Slowwwwww Kitchen. Once the waitress came and took our order it was nearly a half hour before we got our food. This is the 2nd time we have eaten here and both times we were disappointed. Once again the food came luke warm, at least this time the waitress brought us fresh fries. The staff are cool the kitchen leaves much to be desired. I used to love going to Jerry's. The service used to be alot better than it is now. The waitress' are very rude!!! And they all act like they are intoxicated! You wait forever for your food and it isn't like they are busy. Don't order the salad there. The last time I went, the salad was brown W/ runny dressing that tasted like water. Jerry's brings back great memories from my childhood of the popular local diner...where everyone in town gathers. The food was a great value at a very reasonable price. Portions were large and fast was great. Best of all was the atmosphere. Old friends gathered and welcomed new friends. If I can vet back this way someday, this will been my list of places to stop. We have lived in Fallon 2 years this month. My family loves Jerry's. Great food, big portions and friendly service.

The staff was more interested in talking to the locals than waiting on the other customers. I asked for more coffee four times, and I was ignored each time, even though they were going around with the coffee pot . I have never had service that bad. When I complained to the manager, he just made excuses for the staff. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know not to go there as well. It's really too bad that the service is so bad, because the food was actually ok. read more

Great food! My husband, 2 kids and I stopped in for dinner after octane fest and our food was great. The ground beef steak was flavorful and cooked just how I asked for it and are you ready for this... The mashed potatoes were REAL POTATOES! the food was all fresh, accept for the frozen green beans, which I happen to like. The atmosphere it a 50's or maybe 60's diner and the older gentleman washing dishes and busing tables couldn't have been a friendlier happier guy. He was great! Now for the bad. Our waitress was a nice enough girl but she sucked at her job. She was smacking on gum, continuously scratching her head and picking her undies out of the butt. She brought my husbands salad and not my soup. when I asked for it she said that she gave it to someone else, because they were regulars, and there was none left. We didn't get 1 refill on our drinks and she didn't even check on us once. The only time she came to the table was to drop off our bill before we even got to order dessert. For this reason they lost a star. If you are ever in the neighborhood I would highly suggest it and hope you get a different server. read more

OK, where do I start. I am 56 years old, and this was the worst place I ever ate. First took forever to get drinks, the place was swarming with flies. the burger I got was so so bad burnt black and oh my god was it dry. IT was horrible I mean horrible! Yes it was cheep to eat there, but not if you can't eat the food. 0 starts would be better for this place. I always leave a really good tip, but this was the first time I never left a tip. When we complained about the flies, the waitress put some tabasco sauce on a napkin, and said " that's how you get rid of flies." I never saw anything like it. Have eaten here quite a few times. The food is pretty good and usually the service is decent. Unless, you have Robin. She is very rude and will snip over your requests to the point that she told one member of our party "I don't have time for that" when he requested salad dressing. I stopped by in Fallon with my girlfriend and I, it was roughly about 1 am on Friday, we were immediately seated and gotten drinks which I was surprised for how busy it was. We got our order taken by a friendly waitress and not even 10 minutes later we received our food and it was really good, to be honest I was surprised judging on how small the town was. We had a decent late night dinner but made a mistake coming back for breakfast. To avoid waiting we sat at the counter. Big mistake. Though staff was bustling and a coffee girl was attentive. It all ended there. I asked for burnt corned beef hash. It came hardly cooked through. I returned it after waiting a long while for attention and had to literally flag down one of the numerous servers that had handled our order. After a very very long wait I finally saw the food come back out. It stayed under the heat lights for 7 minutes before another server asked how everything was. I said, it's still " sitting on deck!". Asked to have meal removed & check. Waited a long while. Flagged a waitress to pay our bill, who gave me a "inna minute". Left cash instead of CC. Couldn't leave fast enough due to hunger and poor counter service. read more

