Really rude guy at the counter. He was stingy with his napkins and seemed annoyed. For the pizza: He burned it in the oven when heating up our slice. We told him that he probably left in the oven for a bit longer than he was supposed to. He was extremely pissed and said, "that's how the pizza should be. Two minutes extra in the oven doesn't make a difference." It DOES. lol. He proceeded to say that the rest of the bottom of the pizza is the same as he showed me. It wasn't. It looked different compared to our slice which was burnt. I didn't bother anymore. It's just one employee working there so he did loose track of time as he was doing other work while the pizza was in the oven. Now, the taste of the pizza was good. I tried to taste the sauce and cheese avoiding the burnt bottom. Tip: just be mindful on how long your pizza is placed in the oven. read more

This place had the most amazing white slice. It was really juicy and full of several cheese flavors. Crunchy, hearty, not exactly paper thin. You could probably soak up some grease with paper napkins, though that may be a Bronx culinary faux pas. Good price, it was under $2 a slice just a few years back, probably still under $3 right now. Pretty small, maybe a 20-person seating capacity. I can't believe there's only one other review as of June 2009 - the place is right near Lehman College and I'm surprised more kids haven't reviewed this place yet. Stopped in for a quick slice in between classes.. not really expecting much. Just something to hold me over for a while. FYI the pizza at Lehman is grrrooossss, over priced & usually overcooked (tried it a few times thinking "maybe it was just a bad slice". Yeah, 3 times). Seemed slow but the guys there were attentive & quick. Threw my slice in the oven and was ready just a few minutes later. It was great!!! Nice sized slice.. not too greasy. Cardboard soggy pizza, had a very horrible experience with my order.(pizza was thin, soggy, cheese was off the pie. especially for the price I paid 13.50 for a small pepperoni pie) Also with a cold cut combo sandwich, they applied shredded mozzarella cheese instead of regular slices. The food was bland. The lasagna with meat had little flavor. The soup was very liquid. The mozzarella sticks were the only thing that was good, but it was because of the sauce. As for the delivery service, it left a lot to be desired. I gave all the information to where I live and, yet, it is very difficult to for them to deliver. And the deliverer was less than understanding or professional. I would order again from this place, but as a last resort. The pizza here is really good. I really like the buffalo chicken, and also the spinach pizza is really yummy. They use fresh ingredients and the crust is perfect. Prices are very reasonable, especially since one slice is enough to fill you up. I'm looking forward to trying their lasagna soon, so I'll update this review once I've had a chance to try it. Living right up the block from this establishment has it perks. I love their pizza from here and have been getting it since I moved. Workers are friendly and have a great memory of who you are and what you like. Their buffalo wings are so tasty and not too spicy which is definitely a plus. Their beef patty with cheese is also something I'd recommend; very flavorful and not super greasy. I also appreciate how they are willing to make fresh pizza for you if the pizza has been out too long and doesn't look appealing. read more

Good, but there is nothing exceptional about this place. Pizza is solid. Plain slices tend to be a bit thicker than you often get in NYC. They have enough business that you tend to get relatively fresh slices, not something that has been sitting there all day. The interior is relatively small with booths, but there is always space to sit down if you want to. They always have the news going on the TV. Prices are medium-high for non-fancy NYC pizza (i.e. a few cents more than a subway ride per slice). read more

Great pizza, calzones, gyros, and beef patties. Yes, I've had them all. No, I don't know where my weight went. Great for eating on the go and you need some extra fuel to get you through three trains and three boroughs to get home. The wings were actually not bad... mild and not too much sauce... You should definitely specify what you want if you like your wings a certain way. The tomato sauce is very garlicky, not saying that's good or bad, and the cheese is pretty standardly good. I visited on 3/27/20 around 7pm. Amidst the COVID19 epidemic, I was happy to be out and thankful that the pizzeria was open. There was a young man and a young lady behind the counter, both looked at me but I still waited almost 5 minutes before the young man asked me what I wanted. I ordered a large pepperoni pie with green peppers. I repeated "green peppers" twice when I realized that the boy taking my order hadn't written it down. With no eye-contact, he said "30 minutes. Do you want it?" Reluctantly, I said yes. I waited about 25 minutes only to find out that my pizza HAD NO GREEN PEPPERS! He was so nasty to me with no provocation or good reason and with all that energy STILL managed to get my order wrong. We should spend less time being disgusting and more time being respectful and caring humans especially during a time like this!! The renovation is not enough to keep this place thriving.
