I had always been looking for a place that can help me grow my business so when I first moved to the Lawrence area I kind a looked around to different places when I finally came across copy Co.. I was going through the recent passing of my mother at the time and I do graphic design and I wanted to do a huge blown up tribute to my mother. I wanted to make sure that the picture was clear and beautiful and I just wasn't sure about all the other places about whether they could deliver what I wanted. So when I came to this place I came with a little hesitancy and uncertainty mainly due to the request that I was needing and the sincerity and urgency of my need. First of all the staff were extremely friendly and offered their condolences for my loss. When I showed them what I had made they even complimented me on it and when I expressed to them what I wanted they immediately assured me that they could do so. I was even given the option of choosing to wait while it was completed, or I could leave and return. Due to the nature of my need, I decided to stay and wait. The finished product was absolutely beautiful they gave me exactly what I asked for and for a beautiful price, they did such a wonderful job with the first tribute that I made a second one in honor of my mom and they did wonderful with it as well. A lot of the prices in town were pretty expensive compared to this place so I had decided from that day forward that any printing work that I need it done this would be the place I come to. Little did I know that six months after my mom passed, I would be coming again for pretty much the same thing when my mom's sister passed away and her family was seeking my graphic design ability to do a tribute to their mom which was my aunt. Copyco came through again and blew up the picture to the beautiful size that I needed . it was so beautifully done. They have never let me down and everything that I've asked them to do and to do it under the pressure due to the situation of grieving and loss, They came through like troopers. Surprisingly enough, Lawrence is a cool college town but there are little options for people who need binding or photocopying. There is FedEx Kinko's downtown and who wants to brave traffic and parking for one binding job? Not me. There is Office Depot but they charge an great deal more than Copy Co for the same job. Copy Co has been in a business for a long time. They never seem to have a large volume of business but they are always steady with customers. I have never had to wait in line for very long and, even if you did, they make it pleasant. There is a bank of couches lined up against a wall just for customers who are waiting for orders. Darn it! I've never had such luck. They look so comfy I do not think I would mind waiting. The staff is always friendly and they understand what you need even when your job might be unusual. They have made special customized creations for me when a particular need arose, too. All their work has been high quality and reasonably priced. I have made black/white and color copies there, personalized calendars, book and project binding and lamination services. I have never been disappointed in the finished product. Copy Co has also produced my work in a timely manner. I have never had to wonder when my projects would be finished. I like the piece of mind this allows me. It is easy to access the store, too. There is no problem with parking or ease of access. Easy in, easy out. Highly recommended for the types of jobs that need to be done inexpensively, quickly and dependably. read more

CopyCo has always had friendly people behind the counter every single time I've gone in to print off more resumes for myself. They have taken a little bit extra time each time, which is why I knock off a star, otherwise they have always been apologetic when something goes wrong, and they will help you get what you want. There's always Beatles music playing in there, which is fun for me to get my Beatles fix, but hey, you try to be as cheery as the CopyCo employees after Day 246 of Day Tripper. I love the Beatles, but I would be going insane I think. Otherwise, they've always helped me out in times of need and were always friendly. Their prices are very good, as well. read more

Initially great customer service. Unfortunately the board I had made from them bubbled in the same day so I took it back. The manager was incredibly rude and told me it was my fault and they don't make enough of a profit to fix the problem. I would never waste my time doing business there again. read more

I had a project that needed to be printed and mailed to a mailing list...yesterday. It was overdue. It was a rush and even at the holidays. Honestly, I wasn't 100% sure what I was doing. But they printed it perfectly (even suggested a better format), got it done a day before their estimate, AND mailed out for me. I couldn't thank them enough then and I can't recommend them enough now. Great staff. Very reasonable prices. Plus they are miracle workers! read more

I'm not certain I'm leaving this review in the correct place, but I know great customer service should be recognized, applauded and rewarded. My daughter lives in Salina. I recently purchased a membership with her local bookstore. As a result, they emailed me coupons that I was unable to print myself. (I won't mention the store's name because their process is obviously a mess!) I visited the Copy Co in Salina for assistance. Your customer service representative Pam Picking spent at least 30 minutes with us, helping to smooth my laptop problems so my project would have a successful end. I cannot begin to express my thanks to her and the store's manager (not sure whether this gentleman was Eric, Rick or Dan) for their guidance, input and suggestions. Eventually we were able to attach the files and print on the store's equipment. I left Copy Co store a very happy, satisfied lady with a handful of coupons. My laptop is an outdated Apple with an agenda and negative attitude! THANK YOU, PAM, FOR YOUR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I often visit the Salina area to experience adventures with my grandchildren, and I will utilize Copy Co for all of my future needs. Although the staff are friendly but i find their attitude unpleasant. They WILL NOT inform you that there is a 10% discount off for KU students and only if you know and ask them about it, that they will give the discount to you. They will conveniently tell you that they forgot to inform you. I went to get my final dissertation printed out, which is more than 500 pages and had to print out 4 copes. It cost me about $270 and it was pretty obvious that i am a KU student but they didnt inform me at all. Only when my co-worker went to get his printed out, saw the note on the door when he was about to leave, and went back in to inquire about the discount. They replied to him, saying they forgot about the discount... Unpleasant ethics. read more
