Pre ordered a sandwich on the app. Time for pick up was almost an hour. Arrived there 20 minutes early. There was a long line but it seemed to be moving quickly as there was a young lady taking orders from the line. There were 4 individuals preparing sandwiches and one at the register. Customers with pre orders and direct orders arriving 10 to 15 minutes after me picked up and yet I still sat and waited. Finally after inquiring twice and told twice they were "dressing my sandwich" I still waited. They really need a better system for their pre orders.. what's the point of using the app if you're made to wait almost and hour for a meager sandwich. The sandwich. I'd rate Jersey Mike's three and a half stars. Service was super polite, quick, and accommodating. I was in and out in about 5 minutes and it would have been quicker if I ordered ahead through their website or app. I had their Philly cheese steak sandwich. Sandwich was good. I had a regular sized sandwich which was plenty filling for me after a day on the slopes. I was hankering for a sub, and not just any sub would do! I wanted to try something different from Subway, found Jersey Mike's, and decided to give them a try. Boy, am I glad I did! It was a really great experience! The staff were all attentive and friendly. I love how the meat and cheese are sliced fresh for you, and I loveeee the thin deli cut. Everything was very cold and fresh and the sandwich was realllllly yummy. They do not have a toaster for the sandwich but they did offer to put it on the grill if I wanted. The subs are nice and big, too! They aren't skimpy with the meats and cheeses the way other sandwich places are. Absolutely loved it and will be back!! read more

Stopped in today for a quick lunch. Cindy was very rude from the get go. No smile. No greeting. Nothing. So, I said "can I have a #7?" to which she wrote it down on her notepad and walked away. She cut a piece of bread and proceeded to start slicing the turkey. She then asked me what I wanted on my sandwich. I asked her "Do you have different types of breads?" to which she rolled her eyes, and picked up two already cut pieces of breads. I told her never mind. She scoffed at my reply and then asked me what I wanted on my sandwich. She then wrapped it and pushed it toward me and walked away. I think I would have had a more friendlier experience from a kiosk than from this employee. One thing that a sub/sandwich establishment should never do is give a customer stale bread. Typical Pocono establishment though, they don't care about the quality of food that goes out because majority of customers are tourists to this chain in Bartonsville, PA and not likely to be reoccurring customers. Same could be said though about the sustainability of such an establishment, sub shop chains that pop up like this in a tourist area are a dime a dozen and not not likely to last after a few years if customer service, quality or differentiation not there. Don't recommend this location with stale bread, small meat, vegetable and condiment portions and prices that do not match the quality that the chain boasts. read more

We watched the line of people come in around lunch time like a flood. There was almost no room for people to stand in line as more and more piled in. However, kudos to the staff here for taking the orders quick and dishing out quality hot and cold subs. It was an impressive display of good service and quality training. We all know that Jersey Mike's is a massive chain. However, they sure do a much better job at dishing out fresh and tasty sandwiches than places like Subway and Jimmy Johns. There are so many quality options on the menu that it can be hard to often choose what you want to eat. What I normally do is make my own sandwich and ask for a pepperoni, salami, turkey and provolone on wheat. Ask them for some spicy mustard and add onions salt and pepper and oil and vinegar and you'll fall in love. On the other hand many prefer the traditional Italian or even a hot sub like a hot pastrami or a Philly cheesesteak. And even though this is a chain the cheesesteaks don't different much here then they do it many of the other local joints in the area. Its a wonderful success story for such a large chain. read more

I ordered over the phone earlier a #7 reg and a#13 Giant., both " Mikes Way" with extra lettuce & tomatoes. When I'm paying for it , I notice that both sandwiches are a "reg" size.I questioned it & decided to take it as is.The girl behind the counter said, I could get a free " Giant" because the order was messed up. Of course, I accepted a free sandwich . At home and ready to eat,all 3 sandwiches had NO lettuce, tomatoes & a drop of dressing on all! The Italian, #13 had only turkey & salami , no other meats! Best subs ever! Just be careful when ordering on line. I don't like oil and vinegar on the sub until I come home. Sometimes they put it on in the shop and you get home to a soggy sub. 1st time in and had heard real Good things about this place so I tried it. Was sooooo good. I'm from Jersey originally and used to love Blimpies!! I had the Original Italian - This was real close to a Blimpie so I enjoyed it to the fullest!! Also had the sweet tea which was great! It would got 5 stars BUT was a little annoyed the 4 employees that were standing behind the counter (chatting cause the place was empty) and the tables had lots of crumbs on them and the floors needed to be swept. Very disappointed at how they not only cross contaminate their meats but how the workers are so careless about properly handling your food from a sanitation standpoint. USDA food inspectors will shut this place down immediately and send them all to training if they knew what I knew. I purchased to two sandwiches from there and the gentleman was was willing to answer the phone, collect payment, write an order on paper by grabbing a pen and making my sandwich all with the same gloves on.... I walked in today, and surprisingly no one was around. I order my sandwich. The meat cutter ask for some assistance, asking a young lady multiple times to come over and sprinkle ( guessing that was jersey Mike's slag) but when the lady came over she slides my sandwich down the line before she got the huge mess of vinger I asked if she could clean up the vinegar because I don't like Vinegar she brought the rag over to wipe down never changed her gloves before digging in the dressings I asked for. As I was telling her exactly what I wanted she keep asking me did I want tomatoes I told her three times I didn't want tomatoes. . I never even mention tomatoes because I didn't want them they look slimmy and you can tell they are no good. The bread is laughable, the purveyor(s) of the cold cuts are an unknown because they are all wrapped in "Jersey Mike's" plastic wrappers, and prices are too high. I dare you to eat the Meatball sandwich with melted provolone without having a "gag reflex". Everything is a soggy, tasteless mess. I used to love coming to this place until tonight. So disappointed. We placed our order in store and they got the wrong size. Usually wouldn't be a big deal and just would've went back for the right size but that wasn't allowed. We lost our receipt so they stated they could not help me. Mind you my receipt was a yellow copy and they kept the white copy. They insisted this was not true and proceeded to be extremely rude during the entire process. Great experience on Friday, Sept 4th at this location. The lady taking the orders was pleasant, efficient and very business-like. She demonstrated that she had a clue by asking questions, making suggestions, and repeating the order...special requests did not faze her. The sandwiches (#56) were the best we have had at a Jersey Mike's...tasty, made correctly, and put together nicely. The gentleman at the register was polite, good-natured, and enthusiastic! Honestly the most pathetic attempt at customer service Iv ever seen. The guy in glasses that took our order literally rolled his eyes as he took our order. He wasn't even the one making sandwiches and he proceeded to go over and complain to another worker right in front of us. He then proceeded to slam equipment around making a big scene and cursing under his breath about how God Hates him. Then we are standing by the counter, as they were making our sandwiches another employee walked over to us with a mop and asked us to move so he could mop the floor..? I called ahead to order when I arrived I wasn't sure if I should stand in line or just be rude and go in front of everyone and say I called in an order, I was rude and went to the front I think they should have a sign or something for those that called in orders to wait here. I ordered a giant Italian sub for me and my sweetheart with jalapenos. I paid was handed the sandwhich and as I headed for the door they called me back over and handed my the jalapenos in a small covered cup hmmm why weren't they on the sandwhich? Got to my sweetheart with the sandwhich went to open up the container of jalapenos and there was a hair in it ugh in the garbage they went.
