Every time I come through Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, I make sure to stop at Wahlburgers -- and they never disappoint. The customer service here is top-notch. Super friendly staff, always welcoming and on point. You can tell they actually care about the experience, not just the food. Today I kept it simple with a couple appetizers -- the French fries were perfectly cooked, crispy and flavorful, and the fried pickles were ... honestly some of the best I've had. What really makes this location stand out is the vibe. It's right inside the casino, next to a bar area with tons of TVs, so there's always something going on. It's even better when the UFC fights are on -- catching a fight here with good food and drinks is a whole experience. We have come here several times over the years and absolutely loved it! This visit was a complete shock and will not be returning. The burger was as gamey as you can get. It had clearly been frozen. Their meat quality used to be incredible, this was worse then hospital or cafeteria food. I took one bite and honestly gagged. My Husband tried his as well and immediately threw it away. Not only was the meat completely disgusting the bun was hard with no taste. The sodas were watered down. The only thing that was the standard it was previously were the tater tots. The line was to long to even ask for our money back and honestly we both were so disappointed and our stomachs felt sick we just left. I had the Original burger combo with fries, and a Mountain Dew to drink I ordered the Bacon burger, Tater tots, and drink combo, as well as Mac n Cheese for my daughter. Her little sister got the chicken tenders with ranch dressing, fries, and a drink. All was so good! Place was nice and clean in their eating area. Visiting and stopped by Wahlburgers at Morongo -- decided to put my own spin on The Our Burger by swapping in caramelized onions and adding bacon. Let me tell you... 8/10 combo! The burger was juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right. Those onions hit that sweet spot, and the bacon added the perfect crunch. I just wish it had a little more of their special dressing so it was as "saucy" as the photo shows. It's right next to the sports bar -- you order, and they bring it out to you. The vibe here is fun and chill -- perfect for grabbing a bite during a gamet, after the pool, or post-casino fun. Service was friendly, and everything was cooked fresh to order. Now, for me it's between this and Fatburger -- I still love me some chili on my burger. But it's also a win at Fatburger since I can swap in a turkey patty when I'm "trying to be better with eating." The toppings added balance and depth. A thick slice of onion provided a satisfying crunch, but without the overpowering bite some raw onions have. It was mild and fresh, working well with the rich, savory meat. The cheese was the finishing touch--melted just enough to blend in and give each bite that creamy, flavorful "kiss" that brings it all together. I also ordered the onion rings (see my pic), which were thin, crisp, and deliciously crunchy. They had a nice texture and seasoning, though they were a bit oily. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. The ordering line was slow, even though the restaurant wasn't busy slow, part of our order was forgotten. Burger is nothing special considering the price. Tasted like artificial butter on the bread. In n out tasted better for a fraction of the price. We spent over $60 on two burgers and a milkshake, and asked for an extra empty cup. They said they cannot give us an empty cup, as they count each up. I never heard of that before. read more

If you're ever at Morongo, definitely stop and try this place. I had the bbq cheeseburger. The flavor was on point. For once a bbq burger that wasn't overpowering! My husband had the regular cheeseburger, he asked for medium rare it was rare. But he said it was really good. The Wahlbergs have an IPA 7.2 beer on tap, talk about delicious! If I wasn't driving, I would've had more than just a taste test. We watched Sunday night games enjoyed our burgers and had a great time. A definite must try. read more

I can't believe that they charge that much for a burger that doesn't even come with fries and/or a drink. The shake itself was almost $11. All in all, it was a huge let down. Tough to eat here while smelling the smoke coming from the casino. To make matters worse, service is extremely slow and full of mistakes. The cashier gave us a number but didn't note it in the receipt. This resulted in the staff member having to ask each patron what they had ordered. Ended up with the triple sliders pack, along with burgers and a salad for the family. Plus got some French fries and tater tots which were all well cooked. The first time, I ordered the house burger and a side of chili. The burger was ok, but it fell apart immediately. The burger patty was well-seasoned and the veggies were crisp. The bun, though, just seemed to melt and fall apart. I was super hopeful about the chili. I asked for onions and cheese. No flavor at all. I do like the cool green cups for soft drinks. The tomato looks old and the lettuce looks old too ,not very tasty and even the buns are crumbling. Tater tots are OK. Price for everything $22.90. Not worth it. It was comped for me. Shake was soooo loose it was like strawberry milk (maker said he put in too much milk......SO, if he knew that why the Hell did he serve it to me?). Shakes here USED to be $7.95, but now are at a ridiculous $10.95 and smalller than in the good old days. And, the most frustrating thing was that when I complained and pointed out all the mistakes for my order, not a single person bothered to offer an APOLOGY. Where is the training in customer GoodWILL by the manager at this location?
