I'm not a pizza connoisseur BUT it's fair to say that all pizza is not made equally. I've had a lot of pizza slices in NYC and this pizza shop does a great job of preparing New York style pizza. If you're not from NYC, be prepared to enjoy a giant slice of pizza (that you must fold because that's the proper way to eat a NYC slice of pizza). I plan on visiting this shop every time that I visit Bedford Park. Pro-Tip: 1. You can't go wrong with cheese pizza but they have many options. Chicken on Pizza is a great option too. 2. Get the Beef Pattie (it's not a pizza). 3. Garlic knots are a must (worth the carbs). 4. Marinara Sauce is an additional charge (you can leave without it but come on, don't be cheap at this point).

The square spinach slice is all you need to concern yourself with...especially if thick-ass Sicillian slices aren't your thing. They have a pretty solid plain slice too, but my husband turned me on to the spinach slice here and I haven't looked back since.

Tried it out after visiting my daughter's future high school. She claims she will be a regular the next four years. Good pizza but beware the slices are big. Nice staff and nice and clean interior.

Been coming to Jerome's Pizza for a very long time. Glad to see the place with a shiny and beautiful facelift. Still under the same great management with the same great tasting pizza, but the space has been expanded with a modern touch. There is plenty of space and the place looks extra clean. My biggest issue before was the small space but they've expanded the real estate. This should definitely encourage more people to eat in as before there was only four tables. Now there are twelve. With two tvs up on the wall and nice decor, eating a slice or two just became more inviting. So come by, enjoy a great slice while supporting the local business. The owners have always been great, but they just made the place better with the facelift. Hope the business continues having success!

Love the pizza from this place & the tropical salad is also my fav. I tried the pasta & it wasn't the best..it was too dry for me. They could've added more sauce. The chicken cutlet was okay. I do have to say they have the best garlic knots around!

One of my old time favorite pizza . But let's talk about how they treat their patrons . As a Afro Latina woman. They treat me with the up most respect and my family whether I order on line or dine-in in the summer nights . The quality and service is wonderful.

If I could give it zero stars I would! Just moved to the beford park area from queens a couple months ago and I will never order from this place nor this area again! I ordered thru the seamless app and found a dead roach in my pasta as I was serving myself a bowl. Needles to say I almost yacked because I tasted it before I served my bowl!! DO NOT.... I REPEAT... DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

Kind of the new/old hang out place for me to eat around Kingsbridge. I remember the old days of being on campus as a student at Lehman and running here during the breaks to get my pizza vibes on, now as an adult vibes are still great but I feel like the spot and environment have matured in its own way. YOU KNOW, just like a real adult. I like the pizza here, anything from a plain sicilian slice to Grandma slice with chicken or even a beef patty with cheese is the way to go. The beef patty with cheese could probably use more cheese on it, compared to some that I have got at other pizza joints. The staff is usually always very friendly to me and enjoy any moments that I have been here since my return to this area of the bronx. I will be back soon, and most likely for a sicilian slice. It is great pizza.

I came here recently for a last minute quick bite to eat and let me tell you it was horrible! The food was horrible and the service was horrible! I was not greeted when I came into the pizza shop. I went to order my two slices of pizza and I noticed that he was rushing me but because I was starving I decided to stay and get food there. When I got home and looked at the pepperoni and spinach slices I was disappointed once so opened the box. There was five pieces of pepperoni on each slice plus a a little more than a tablespoon of spinach (I checked with an actual tablespoon). At make matters worst the pizza was dry and extra crunchy. It was almost like they put a spoonful of sauce on the pizza. There was not moisture or tomato taste evident on this slice. I had to add my own homemade sauce total bummer. When my Beau got home he laughed at the amount of topping on the plate. Then asked me when did I buy the pizza. He is a really funny guy. He was not to thrilled about this pizza place. The only pro about this place is that it is located next to another train station and it is equally convenient. But, it was not worth the wait for it to be made nor the waste of calories. Overall, I highly doubt I will try this place again.

Great NY style pizza, wings sub par

Pretty good prize for Pepperoni pie, Large was 17$ and the pizza was huge! Crust was nice and crispy, cheese was delish and although a bit greasy it was worth it. On the other hand the wings were a let down. We ordered bbq but got buffalo style. They tasted off, not crispy, crunchy or any flavor. We could've gone without them. Otherwise will try their Hawaiian pizza next time :)

I also took home a side order of escarole, sauteed in olive oil and garlic, and grated Parmesan on the side. The Chicken Scarpariello ($37 w/option ) is great and quite filling. The Chicken is coming from the thighs as best I can determine and is chopped up with a few bones that can be handled with a knife and fork. I would definitely order this always on the bone for flavor. You have the boneless option, but go with the bone. The cherry hot peppers add a definitive kick, above Fra Diavolo level, but nothing anyone cannot handle. The sausage was overcooked, but the potatoes were spot on. The red sauce, ziti and Parmesan calmed the moderate heat down if anyone is concerned. The escarole was a good accompaniment, but the spice level overwhelmed the wine with this dish. By the way, I can now confirm this $48 Montepulciano is of the Sangiovese varietal from Montepulciano D.O.C. The Chicken Scarpariello with the added option is also a more fulfilling meal than the Veal Martini and I can understand why it is a leading dish on the menu at Enzo's. I find it to be equally good too, so no downgrade in the rating. It highlights the consistency of the dishes served by the kitchen with steady chefs over the years. Marcello, my server, told no lies. The Double Cut Pork Chop ($33) was a bit more satisfying and delicious. It's thick, about two inches or more thick. They trimmed most of the fat, but left enough for added flavor. Notice the darkened color of the fat trim that has been seared and caramelized. Yum! The thick chop is cooked all the way through, but it's not tough or challenging to cut. It's still juicy and somewhat tender inside, with the added juice and flavor of the sauce. Over the escarole and pasta with garlic and dusted with Parmesan for that pop, your palate is in for a most satisfying experience. The Double Cut Pork Chop is one of those dishes that will keep people coming to Enzo's. It also paired better with the wine, given the heat from the hot cherry peppers was less pronounced and not overwhelming for the relatively low tannin and low acidity wine. I have had Sangiovese that drink a lot bigger and don't even mention the Brunellos. Enzo's of Williamsbridge is not overcharging in my opinion. They could have increased prices more on account of inflation, but they have not. Their loyal patrons would balk of they did. The dishes on the menu generally range from the high twenties to high thirties for generous servings. Wines by the bottle are reasonably priced and I can see why one would take your family here or take someone on a date here with the quality and value proposition served up consistently since 1998. Enzo's is a go to restaurant for many loyal patrons. I would and will return easily and can give Enzo's high marks. Just seat me inside the main dining room next time please. 4.0 very solid and consistent stars!
