommend going here. The employees at the other locations are amazing and have wonderful attitudes and the ones here don't. read more
