Really rude guy at the counter. He was stingy with his napkins and seemed annoyed. For the pizza: He burned it in the oven when heating up our slice. We told him that he probably left in the oven for a bit longer than he was supposed to. He was extremely pissed and said, "that's how the pizza should be. Two minutes extra in the oven doesn't make a difference." It DOES. lol. He proceeded to say that the rest of the bottom of the pizza is the same as he showed me. It wasn't. It looked different compared to our slice which was burnt. I didn't bother anymore. It's just one employee working there so he did loose track of time as he was doing other work while the pizza was in the oven. Now, the taste of the pizza was good. I tried to taste the sauce and cheese avoiding the burnt bottom. Tip: just be mindful on how long your pizza is placed in the oven. read more

Stopped in for a quick slice in between classes.. not really expecting much. Just something to hold me over for a while. FYI the pizza at Lehman is grrrooossss, over priced & usually overcooked (tried it a few times thinking "maybe it was just a bad slice". Yeah, 3 times). Seemed slow but the guys there were attentive & quick. Threw my slice in the oven and was ready just a few minutes later. It was great!!! Nice sized slice.. not too greasy. Looking forward to more visits! Yay PIZZZZZZAAAAA *thumbs up* read more

Really great NY pizza at good prices. Not a great place to dine, it is ok when you are in a rush. read more

Best grandma square slice, period! The other stuff I've had here hasn't been memorable, so I suggest just sticking with this classic. The grandma pie is deliciously simple - bright tomato sauce and salty melted mozzarella cheese mingle with fresh garlic and make the thin, crispy slices juicy and delicious. Can't go wrong! read more

Great pizza and wings best grandma slice I've ever had and I've lived and worked around some of the best pizza shops in Manhattan. Fast delivery and great counter service my go to for food in the neighborhood day and night. read more

Good experience. Food came fast than expected and was still hot. The order was done correctly. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the food. had no seasoning read more

Been coming here since I was a kid! Huge slices, just the right amount of sauce and cheese with a yummy crust. What more can you ask for! To go is the best option, but buy one slice to carry and one to eat on the way. Once you smell it, you'll have to nibble! read more

Cardboard soggy pizza, had a very horrible experience with my order.(pizza was thin, soggy, cheese was off the pie. especially for the price I paid 13.50 for a small pepperoni pie) Also with a cold cut combo sandwich, they applied shredded mozzarella cheese instead of regular slices. I can get a decent pie at emilio's on kingsbridge rd for just 6 bucks with pepperoni.(that's thier special personal pie). read more

The food was bland. The lasagna with meat had little flavor. The soup was very liquid. The mozzarella sticks were the only thing that was good, but it was because of the sauce. As for the delivery service, it left a lot to be desired. I gave all the information to where I live and, yet, it is very difficult to for them to deliver. And the deliverer was less than understanding or professional. I would order again from this place, but as a last resort. I don't know about you, but getting someone to hang up on you midway through a conversation is rude, when all you are doing is helping. read more

Wanted to purchase two spinach slices. items came up to about $6 ..I had $8 dollars available on my debit card. Was told minimum was $10. I tried to push it, said I didn't have minimum..was told to go to atm.. not very nicely either..had to cancel my purchase. BOO! But I would go back for the spinach slices, they looked delicious, could tell they sell quick. read more

The pizza here is really good. I really like the buffalo chicken, and also the spinach pizza is really yummy. They use fresh ingredients and the crust is perfect. Prices are very reasonable, especially since one slice is enough to fill you up. I'm looking forward to trying their lasagna soon, so I'll update this review once I've had a chance to try it. If you're in the neighborhood, Jerome's Pizza is definitely a good place to check out. read more

Living right up the block from this establishment has it perks. I love their pizza from here and have been getting it since I moved. Workers are friendly and have a great memory of who you are and what you like. Their buffalo wings are so tasty and not too spicy which is definitely a plus. Their beef patty with cheese is also something I'd recommend; very flavorful and not super greasy. I also appreciate how they are willing to make fresh pizza for you if the pizza has been out too long and doesn't look appealing. read more

