Having lived in Berkeley, my husband I are obsessed with Sharffen Berger chocolate, which is difficult to find out here. Well, the Pot Rack has it--semisweet, bittersweet, unsweetened, and cocoa powder. They also carry Nielssen-Massey vanilla products, Republic of Tea products, and other excellent food stuffs. Additionally, The Pot a Rack carries cookware, bakeware, cooking utensils, cutlery, and many other cooking related items. Customer service is top-notch. Once I called the place and when no one answered I just hung up. No more than 2 minutes later someone called back, profusely apologizing for missing my call. Once I made it to the store, I was offered a cup of coffee or tea to drink while I browsed. And even though I've always dragged at least one of my kids into the store--which I could see as terrifying for a person who owns or works at a store with plenty of things that could break or hurt a kid--we feel welcomed here. Cute place, lots of excellent food products and cooking supplies, great customer service--The Pot a Rack is not just a gem in Leavenworth but in the whole Kansas City area.

Absolutely love this store. Cute, small, well stocked and very friendly staff (incredibly clean as…read morea cooking store should be). They offer complimentary tea/coffee which really encourages you to try something new. This is great for hostess gifts, birthday gifts or for someone who has it all. Talk with them, let them know what you need and they are great with suggestions. This is the kind of shop that makes shopping fun and a huge asset for downtown Leavenworth. Park in front or at Haymarket Square and pop in whenever in the area. They always have something new. This is THE place to go to for tea, sauces or just something to get out of the normal cooking rut.

This is a good place to get work done on your small engines…read more I had a small generator with a bad idle so I dropped it off. They said it will be about 2 weeks but I was able to get it back in a tad over a week which was pretty amazing. The only problem is While they had my generator a button got broken and nobody fixed it or told me about it. When I got home I ran the generator to make sure it was fixed, thats when I discovered the broke button. Not to much of a big deal because I called the shop right away they ordered a replacement on the spot no questions asked. In all it was a little inconvenience nothing major and they handled it all like professionals The generator runs perfect btw and yeah I would definitely go back here because you can tell a shop is pretty great by the way they handle problems. They handled it great! everyone is really friendly and they do great work. The 4 stars isn't to discourage people it's more of a simple reminder to look over your equipment.

I was happy to find a company that offered pick up/delivery for my Husqvarna riding lawnmower. The…read moremower needed a new V-Belt. The cost of the belt was $29.89. Including parts/labor/delivery I paid +$425 for the repair and paid over the phone prior to the mower being returned to me. Big mistake. Upon delivery today, I noticed a cable laying across the mower deck and asked the driver, Steve, about it. Steve commented that maybe the rough drive from the shop to my house knocked the cable loose and tried fastening it to no avail. Steve determined that the cable controls the pulley that engages the mower blades. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the loose cable. When they picked the mower up there weren't any cables hanging over the mower deck! Steve called Todd, at the shop and Todd sent a photo of another Husqvarna mower in their shop with the same cable hanging over the deck. Husqvarna doesn't sell their mowers with a cable hanging over the deck and there was no cable hanging over the deck before Maisch picked the mower up. Maisch's attempt to "normalize" the condition of my mower when it was returned is beyond frustrating. A $425 lesson learned the hard way. Take your Husqvarna riding lawnmowers someplace else. UPDATE: Todd came out this afternoon and found a way to secure the cable dangling over the mower deck. I appreciate Maisch's attempt to resolve the situation and will definitely use their services again. Thank you, Maisch!

They yelled at me because I wasn't happy with the situation. Then they refused to take my credit card because I wasn't happy with their work. They told me I could only pay in cash or I would never get my tools back. I told them to take their parts off and just give me my tools back. The guy yelled at me more. When I asked to see the tool to see if they even did the work they are claiming to do the guy laughed again and said that "isn't how they do business". Horrible business. Don't trust them. Before you take your mower there for any…read morerepair make sure you take a picture of (top, back, under side) They are very deceptive, they are crooks. We took our mower there which was almost 2 years old. We only use it for the summer months so it almost still brand new. The mower was still under warranty and all they had to repair was the front caster wheel as it was loose. They held it in their shop for almost 3 weeks when we got it back they replace the caster with an old beat up rusty caster that they took from another mower and the worse part is that they SWITCH THE DECK OF MY MOWER AND GAVE US BACK AN OLD RUSTY BEAT UP DECK, The under carriage is so rusty and whomever that mower belongEd to they tried to touch it up with paint as it was rusty. I contact CUBCADET Headquarters and notify them of Jerry's deceptive practice. Cub cadet said once an item is under warranty ONLY new parts should be used and that JERRYS OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT LOCATED IN SMITHVILLE AND KANSAS should ONLY use brand new parts for any equipment that is still under warranty. PLEASE PLEASE be careful of them. They will scam you. The picture shown here should have been new parts however they took this wheel and caster from an old mower and place it onto my mower. "Cub cadet said this is Fraud"
