We had an actual conversation prior to the treatment and their delivery was spot on. I so appreciate how Jen and Jade allowed us to enjoy our massage in silence. And every so often, when I had a comment, they chimed in and laughed with my honey and I! Then back to silent enjoyment. Through the entire massage, I felt they were very present, engaging, professional, and kind. Couples facial: Amanda and Tamara were so knowledgeable and skilled in their craft! Every question that my sweetheart and I had regarding skincare, Amanda and Tamara answered. Personally, it can be a jarring experience for me, having someone work so closely to my face. But Tamara's energy was inviting and safe and she was so gentle! After the facial, Amanda and Tamara checked in with how my sweetheart and I were feeling and gave us privacy to slowly get ready for our next experience. Pool/Hot tub: Is there truly a better way to end the day than to soak in a hot tub with palm trees and cabanas? I think not. Part of the deal was a beverage tray and floating food tray. First, Jana knew that my sweetheart and I don't drink alcohol, so Jana prepared non-alcoholic champagne! This was a special treat for us, as normally, we simply deny the alcohol and swallow the cost (that's already included in the deal). It was incredibly thoughtful of Jana to have something else prepared for us to enjoy. Along with the non-alcoholic champagne, she prepared clarifying mint tea, coffee, and sparkling mineral water. So refreshing as we floated in bliss. Then came the food tray. Oh. My. Droooooool. Tiramisu birthday cake, the biggest raspberry macaron, a quarter pineapple artfully displayed in the shell, crisp green grapes, literally the best turkey/bacon sandwich, and a delectable grilled chicken salad. Y'all, literally every single bite was top-tier. To top off the surprise, turns out Jana is the masterchef behind this amazing spread! Everything she does is done with intention and the client's experience in mind. I was simultaneously blown away and deep in serenity. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

There is a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna, and plenty of showers. Everything is kept very clean so that is very much appreciated. The staff were all very nice and helpful as well. They do validate parking for the parking structure that is within the Topanga Village (don't park in the outside 90 min parking, instead drive up into the structure towards Total Wines). I am definitely coming back to this location, even though there are several other Burke Williams locations closer to me.

Formal Customer Service Complaint -- September 12 Visit…read more I am writing to formally express my concern regarding the way my daughter and I were treated upon arriving at Burke Williams Woodland Hills on September 12th. We were there to celebrate my birthday with two of my best friends and were looking forward to a relaxing girls' spa day. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in was uncomfortable and disappointing. I want to clarify an important point: we were not late. We arrived approximately 15-20 minutes before our scheduled check-in time. Despite this, the blonde employee assisting me repeatedly told us that we were running late. When we arrived, a friendly brunette was assisting my daughter while the blonde employee checked me in. I provided my name, explained that we were there to celebrate my birthday, and gave the name of my best friend under whose reservation we were booked. After locating our reservation, the blonde employee stated that we were running behind schedule because we were late. I was surprised by this because we had arrived early. I was prepared to complete the check-in process promptly, but the repeated comments about being late immediately made the interaction uncomfortable. She requested my driver's license and then explained that a credit card was required on file. I explained that I wanted the charges placed on my card rather than my daughter's. After I handed over my credit card, she again stated, "Okay, you are running behind schedule. I need to finish your check-in." After processing my card, she placed it on the counter and slid it toward me rather than handing it back directly. She then asked me to sign a consent form on a digital screen. Because the print was very small and difficult to read, I politely asked if it could be enlarged. She sighed and told me she had a paper copy. She retrieved it from underneath the register and slid it toward me, again reiterating that we were behind schedule because we were late. She then told me that, because it was my birthday, I would receive an add-on. I asked what the options were because I wanted to understand what was being offered. She quickly went through them, but I was still unclear and asked for clarification. I felt that her demeanor indicated frustration with my questions. She ultimately told me that my masseuse could explain the options and that she would take me to the locker area. The contrast between the two employees was very noticeable. The brunette assisting my daughter was warm and welcoming. She wished me a happy birthday and told us to enjoy our spa day. Unfortunately, that welcoming attitude was not reflected in my interaction with the other employee. Before we reached the locker area, my two best friends saw us and came over to greet me and wish me a happy birthday. The blonde employee abruptly stated, "We don't have time for this. You are already running late. We need to get you into the locker room area." I found this especially upsetting because we were not late--we had arrived 15-20 minutes early. I was simply being greeted by the two friends with whom I had planned my birthday celebration. If there was a scheduling issue or discrepancy in the system, it should have been explained to us professionally rather than repeatedly telling us we were late. By the time we reached the locker area, what should have been an exciting and relaxing start to my birthday celebration had instead become stressful and uncomfortable. My daughter also noticed the employee's demeanor and independently expressed that she felt uncomfortable with the interaction. I am bringing this to management's attention because I believe this interaction warrants review. Repeatedly telling guests they are late when they have actually arrived early is inaccurate and unnecessarily creates a negative experience. I understand that Burke Williams has schedules to maintain, but scheduling concerns should be communicated with courtesy, accuracy, and professionalism. I chose Burke Williams expecting a premium spa experience. Guests should feel welcomed and respected from the moment they arrive, particularly when celebrating a special occasion. I respectfully ask management to review what occurred, including the discrepancy regarding our arrival time, and address the customer-service concerns described above. I would also appreciate a response explaining why we were repeatedly told that we were late when we had arrived approximately 15-20 minutes before our scheduled check-in time. I sincerely hope Burke Williams takes this feedback seriously and ensures that no other guest has a similar experience. Lastly, suggestion for group members in locker area: kindly assign lockers 10-15 slots away from one another so we are not all bunched together trying to place our items or sit in a crowded space. This would create a much more relaxed space.

