They are a Stahl dealer and when my husband wanted a leaf blower and a weed eater for his birthday (insert joke about how old we are here) this was the top of my list to shop at! The entire staff knows so much more than some hourly employee at a big box retailer shop! They not only took their time and showed him how to use it and ways to keep it running longer- they made us feel good about the purchase. I was so happy wandering the isles and seeing so many useful tools and items for our home projects we bought some paint for our doors too! I really love this place and I could happily spend hours wandering the isles of this store looking at the wall of springs (yes! It's so cool!) and looking at all the amazing parts that are unique to this store! That being said, they carry a wide variety of items that I've needed in the past. The staff is friendly, but not pushy or bothersum. They have the best and cheapest bird seed around and they have a great area that fixes your chainsaws. This past year I was having a problem with moles and the regular traps weren't doing the job.....Charlie's had in a new trap that worked great! If I have the the time, this is the hardware store I use in Wentzville.

They sell food, furniture, and all of your home improvement needs. I love that they offer rebates but you have to ensure that you keep your receipts and submit them. They had moved delivery date out by a week the day before it was supposed to be delivered, so I cancelled it. Josh at the store was combative but agreed to cancel the order when I told him I relied on the info that was provided online. The charge immediately went thru on my card after I spoke to him. So he charged my card rather than letting pending charges fall off as he had agreed to.

This new hardware store is very similar in that it has a good variety of basic items that you need for your home close by without having to drive to a big box store. As a result, the prices here are a tad higher than you would pay in a big box store, but you do pay for convenience. I have visited the store twice and both times was greeted by a super helpful employee named Kevin who should receive employee of the month for his great customer service and friendly attitude. Today a cashier named Landon B., waited on me and he could learn a lot from Kevin. This store has a really nice variety of bird feeders that surprised me. I'll be back to buy more of then.

I've tried with this store multiple times and they always always mess up…read more I ordered a dishwasher and they told me it came with the panel. Surprise it didn't. I had to fight for a partial refund. They wanted me to pay them to make a panel when I proved the associate said several times that it came with the panel. Finally got that fixed then I set up the install. The person had my correct address but used my old address for the install. I called after they never showed up and was told the contract was void since the addresses were different. Called the store bawling to the manager because I just had a baby and this is beyond stressful assured me he'd fix it and I'd get a call asap from the installation manager / team to get a new date as soon as possible. Never received a call. I called 3 days later no one is answering the phone after multiple hours I finally get someone and ask for a manager I just keep getting put on hold. Installation team said the new address is invalid and they've been trying to reach the store and no success. The staff is so unprofessional and continues to make mistakes but yet zero accountability.
