Note that the distance between houses was less than two miles, and we only moved enough for a married couple, no kids: - We paid for and started the day with three movers. By lunch time, one of them left and we were stuck with two. When asked why the third left, he apparently broke our headboard and ditched the job. When calling the owner, no replacement mover was en route thus increasing the time and cost of our job. - The repairs for the damage to our headboard was an all-out shouting match with the owner, who wanted nothing to do with making things right. He got testy and in our face about 120 day lead times, and he was doing us a favor for fixing our stuff that his guys broke! You could not ask for worse customer service. The owner could care less about your move and your valuables, and he certainly will not fix anything without making you feel like you were the one responsible. It was even a chore to have his guys put together our busted bed so we could sleep for the night, even though we paid extra for that service as well. I would recommend looking elsewhere for someone that actually delivers what they promise from start to finish. It is a travesty these guys are still in business breaking things in Austin.

My main complaint is the owner. I left him several messages to address the issue, which he never returned. I finally had a friend call to request service. He called her back within 20 minutes. When I took the phone and told him who I was, he called me cunning and hung up. I filed a BBB complaint and he hasn't returned their calls either. I would never do business with these guys again. I could have had friends with no insurance move me if I wasn't concerned about my belongings being damaged.

The day of the move they said 6-7pm. Then they showed up at 8pm (which was our original time). We moved our entire day around to ensure things were packed by 5pm so we could make the long drive that night. Obviously didn't happen. My husband specifically told them to not park in front of our neighbors house or driveway. They parked in front of it anyways. When they came to shake my hand it was clear as day that they were high on drugs. Tony hopped in the drivers seat of our 26 foot moving truck and drove up and down our street going like 40mph almost side swiping both my car and my husbands. Trying to back it in our driveway. He got out and started screaming "shut the fuck up you fucking bitch. I've been doing this 25 years". Gwen yelled "oh shut up it's only been like 16". They got in a full blown fight in our driveway and down the street. Neither of them were professional or nice. I was honestly scared for our safety. This business needs to be stopped and they need to be fired. We asked them to leave our property immediately. My neighbors called the cops for them screaming out in the yards at 8pm! So embarrassing. In fact, when I needed to move a hot tub at my home, I knew the answer to "who will do this right?" I had waited six months for its delivery due to supply chain issues. I didn't know it was a "driveway delivery," hence, I needed someone to get it over the wrought iron fence and onto the concrete slab in my backyard. Joe offered a fair price to move it, and when he came out the first time and realized it was more complicated due to my walkway roof and garage, he got the right equipment and came back the next day without charging more. Bryan was super communicative about the day of move. Since we couldn't do a home visit to evaluate the load size he accommodate us by reviewing pictures and giving us an estimate. There were Some issues with truck pick up timing and he kept us in loop all along about his expected arrival time on the day of the move. They worked hard and packed all our items with care. On the unload side they took care of our new location and our stuff. They were very kind and super courteous. There was some stuff left in the car of one of the moving team and they called us later and returned it to our house. I would totally without hesitation call BRyan again if we were to move. They did not wrap any of my furniture with moving blankets. Just plastic wrap. Three of my pieces were damaged as a result. I called the office multiple times and at first they said that they would either replace the pieces or refer me to a furniture repair company. I received a quote from the furniture repair company they referred me to for $650. I sent the quote to the company and they said that they would only pay half. They dodge my calls, refused to respond to me, and I'm now left with furniture that is broken because of their carelessness and inexperience. Do not trust this company at all. They are the absolute worst! I am now planning to sue them in small claims court.

Michael and his team are incredible and extremely friendly. They showed up quickly, were respectful, and took the time to wrap/ secure all of my furniture. We were moving from Austin to San Antonio and I was surprised how quickly they go everything done. Einstein movers charged us almost double a few days before the move by adding an additional person. They were allowed to do that because they did not provide us with a contract. Michael quoted us right away, generated a contract, both of us signed, and his team was able to move our apartment completely on such short notice. We arrived to San Antonio and not a single thing was broken, they installed all of our furniture, and even took apart our door to make sure our refrigerator fit. Then they quickly put it back on, they really do it all. I am so glad we found them, do yourself a favor and hire Local Lifters for all of your moving needs!
