We both opted for the 60-min massage/30-min facial combo, which was $150 (a little less if you paid in cash). You could choose your massage style and pressure, and I went with a Swedish massage with medium-firm pressure and it was perrrrrrfect. I've had massages where I'm sore or could hardly move afterward, but this one left me in a state of bliss for several hours afterward. They also offered add-ons like hot stones or food scrubs (I was too scared to note that they could walk on my back and legs, so I skipped that part!) Our massage therapists started on time and they were friendly and attentive, asking a few times if the pressure was OK. I loved every minute of it. The facial was amazing too, and the combination of products and the facial/neck/head massage was dreamy. I felt like a clean, 100% refreshed lady afterward. Front desk staff is also very nice, and they offer tea or water before and after services. The waiting area and private rooms have soft music, dark walls and low light, and trickling fountains. No sales pitches afterward, too! They have a free parking lot in the back, too! Can't wait to visit this place again!

AMAZING DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE BY BODA!!!…read more First off, I was asked before the massage what pressure I like, and then during the massage, boda also asked me if the pressure was ok. I LOVE a very deep tissue massage, I have a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders and I've tried so many massage places and I never leave feeling satisfied, I always wish they spent more time on the areas I asked. She released so many knots and I had tears from the relief I felt . No one can ever give me enough pressure, and she was STRONG. I'm 100lb female and at no point was boda hurting me at all. BODA stayed true to a deep tissue massage, while also incorporating Thai, Swedish, shiatsu, and even sports massage techniques. She stretched my neck and back in ways that gave me a release I've never had from massage. Her vibe was calm, and sweet, and the overall place was nice. It really is a secret hole in the wall spot. I won't go anywhere else for a massage after this honestly. For the first time in 15 years I woke up in the morning without shoulder and neck pain. Very professional, and I felt very comfortable. Thank you BODA. I will be back :) Please try this place out if you are in the area, You can't beat it. I paid 70$ for an hour massage and gave a 20$ tip .

I sensed this might be the case because I tried calling shortly after they opened but no one picked up. I got a call about 15 minutes later though. I requested 2 70-minute massages and asked for strong massages. She reminded us to bring cash for tips and that there was an extra dollar surcharge for using card (and that they did not accept Amex). She also asked us what we wanted to focus on that session and we let her know, but I felt like the therapists didn't necessarily focus on those areas too much ultimately. The massages themselves were fine. Mine started off strong during the foot massage with a nice shoulder rub. But my partner said his started off less strong during the foot massage. He also said that much of his body massage entailed massaging a lot of bone but not necessarily tissue, although the person was strong. My body massage was just okay. There was a lot of rubbing and pressure point massages but not necessarily getting out knots. Overall it was just fine and the massages themselves were more like 3 stars. For the price, it is a solid massage place -- $50 for a 70-minute combination massage (30-minute foot and 40-minute body). But it's nothing special.

I highly recommend Jenny Karns and Body Temple Healing. I have been getting massages from Jenny for the past couple of months and will absolutely continue. Jenny is truly an amazing body worker and human being. She develops a connection with your body and applies her healing touch where needed. I feel so at ease with Jenny that communication always flows naturally. Most of the time Jenny knows where I need work before I say it. Her personality is so bright and positive that you emerge out of your session smiling. Jenny nourishes your whole body and spirit. You owe it to yourself to experience her craft. read more

I recently went through back surgery and after bouncing around town from massage place to massage place I met Jenny Karns a few months before I had surgery. To describe the difference in how I felt after she worked on me and others was night and day. She was the only massage therapist I'd seen that actually helped me. She doesn't just give you a massage, she seems to actually extract the pain and stress directly out of your body. I was forever amazed and have become a life long client. Treat yourself and go get a massage from her. You'll be very pleased with the result. Don Tellem read more

I discovered Jenny several months ago, and I'm so glad I did. That she gives a great massage is a given. She very carefully works with you to determine the level and intensity you need and is very proficient in her technique. But there is so much more. She also works with you to uncover those hidden reasons for the stress and tension in your body, so you leave her refreshed not only in the body but in the spirit and soul as well. Jenny provides most amazing bodywork, hands down. Truly a master of her craft, she has an almost psychic connection with the human body.
