The Vintage House provides everything you could need for hosting a party; glassware, utensils, flatware, serving platters, drink dispensers, and a full kitchen! The space can be rented either the entire day or for 1 of the 2 shifts (we rented 3pm-8pm). I would highly recommend this space for small parties in the Overland Park area!

Worst event planning services ever! There is nothing Eco-Friendly or Green about her event planning…read moreservices - Decor that was potentially selected for my event was not green, but polyester and plastic. I had to drive 40 miles out of my way for her pastry chef for the wedding cake, which did not pass along any savings. Consistently lied about following up with venue when I have confirmed information that she did not speak to the venue as promised. I missed several key appointments that a full-service planner is to remind the paying CLIENT on and then turned around and blamed the CLIENT for her lack of organization. It is a good thing I TERMINATED her contract. My wedding turned out beautifully, no thanks to her.

From my first meeting with Erika I knew I had found the right person to work with because she completely understood the sort of look I wanted. The flowers were stunning (and eco-friendly/local!), and the day-of coordination was by far the best investment I could have made for the wedding. This goes without saying, but weddings are a LOT of work and can be extremely stressful at times. When it came down to the day of the wedding, I wasn't stressed, Erika and Veronica made sure everyone and everything was where it needed to be, and it went off without a hitch. Extremely professional, friendly, and creative. Couldn't ask for more.

Our 4-year-old was asked not to come back after the fourth day for behaviors, but these were not egregious behaviors (I'm not saying this because I'm being a defensive parent). They had reportedly discussed behaviors earlier in the week but not with my wife and I and we weren't made aware of how serious they felt they were. We're clearly frustrated, and maybe this isn't the way it is with every class, but if you are going to have a summer camp, you need to have teachers that are trained to deal with behaviors of 4-year-olds and keep a close line of communication with the parents. There was no itinerary, no pictures of the camp, no way to engage with my child when they came home on what they learned. To top it off, the camp director was rude to my wife when explaining things. Extremely disappointed in the experience and if you have other options I would stay away.

The staff here was very helpful, they were there when you needed them, but not so much that they were in your face all the time. Perfect balance. I had some burnt ends, and they were tasty. These ribs put every BBQ rib I have had before now to shame. My tastebuds now understand what ribs should taste like. It was a magical cross between perfection and awesome.