There food is amazing and they staff is very friendly and nice the food was the best I've had they were very busy and I still got my food on time.this is deff a place to go to if your in the area I don't know where the other bad comments are coming from but it's prob somebody that is trying to put this place down because this place is always getting an A read more

Good, but there is nothing exceptional about this place. Pizza is solid. Plain slices tend to be a bit thicker than you often get in NYC. They have enough business that you tend to get relatively fresh slices, not something that has been sitting there all day. The interior is relatively small with booths, but there is always space to sit down if you want to. They always have the news going on the TV. Prices are medium-high for non-fancy NYC pizza (i.e. a few cents more than a subway ride per slice). read more

We have tried all the pizza places that deliver in Kingsbridge and this one is by far the best. When we have people over to hang out we always order it and everyone loves it. They use fresh ingredients and the sauce has good flavor. read more

Amazing pasta and dinners! I've had the penne a la vodka, pasta primavera, chicken parmigiana, and garlic knots so far. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. The atmosphere and music is great. I'm so happy they're here on Bedford Park between the D, B, and 4 trains. I can order on their website for takeout/delivery or grab something on my way home. Keep it up folks!! read more

Great pizza, calzones, gyros, and beef patties. Yes, I've had them all. No, I don't know where my weight went. Great for eating on the go and you need some extra fuel to get you through three trains and three boroughs to get home. Wouldn't recommend staying at the pizzeria to eat, though-- can get very crowded and somewhat claustrophobic sometimes. Cheap prices, excellent taste. read more

In a neighborhood with plenty of pizzeria competition, this is the only place I will order from. Grandma aka "square" pizza is my favorite.

Awesome guys and great food. I actually love their french fries and would highly recommend ordering them from here if you're in the mood to have them. Dip them in their blue cheese and a nice slice, you'll be very happy with the result. I've lived in the neighborhood my whole life (I'm 30yrs old), and wish them continued success. read more

Best pizza in the neighborhood, decent service and the prices are more than reasonable. I highly recommend their chicken-parm wedge. For 7$ its the tastiest sub on the block and I doubt you'll leave hungry. read more

Been eating here since I was a kid. Still making great pizza no drop in quality whatsoever.

The "Grandma" pizza is one of the best I've tasted anywhere in NYC. More expensive than a regular slice but worth it. It's a small place but nice. The place is easy to reach. Either B/D/4 train Bedford Park stop. read more

Not bad. definitely better than Papa Johns... But I ordered the grandma pizza which was supposed to be amazing... not that great. not worth the 18 bucks. The garlic knots were okay. a little burnt. The wings were actually not bad... mild and not too much sauce... You should definitely specify what you want if you like your wings a certain way. They do have a wide selection of pastas and italian dishes. I might try a regular pie next time. But this experience was just A-OK. read more

Solid New York slice. Not too expensive (~$3/slice) and you can get in and out really quick. The tomato sauce is very garlicky, not saying that's good or bad, and the cheese is pretty standardly good. The slices aren't too greasy and there's usually a handful of choices of toppings behind the counter. read more

Awesome place. Friendly service and not only do they smile in greeting as they get to know you but we'll also recommend what to eat based on the time (ex. Don't have a calzone late at night.). Plus, all of the food is great, some of the best I've ever had. I'd recommend it to anyone. read more

If you're in the Bronx and want to eat GOOD ol' fashion pizza, this is the place! Small, cozy, customer friendly individuals... Trust me. Good stuff! :) read more

I visited on 3/27/20 around 7pm. Amidst the COVID19 epidemic, I was happy to be out and thankful that the pizzeria was open. There was a young man and a young lady behind the counter, both looked at me but I still waited almost 5 minutes before the young man asked me what I wanted. I ordered a large pepperoni pie with green peppers. I repeated "green peppers" twice when I realized that the boy taking my order hadn't written it down. With no eye-contact, he said "30 minutes. Do you want it?" Reluctantly, I said yes. I waited about 25 minutes only to find out that my pizza HAD NO GREEN PEPPERS! He was so nasty to me with no provocation or good reason and with all that energy STILL managed to get my order wrong. We should spend less time being disgusting and more time being respectful and caring humans especially during a time like this!! The renovation is not enough to keep this place thriving. Just bad vibes and OKAY pizza. read more