Once you have your stuff, you got the locker room (shoes off) to get changed~ you can either go for the pools and the wet saunas etc or go upstairs on the shirt/shorts to enjoy the heated rooms. After that, I headed downstairs to enjoy a good rinse before heading into the heated pool. There was only one heated pool and one cool pool. There were plenty of areas to sit and bathe or stand and shower. This is also the area you can book services for body scrubs etc. there are also a couple of saunas in this area. The pool shower areas also have plastic baskets to hold your stuff, as well as complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors. Each shower or bathing section also has complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The locker room has lockers where you can store your stuff with your assigned locker number. There are also areas to get read with hair dryers and qtips and lotion. Overall, a lovely experience and hope to come back.

I was referred to Kirsten by my boyfriend for a Reiki healing session. I came in with a blocked mind due my highstress career, managing a family, home and personal well being. You can really be at any level of stress and her healing hands will do wonders. In my case, I couldn't organize my thoughts or emotions. I was overwhelmed and was willing to drop everything for a simpler life without all the headache. The first time, she pulled out a lot of trauma. Not only could I feel it but I could see it through my state of deep meditation. I felt a weight lifted but not not until after I started having those deep and complicated scenarios is when I noticed a change in how I interacted with others. I'm calmer, the anxiety and pressure of others does not move me faster. It just puts things into perspective. 1) something is very important to them 2) something is very important to me 3) what is most urgent or can something wait. 4) acknowledge their need, acknowledge yours and decide what's best for your mind and your load at the present moment. 5) don't shut them off, just communicate The importance of the things we are trying to get across and how we can help each other to complete a task rather than demanding or controlling a situation. 6) not everything is going to get done and that's ok. I can tell you how I organized those thoughts but it was because of her that my mind opened up again. She freed up space to keep on doing what I do best and that's manage a high stress life with an open/unblocked mind. My follow up with her was just as good. I'm excited to continue seeing her. I am also looking into going back to the Realization center every Sunday to mediatate and be one with god again. Which is a big part of my life that I miss. read more

How did I not find this place earlier!? I can't believe there is this incredible healing spa sanctuary right near me and I didn't know. I am not the biggest yelper in the world but when I find something I love I have to let people know and spread the word. First of all the prices are amazing, I am so used to people in LA charging such high prices I was shocked when I saw that they were so reasonable. Second, Kirsten is amazing and she is so kind and loving, I get the cranial/reiki healing and it is so incredibly relaxing and peaceful. I feel like I'm in another world when I'm there...most definitely not the Valley. She also does healing facials which I can't wait to try. Kirsten was absolutely amazing! I received a Reiki session with her and felt such a difference when I left. She identified the exact chakra that I was having trouble with and its connection to a different chakra. I went back to Angel City Healing for cranial sacral therapy / craniosacral therapy (I'm not sure how to spell it correctly) from Kirsten.