They are VERY RUDE when you call, aren't willing to take an order over the phone, and when you stop in to order to go they are rude. Not OK for a small town. Others were served and leaving before we were served cold, brown scrambled eggs, cold hashbrowns, and a medium steak that was burnt. No one ever came by to ask if we needed anything. Well, the staff was friendly, but a little unorganized. The food would've been great If it was served warm at least. Had to order toast 3 times because it was cold and hard, the last was just warmed bread...not toasted. Our waitress forgot our drinks, and had to get 2 other servers to get the things we needed because she was busy refilling coffee and seating other guests. For many years we have a tradition of stopping at Jerry's on our way home from our camping trips. The service has always been good and the staff only too happy to make all kinds of changes & substitutions to the menu. The food is a solid 3-star, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Went there for dinner Friday night, knowing the town is doing the biggest festival all year they had 1 waitress!!! The place was packed, we got our drinks right away 15 mins later we ordered our dinner with soup and salad as appetizers waited 45 mins for our dinner to be dropped off at our table. Never received our soup or salad then we were informed they ran out of soup :/ so we go to eat our dinner everything was ice cold!!! Needless to say we got up and walked out. I understand it's not the waitresses fault but whoever is scheduling really needs to do a better job or find someone capable. Very good for a diner. We have been here a few times since moving to Fallon and the service is very good. The food is typical diner type food so if gourmet is what you want you're in the wrong place. If you want good food at reasonable prices and huge portions this is where to go. read more

Not only were they open on Veteran's Day, and not only did they serve this disabled veteran a free meal, but they let me order whatever I wanted and that honey fried chicken was fantastic (they gave me an entire half a chicken along with all the fixins)! read more

I went to Jerry's because I was hungry...bad move. Oh, this isn't the first time that I've experienced inconsistent food, aloof waitresses, an air of "take it or leave it" in the kitchen, or the promise that a waitress would be "right back" with my drink - three times - before standing there a fourth with another excuse handy. No, two nights ago I went in and ordered a sandwich...the waitress came back about 20 minutes later to tell me that their printer hadn't printed the orders on time, and therefore, the kitchen didn't get the order. It would be out in "a minute." I started to look around at the 40 minute mark. There I was, sitting there with my Sprite, waiting and waiting and waiting...until the waitress returned again. "They made you the wrong sandwich," she said. They were correcting it - over an hour after I sat down. I just stared past her with a blank look on my face and said, "I'm leaving." She said, "Sorry, have a nice evening." I'm pretty sure Jerry's is going to go on as it has been, because it's just about the only game in town with a 24-hr presence - but if it were up to me, not only would I not patronize it anymore - it would literally be the last place on earth I would sit down to eat at. And the sad part about this dive is, nobody would give a damn. Jerry's could be a good restaurant, but I just think it will probably never be one, because quite frankly, there are no adults in the room, or leaders at the helm - there's just a fog of disconnectedness and apathy so thick, you could cut it with a knife. read more

Me and the wife normally go to jerrys during the day or during dinner but we try to once a month go in an see a bright young lady Sunday or Monday late night. She always makes us feel so welcome an dose anything to make our dining experience pleasant. The Restaurant is always clean and the food is good. Normally our experience with this waitress is great and last night was no different. We came in shortly before she did an was sat down by a woman that to be honest really should cover up. I could see how uncomfortable my wife was with her leaning down with our drinks and everything hanging out. I and my wife were happy when we realised she was off shift an leaving. I am glad we don't have children because we would of most likely left. This is a family establishment not a place for that. So please do us all a favor and button up your shirt. read more

My friends and I arrived at Jerry's after church (as we do every Sunday). They came and gave us our drinks and menus. We noticed people trickling in after we did and we noticed their orders were being taken after we've been sitting for approximately 20 minutes. We also noticed that we were the only people of color as well. Our waitress paid us NO attention, kept walking past us taking everyone else's order and bringing them their food after seeing our menus were closed, and we received our food VERY LAST after our food was sitting on the ready stand for 15 minutes! Our waitress came back to our table just to give us our check. She didn't check to see if we needed anything but she walked to all the other tables consecutively. My friend asked for a refill and she told her that we don't give free refills here. We noticed the check was a bit more than usual and questioned about it and our waitress and the cashier were extremely rude to us. We asked for the military discount and the cashier stormed away from us huffing and puffing and slammed the door to the cash register in front of us and our waitress said "Well they didn't open their mouth and ask so I didn't put it on there." As I mentioned we go to Jerry's every Sunday after church and I've had enough of their terrible service towards us. Very unprofessional and it looks a bit racist. read more
