The food quality here has gone from the best to the worst in the last year or so. Every time I come back, I hope for the plump nice looking wings and freshly cooked perfectly seasoned fries. Today I went again, hoping for the quality that Zaxby's used to be known for, as that was and should be the standard. I was ordering some food on a Wednesday night June 26 and an employee was giving me a rude look when I was taking a picture with the Mr beast cardboard and then he began to yell at me. I am so disappointed and they were talking bad about me and my cousin. He was yelling at me from the back and telling me not to take pictures with the sign. I could not hear him bc me and my cousins were trying to have fun but I did overhear him say don't break it ur breaking it. This man was being so incredibly rude despite the fact that we DID not break the cardboard. Being this was my first time in Georgia I wanted to try as many fast food chains I could that I have never heard of. So me, my boyfriend and his buddy were traveling to a local spot for them to ride their four wheelers and he suggested hey lets go to Zaxbys. We pulled up to the drive-thru looked over the menu and decided on what our friend had suggested the Kicken Chicken sandwich meal. Then I noticed a sign that said fried white cheddar bites. Had to get those as well. Kicken chicken is chicken fingers with ranch and tongue torch sauce on texas toast, and comes with crinkle fries and a small beverage. The sandwich was not to my liking based of the overload of sauce pouring out of the sandwich at every bite. The chicken was crisp but overwhelmed in sauce. The fries I enjoyed because they were seasoned and had a nice kick to them. The toast on the sandwich was buttery and delicious. The white cheddar bites were my favorite thing about zaxby's, battered fried and served with a zesty dipping sauce. They also had a soda machine that had about 100 different options which is awesome. Over all my experience was pretty awesome and down rite greasy. I LOVED IT! Can't wait to have a second opportunity to try something else off the menu. read more

I recommend choosing a different zaxby's. Every time we have gone here the portions are very small. We placed an online order today and spent over 100 dollars. The fry boxes for each of the kids meals were tiny portions and they were all still hungry afterwards. The chicken on the salads were sparse and tough. This zaxby's is convenient to our house but next time will be sure to go out of our way to get a better value. read more

I was surprised to learn that Zaxbys' annual revenue has topped $1 billion. That is a lot of chicken and Zax Sauce. I like the prevalence of the Coca-Cola Freestyle drink machines at Zaxbys - that is a good marketing tool for Zaxbys. The menu is simple enough (especially when you are standing at the order station), service is quick even when they are crowded. And it's always nice to be able to top off your drink as you leave! read more

Zaxby's is one my favorite fast food establishments but this location seems to have a problem with fully cooking their fries. So I take the simple route to fix this issue by ordering "extra crispy fries" inside. After watching the cashier tell the shorter cook in the back to make them extra crispy, he rolls his eyes. When I get my food, not only are the fries not crispy, but they are basically raw & mushy. So I look back at the cook & down at my meal, he notices I'm not pleased & starts to laugh. I won't be back again. I don't ever post on here but the quality & service was so bad I couldn't avoid it. Worst customer service ever. We are from out of town and came to visit Uncle Shucks pumpkin farm. We stopped by this Zaxbys on the way home. They made us wait 10 minutes for our food and when we got it it was FREEZING!!! No one ever apologized for the wait. I came back in to tell someone and he said they were just going to "heat it up." The manager told me that with it being late it is either "hit or miss." So basically he is telling me that this is normal to give customers cold food because it is "late." He then caught himself with what he said and tried to back it up by saying "I tell them not to give customers cold food but it is hit or miss this late." After finally getting the food back 20 minutes later... it was the WRONG order. I have never written a complaint about anything before, but this was one of a kind and should not be allowed. read more

A lot of problems at this location. There always seems to be water in front of the Freestyle machine, which is the only way to get drinks there. It has become such a problem that they have put a floor mat down to prevent people from slipping. The only problem now is that the customers are tripping over the floor mat. Also, a north facing patio? Why? It should be south facing. I am also extremely disappointed with the choice of music. They always play this terrible Christian rock music. I find it derivative and a bit insulting at times. My idea of good Christian music is Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky", Jeff Buckley's cover of "Hallelujah", Hossier's "Take Me to Church", Beethoven's "Ode to Joy", among many others. The music played here paints an overly simplistic view of faith. I am disappointed that any business would treat their customer's faith with such callous disdain. I suggest you take your business to the location in Riverstone. It is a 60 second drive north on 575 and they are far more caring about their customers. ***UPDATE*** This location seems to have resolved a lot of its issues. They no longer have water all over the floor. They also change up the music on occasion. I suggest giving them a second chance. read more

I use to work at the one in hickory flat for a few months and during that time met the owner of the Cherokee county franchise. Fred knows how to run a really smooth, lovely business.
