Great food and great service, highly recommend red chilaquiles (not on menu). Janeth and Vanessa provide best service and willing to customize any order.

Awesome restaurant! We were greeted immediately. Our waitress took our drink order right away and brought everything just as ordered. The single order of biscuits and gravy was huge and the biscuits were warm and fluffy. I got the corned beef which was really delicious, next time I would maybe ask for a crisp on them. I'm glad we found this restaurant . If we had lived in town, we definitely would've boxed up the leftovers!

I have been to most all of the Jerry Bobs locations in town, with the one year Broadway and Rosemont being my favorite. I can safely say that of all the locations, this one -- likely because it is new -- is the cleanest of them all. This Jerry Bobs does not have the lived-in feeling of the other locations. The booth cushions are somewhat firm and tear-free. The tables still have the factory sheen. The walls are bright. There's bound to be country music playing on the radio. There are plenty of wall hangings and are some old fashioned trinkets, a couple of which encourage you to "drink more milk." There also seems to be quite a few fake plants. Wait...maybe they are real. I will need to touch one next time. OK, for now fake-looking plants. Likely because of its location, this place draws a lot of families, especially on the weekends. So be forewarned: The volume level can get high and the wait can be 15 minutes or so. I've been a few times and there always seems to be the lengthy weekend wait, which seems to be typical of most Jerry Bobs. And some folks let their little ones run all over the place. But these things are not unusual. So, yes, with this particular location, there is noting especially different from any of the other locations, other than the fact that it is immaculate at the moment. They've got omelets, hash browns, grits, gravy and biscuits, stacks, waffles, Huevos Garcia, corned beef hash, chicken fried steak and a ton more on the breakfast menu. Thinking about lunch or dinner? They've got Cajun chicken, liver, catfish, beef, sandwiches, salads and soups and a bunch of other things. This location also has a nice sized bar, in case you don't care to sit in a booth or at one of the tables, which always seem to be set for larger parties. They also have daily specials and, on Fridays, a fish fry with cod that runs 2-8 p.m. And the staff is cordial and attentive, though they are old school. So don't get all annoyed if you find someone yelling to you from across the dining hall about whether or not you want more coffee, or if you find that someone is waving you toward an open seat. Remember, this is a family-styled diner. It's all good. All that to say that I imagine that if you have been to any other Jerry Bobs in town, you should expect a similar experience and treatment. And that's fine by me. I don't go to Jerry Bobs for 5-star treatment, or quiet ambiance, or to be pampered and have my ego stroked. I go for the good, reasonably priced home cooking. It's the kind of cooking that reminds me of the brief time I spent living in the south. It's the type of cooking that goes well after a good exercise, especially a moderate hike. And it's the type of cooking you want when you find you're missing home.

I love this place, good breakfast and at a good price made to order who won't love that? Well I went there again today and got the French toast breakfast and loved it again. French toast, warm syrup, blue berries & strawberries, home fries, bacon & sausage, eggs with cheese/onions. MMMMMMM!!! I got my son the Mickey Mouse kids pancakes and he ate them before I even put on the syrup! LOL I would recommend this place, I go off work and during I jus order it.

Decent breakfast (I don't recommend their guacamole- it's the store bought lime green kind - they put it on top of the California omelette - FYI). Women's restroom is often times in need of a cleaning, the toilet seat needs to replaced big crack on the side (looks unsanitary). Staff is always super nice.

The food was ok, Nothing wrong with it. It just didn't WOW me. Which is ok! I'm definitely coming back. I had the green chili and cheese omelet and a single pancake. I asked to add mushrooms to my omelet, and they forgot. I'm not mad and I'm not going to bash them. It's an easy mistake to make. They're so used to the way its made 99% of the time. Its ok. The coffee was good, i enjoyed it for sure. The waiter was very nice, apologized when I mention that the mushrooms were not added, Which i appreciate. In conclusion, this place is cool and has decent food. I'll be Back for sure. Definitely try it and support local owners maybe your experience will be different

After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before our server, Diana, came to take our drink order. After placing it, there was another extended wait before we saw her again. While she was assisting another table, I asked about our drinks, and she mentioned she would be right with us, but it was still quite a while before they arrived. Once we received our drinks and placed our food order, service became very limited. When our food was delivered, both my stepson and I had empty drinks, and there was no acknowledgment or offer for refills. I had to ask, which shouldn't typically be necessary. We also requested pico, which took additional time to receive. Throughout the rest of the meal, there were no check-ins to see how the food was or if we needed anything. The next interaction we had was when the check was dropped off. I understand that restaurants can get busy and delays happen, but attentive service, especially something as simple as checking in and keeping drinks refilled, goes a long way. Guests do notice these details, and they directly impact the overall experience, as well as the tips servers receive. I'm sharing this because I know this restaurant is capable of much better, based on past visits. I hope this was just an off day and not the standard moving forward.

