It was very busy but everything still looked clean and in order. We got several sandwiches and one salad and all of our order was correct and tasted fresh. Stopped in for a sub, chips and drink. I grew up in New Jersey and was surrounded with superb deli's. When I last lived where I grow up, I found Jersey Mikes to have surpassed Hershey's and other Italian Deli's This store on Route 55 keeps up with the Jersey Mike's standards for quality. I had the Italian (No. 13) Mike's way (lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oil and vinegar, and oregano on white bread--delicious. I got the combo and had Garden Herb Sun Chips with Ice Tea. Great Bargain! The food has always been good. The contract you have with delivery needs work. There must be some fix to them bring able to just decide they dont want or need to fulfill their end of the delivery agreement. If they dont have the drivers who can make the delivery as contracted, they should be fined or made to use another service to fulfill their contracted deliver. read more

I love Jersey Mikes! The sandwiches are always fresh and filled up. I love that red pepper relish. The place is kept impeccably clean and the staff is friendly. I've seen too many reviews that it's expensive, but I did not find that to be the case. You get what you pay for and I always leave satisfied after finishing my meal. About what you would expect in terms of quality. But the staff and manager at this location are less than mediocre as far as fast food employees go, and that's not a high bar to meet. Three times I've orders a club sub from this place and three times they have omitted the bacon. So this time I called and complained and asked the manager to look at the menu and tell me what comes on the club. He said provolone, ham, turkey and bacon. Ok, so we know he can read. So why do they consistently leave the bacon off the sub? The last time when I confronted them they said that a lot of people don't want the bacon so if you want it you need to ask for it. WHAT!? I was quoted much less than what it came to out to be. Purposely didn't order a tray but ordered separate subs to try to save money. When I called in they shrugged it off like they did nothing wrong. I had to feed kids who all were coming back from a funeral. The last thing I needed was to end paying almost double what I had thought I was paying. I am giving them a one star rating not because of the food, but because of the employees of this Jersey Mike's store on 1761 Highway 55, Apex, NC. This incident took place early in March as the event was starting, during the month long "Month of Giving" to support Special Olympics USA Games. As a Special Olympics Athlete, I really appreciated what Jersey Mike's was doing and I was asked to visit this store to show my appreciation and take a pictures with the staff and/or manager. I walked in decked out in my USA Games gear and ordered my meal since I saw they were a little busy. I didn't mind waiting to talk to the manager and I expressed that to person preparing my food. It was mentioned that the manager had just left and I mentioned that's OK. I can talk to an employee and still take a photo so we can post it on our social media page. After eating my sandwich and saw no customers at the counter and only myself and one other customer eating I approached the counter and was met at the counter by an employee that had a bit of attitude when they told me they still had tickets to work on. So I said I will wait and went back to sit down and I worked some more on my sandwich. After a little bit I noticed that most the front counter employees disappeared so I went back up to the counter and was told "most of the employees doing something and were busy". I replied even to take a picture and for me to say a few words. At this point my excitement and joy was gone and frustration sent in and to be honest during the month of March, this store was the worst store to visit. Finally after awhile to employees came out and wanted to take a picture but the words and actions carried attitude with it and I decided that I wanted them to want to be in the picture and not be doing just to get rid of me. I have never felt so bad after any fundraiser that I go to a store to thank them for their support and take a picture with the employees. For that reason outside of Special Olympics I will never go again as a customer to that store. read more

Had to ask to have a table cleaned. A girl slowly came out and halfway cleaned a table when we asked her to. She wiped all the trash onto the chairs. We had to clean our own table and chairs to the point we could eat. We will not go back to the JM on 55 which is the closest one to our house. Very disappointed. read more

I love jersey mike's. Ive never had a bad sandwich here, the bread is great, and OMG they put SOOO much bacon on the BLT. I came to this Jersey Mike's about 20 mins before closing and they took my order without being rushed or annoyed that I was setting back their closing procedures. I felt bad though because when I was finishing up with my order 5 more people came in with about 5 mins to go before closing time. I would advise anyone that the regular is fine. it looks small compared to the giant but thats because the giant is too big(unless you want more than one meals out of it). the regular is 8in. its like this, the subay 6in is too small and the 12in is slightly too big so these subs(more filling than subway) at 8in is perfect. read more

