That to me means 24hrs, 1 full day, but instead they figure daily rental is 8hrs anything over is considered another days rental. They seem to never mention this little catch and just extract the money out of your account because they do not accept checks for they know they are a bunch of CROOKS! They never call or ask permission to extract your money, they just take it. Stay clear of this horrible place. There are more LEGIT rental places than this. I'm sure they will be out of Business before to long and I can't wait. For your information my Final Bill was well over $1000 and should have been around $650. Unfortunately at this point I came down with a severe case of Covid and was out of commission for almost 3 weeks. During this time told my help to install the canopy. When I was well enough to check it out, it was quickly apparent it was way too small for my Zero turn mower being a ZD 331 with 72"deck. This canopy offers little protection for operator. I called Coleman about a return offering to pay return shipping,,,They refuse to take it back...Even being under the 30 day period in they return policy. Very disappointed in their customer service. I have been using Gerken (used to be Croft) for many…read moreyears and my dad used them for many years. But today I got taken to the cleaners. They literally stole $486 from me. Here is what happened. I rented a trencher for $195 a day on Friday afternoon at 4:00pm with the plan to get it returned the next day by 4:00 since that is what time they close on Saturday. Unfortunately I could not get it cleaned, filled with gas and back to them by 4pm. I was about an hour too late. So I took off work on Monday morning to return it first thing at 8am Monday. When I got there I was told I would be charged for 2 extra days???? Well someone cant add because it was actually only 1 day and 16 hours. But here is what will keep me from using or even recommending Gerken ever again. If I returned this on Saturday at closing, they would not be renting it again until Monday morning any ways. Plus the hour meter shows I only used it for 1.8 hours. So a good company with good customer service will take all things into consideration and only charge maybe 4 hours extra or 1 extra day. Which I would have been fine with. But I can see that Gerken is not concerned with pleasing customers. they are concerned about making money. Thats why not just this Gerken but any Gerken will not be seeing any more business from me or anyone I know. Enjoy the extra $486
