Mr/Mrs Hadley themselves. You pull into the lot, and audibly ask "lol why is there a Cold Stone in the same lot as this place" ... I just can't shake how great Hadley's Banana Date Shakes are. I had to write a review. Fun fact: The difference between a small and large is just 1 dollar! My wife and I were already somewhat full from our breakfast just an hour before, so we decided to split a small. Only 5.99. Nice! I'm not even hungry as I write this review, but man I couldn't help myself from buying one. You just can't pass up a Hadley Date Shake. So rich and tasty. The only qualm I had with the food quality was my initial sunny-side eggs weren't the runny ones I want but rather overcooked like a heathen would order. But once I brought this up to the server, my eggs were replaced in less than four minutes so all's well that ends well. The server was kind of slow in getting my bill and never offered me a refill for my root beer, but it wasn't a huge wait and I ended up not needing that refill. Again, a push. The ambiance was good. It looked like any memorable diner, just with a muscle car theme. There was a lot of tables and it was busy but not overcrowded. I think this would be the place I ate at if I was a frequent Morongo visitor.

Crazy Coyote Tacos is a True Hole-in-the-Wall Taco Shack!…read more If you're shopping at the Cabazon Outlets, make sure you take a little detour to Crazy Coyote Tacos. This little roadside taco shack has been serving up food for years, and it's one of those places that proves you definitely can't judge a restaurant by its appearance. Located on the west side of the Cabazon Outlet Mall, Crazy Coyote is a small, no-frills spot with a very casual, old-school vibe. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall taco shack, but the food is what keeps people coming back. Their homemade corn tortillas are one of the highlights--thick, fresh, flavorful, and made for their tacos. The seating is all outdoors, so be prepared for the desert elements. On a beautiful day, it's a fun and casual place to sit and enjoy your food. But when those Cabazon winds start blowing, you may find yourself doing what many other customers have done--taking your tacos back to the car and eating there! The wind can definitely make an outdoor meal interesting. Don't come here expecting fancy décor or a sit-down restaurant. Come for the good, homemade, flavorful food and that authentic roadside taco-shack experience. Sometimes the best food comes from the most unexpected places, and Crazy Coyote is definitely one of those spots. If you're at the outlets and craving tacos, skip the fancy food court and check out this little hidden gem instead!
