I have been here and to other Jersey Mike's around. here at this store. the employees are always courteous and friendly. they always ensure the customer has a pleasant experience. The sandwiches were great as always. I order my subs on line at 11:30 a.m. and got a reply the will be ready in 15-20 minutes. Arrived at the shop at 12:00 and the was a long line my subs where not ready. There was 3 employees one in the grill, one taking orders from people on line and the third making sandwiches. Did not get my sandwiches till must of the people on line where taking care of. I should had jump on line upon my arrival and would had been out of there with my sandwiches about 15 minutes earlier. The pieces of meat and cheese you get are the thinnest slices of meat and cheese you'd ever seen, then, the lettuce was all wet and gross, then tell me why I get to the checkout and the card reader says $19.99 for a footlong #8. That is just crazy to me. I thought this would be a better alternative to Subway but not for $19.99 and the thin slices of meat and cheese, and subway gives you more than 5 pieces. read more

This place is fairly new to the area so we decided to give it a try. Their prices are on the higher end for the area, but we were blown away by the quality of their subs coming from a chain restaurant. We have been back multiple times since then and their subs have consistently been just a good. The staff was also very friendly and helpful every time we have ordered from here. This place just opened a week or 2 ago. It is right next to Kay jewelers. I thought I would give it a try. My coworker said I could order on line and just go pick it up. Since we heard that the lines were out the door I decided on pick up. The order was very easy to place on line. Selections were good. I ordered and my pick up was supposed to be ready at 415pm. Parking is good here. It is in a strip type shopping center. I park and go in. There is six people working in the place and they are overwhelmed with orders. I had to wait an extra 25 mins for my order to be ready. While I was there the line was out the door and people were making multiple sub orders at the counter. The online order machine was printing tickets for orders like crazy. The inside was well done. Nice and new, but very dirty. Someone had cow pooh on their shoes and it was all over the floor. The soda machines were dirty and the place in general was just dirty. There was no way the employees would be able to clean because they were busy making food. I brought the subs home to eat them. They both were really salty and did not have good flavor. I got a wrap and it was incredibly soggy by the time I opened it. We will not order from there again. I will stick with subway or town and country. Maybe it was because they were super busy. My suggestion is to wait at least 2 months before you try it. Let the newness wear off. read more

Just visited this jersey mikes. This is the third time here. First time was fine. Just opened, learning, I get it. Counter was littered with meat, cheese and vegetable scraps. 2nd time was better, somewhat cleaner. Fairly quick service. Today, I walked in, stood by myself at the counter. For approximately 2 minutes, I watched 5 workers ignore me. Another person came in from taking out trash, 3 more folks came out of the back and still no one thinks they might want to wait on the customer. Finally, I waved my hands in the air and loudly stated 'CUSTOMER'. I swear no one turned around or paid attention. The third time, someone asked what I would like. The bread was better than the meat. They listed this as what Italians get at the Jersey shore capicola, ham and pepperconi or some sort of peppered ham. It was all the same meat just with a little different spice on it. Not what we got on the streets shops in Italy! read more

I understand this location is new, which is why I gave them two stars instead of only one. I ordered a Gluten Free sub as I have Celiac and have had friends that have eaten at other locations that have raved about the food and never had any issues. I used their app on my phone to order my food and went inside to pick it up at the counter. There were a few other people in line placing orders and what appeared to be several other orders waiting to be made for pick up - so they were a little busy. One employee checked in with me and then I had a bit of a wait for my food, even after the guy making it put it with my bag, it was at least another five minutes before I could get the attention of a staff member to actually give me my food and as it was a hot sandwich I was not thrilled with the extra wait time. Once I got home and reheated a portion of the sandwich, I found there were some onions on it, which I requested not to have on the sandwich. The bread was not the best gluten free I have had, but it was not horrible and the meat/cheese were tasty. Sadly, I am not sure if it was actually gluten free bread as a short while later I became ill and have been sick the rest of the evening. I do not know if it was the wrong bread, cross contamination or something with the meat/cheese. This was the only thing I had eaten today. So if you have any allergy issues, I would stay away from this location to be on the safe side. read more

Just had the worst experience at Amsterdam Jersey Mike's. First and last time customer as of today. Ordered 4 subs on the website and was told to pick up in 45 min. No problem. Got there on time with 4 to 5 people waiting to pick up sandwiches and 12 people waiting in line to order. It's 3 o'clock in the afternoon on a Sunday. Within 10 minutes, maybe 2 people got their takeouts, and no one in the line had their order taken. Within 20 minutes, three people walked out frustrated. Two more take outs came out wrong. 25 minutes after I arrived my take out was ready minus 1 of the 4 I ordered. Young man behind the counter told me it would be right up. 10 more minutes passed. Asked the young man behind the counter where the hot sub was. There was nothing cooking on the grill, the girl was cleaning it up. He Had no clue. They would have let me sit there the rest of the day if I had not asked. Lost my temper when I got zero help. "Please refund my hot sub". Manager refunded entire order and took the subs from me. "No, just the one I did not get", Manager pushed the bag of subs towards me and said "just take them and don't come back"! Great customer service people. Don't accept orders if you can't get them done in a timely manner. Short staffed and a bunch of trainees is no way to do business, especially after being in the store for almost an hour, and completely forgotten! My wife and I, visited Jersey Mikes, a few weeks, after opening. I, litterily stood there almost 20 minutes, before I, was acknowledged. I emailed, the company, and they were nice enough to send us coupons, for subs. We decided to try again, almost mid October. This time, I had to wait, but not quite as long. We ordered a roast beef, and asked, for extra dressing. The girl, who was making, the sub, put about 2 inches, of dressing on the sub. We sat down, and starting to eat, and my wife almost screamed. She bit into a piece, of plastic, that was actually the tip, from the dressing bottle, plus another small piece, of plastic. I took it to the counter, and she said how sorry she was. We left, and I emailed the person, that sent me the first coupons, and was supposed to send more coupons, still waiting, on them. We happened to talk on the phone to the owner, Brian, who said that, for one, the girl should have remade the sub over. did not happen. He also said, that he would investigate, and get back to us. Still waiting. It was about three months ago, and we are still waiting. read more

You know people are rough. We're still in a pandemic and it's a new location, have some sympathy. Anyway, we waited over a week to try them (common sense) and have ordered every week since. We think it's a great addition to the fast food/restaurant chains up here. Sandwiches are stuffed up and thank goodness because you're getting your monies worth. Had no issues on pick up. Direct afternoon lunch rushes obviously you're going to probably have a wait. Order before your starving so you dont leave a bad review for som thing they cant control. I dont know any of the employees or managers. If someone wants to hook me up with a free sammich I wouldn't say no lol. Honestly though, we tried hot and cold sandwiches. On wheat and white. Brownies are good. Cookies were bigger in the beginning but they're still good. You guys are doing pretty good for all the orders you are being slammed with.