I usually don't have any problem with my orders there. As usual I asked for the peppers and mushrooms on the side. They put jalapeno peppers in my sandwich. I ordered the peppers on the side because I DON'T EAT jalepenos. My husband will eat a few peppers on his sandwich. That's why we get them on the side. I called to speak to the manager. He wanted me to bring the sandwiches back. I'm 30 minutes away! He said I could bring them another day. I won't be going back that way for a week. Who wants to keep a sandwich for a week? This was one of the worst Jersey Mike's I've been to, usually go to the one on highway 64 which is much better. This locations veggies looked old and bad. The lettuce was very brown. When I mentioned that the lettuce was brown, the person helping me agreed but would not get a fresh bag. The Mayo was littered with onions, lettuce and other veggies - just very dirty looking. The young lady that seemed to be the manager was extremely nice to everyone that was ordering food right before they closed. Jersey Mike's is the absolute best place in the history of restaurants (At least in my opinion.) Everything here is top quality and I just cant express in words how much I love this place. I guess I'll just have to try my best. I suppose I'll start out with the food quality. My vote is 11/10. The fresh condiments add tons of scrumptious flavor to this fantastic meal. There are so many different subs to choose from. From the Philly cheese steak to the Turkey and provolone, there's bound to be something for every taste. My personal fave is the #7 combo with Mike's Way. If I could I would eat that for breakfast lunch and dinner. I don't though because I would get fat ( Even though they claim to give you a full serving of veggies with every regular sized Mike's Way sub, ) and because it is way too expensive to eat out every day. By the way, I should probably explain what Mike's Way is. If you ask for Mike's Way they give you lettuce, onion, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, and spices. It is very good and I would highly recommend it. They have a wide assortment of chips here just like any other sub place but they also have desserts. Brownies and cookies...MMMM! Now I'm hungry! The one and only thing I will complain about here are the drinks. I am a fan of Coke and this place has Pepsi! OMG I cant believe it. They just recently remodeled this place and I have to say that I don't really like the way they did it. Everything is still in the same general place but they moved the trash cans and got rid of the booths. I suppose they did this so there would be more room in the restaurant. The place is still very clean despite this and the people preparing the food are nice and inviting. ( Unlike some certain subway I've reviewed. ) I just love it here! I have always love Jersey Mikes' s, but now I love them just a little bit more. I explained I have a mammal meat and dairy allergy, and they took apart the slicer, used a new washcloth, cleaned the whole slicer, wiped down the counter and cleaned the knife. Subs taste OK, but prices are ridiculously high. For example, a "giant" Italian sub is now $15.25 (just the sub itself). This is supposed to be a 15" sub if bread done correctly, so slightly larger than a foot long. "Regular" subs are 7.5" and with chips and a drink most will run you to around $12 for lunch. Be sure to check the receipt when paying with a credit card. The register says one amount but the credit card machine charges an automatic 20% tip (even if you hit no tip on the card machine). The girl at the register didn't want to give me the receipt. After complaining they took it from tip jar and gave me my money back. We called in an order for two subs Mike's Way. We opened the subs at home and they did not have bacon or mayonnaise on them. Mistakes happen, but we do want them how we ordered them. This is also not the first time the order was incorrect. Mayonnaise is Mike's Way and bacon is standard on a #9 sub, so not sure why the order was wrong. We called the store and they were very rude, mumbled under their breath and asked if I was sure that the sub did not have bacon on it. Accidents and mistakes happen, but they didn't handle the situation in the proper way. I am a regular customer and am very unhappy by the quality of the service. Try Subway...subs are half the price and the employees are not rude. .no need to spend money for poor service and employee mistakes. read more

Today I visited Jersey Mike's subs for the first time. I was very pleased with how good the food tasted. What I did not like was the way I was received by some of the staff members and even customers while waiting in line and placing my order. The guy behind the counter taking my order looked at me in a form of shame and disgrace as though I was not wanted there. As well did the customers in line with me. It didn't take me very long to notice that there was not one Hispanic or colored person at this location working. I certainly understood that I was not welcome in this place of business because of my skin color and appearance. I cannot blame Jersey Mike's subs as the cause of this uncomfortable experience but yet the ignorant individuals that are employed by them. Needless to say I will never be back at that location ever again. I hope that this review opens eyes to the owners and address this issue with their employees.