So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. Suffice to say she absolutely raved - placing it on par with many of the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants she has sampled back east. And, we agreed, when Michelin publishes its first-ever SouthWest U.S. edition later this year (2026) I recognize getting a star is a mighty fete but if Tito/Pep does not at least make its S.W. Bib list I will know the fix is in. We started with the Queso Fundido ($13) - with chewy cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and beef chorizo it was a perfect blend of meaty/savory/fatty. We also ordered the Grilled Octopus ($17). What a surprise this was, the crunchy roasted pepper flakes and unusually soft grilled octopus it kicked the pants off of "calamari-style." We inquired and the way they remove the typical rubberiness is by poaching the octopus tentacles for 5(!) hours before grilling. You Go chef Martinez! For our entree we opted for the day's special: deep fried whole Red Snapper for two ($85)... as did about a half-dozen other tables in this intimate 20-tabled venue. See pics as a written description is inadequate. The crisp was excellent and the tender moist fish just beneath, exquisite. The roasted jalapenos were other worldly - somehow only mild heat and with a subtle sweet/acid presence... totally and entirely edible. As fantastic as the vinegar slaw was atop our self-made fish tacos, the tomatillo puree was ridiculous - so fresh and not sour that its scent was nearly as strong as its flavor. We asked again, how?! and were told they first cook the tomatillos for 3 hours. Folks, the effort involved to present this kind of meal would be nearly impossible to do at home for even double the cost. We concluded with the ganache dessert ($12). While so richly decadent it was possibly too rich, only by virtue of its size... it needs to be shared! We were deeply torn over that or the olive oil cake and will opt for the latter... next year, Lol. For drinks we ordered two glasses of their "red blend" (really good for a simple blend) and then the Pie Allen after dinner cocktail ($13) - an interesting combination of prickly pear liquor and port. The staff were amazing - not just in timely attentiveness (a minimum requirement at this level) but especially in terms of being able to field our deep curiosities about several of the dishes. Due to our "layers" of ordering we stayed an easy 2+ hours and were never rushed. Parking will get tight at peak times but everyone will be accommodated. Pre-tip we were at $165 - a special occasion outing for sure but, we both agreed, an (almost) bargain. At this level of quality and degree of effort in Chicago or Miami (places she recently lived) would be closer to $250 for two. Small note: three years ago this began, now it's the norm - restaurants are calculating the tip based upon a total that's After the tax has been added. It's a minor but, nonetheless, unconsented-to, inflation of the tip. Just an fyi :)

First of all, it's extremely rare to find an entire restaurant that does not use seed oils. This is what drew me in when they first opened because honestly, sometimes it's nice to be able to go to a restaurant and know that you won't feel like complete trash afterwards. I also like that they use some organic items such as sugar and spinach as well as grass-fed butter. Secondly, the whole look of the interior is very welcoming. The lighting, the cute neon signs in decorative greenery, the way they hang decorations for different holidays, and even the TV that shows music videos is a cool touch. The staff is very friendly and sweet. I've been three times now, and one of those visits was for my birthday. When I told them that I was ordering the birthday pancakes because it was in fact my birthday, they later brought out a free piece of cheesecake with a candle in it! So kind, especially in this day and age where not all restaurants give a free birthday item anymore. There is a good variety of items, including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, omelets, sandwiches, soup, and burritos. And there are vegan options that are made clear so that you don't have to modify existing menu items if you don't have to. And their green juice is tasty -- very fruity for those who don't like it too taste too much like vegetables. On my most recent visit this weekend I had the juice as well as the Spin'On cheese omelet which was very filling and satisfying. My dining partner had the salmon toast -- we loved the pile of sprouts on top which was a unique touch! Yes, it's true that perhaps they don't use a whole lot of seasonings and spices in the meals. However, some people prefer that. And also, salt and hot sauce are always available for those who feel it doesn't have enough flavor. I like supporting a local business that is willing to offer some healthier options, so I will keep coming back.
