I moved into a unit I had reserved and put a deposit on a month in advance, only to discover immediately that it had not been cleaned even one bit, or properly maintained. Some of the issues I encountered included: walls and windows caked with dust, moldy food left on the balcony, dirty shoe prints, a broken disposal, broken ice machine, no hot water, non-functioning outlets, cabinets falling apart, and a permanently damaged bathroom mirror. On top of all that, MOLD. Its everywhere: in the dishwasher, sinks, bathtub, windows, and vents. Within the first night, ants and roaches had already invaded the unit. I did try to work with the leasing staff, but when I raised concerns and frustration I was told it was "my fault" for not submitting work orders. They insisted the apartment had been "professionally cleaned" and showed "no signs of mold." One maintenance worker even admitted no one had cleaned it, and when I used my own mold test it confirmed my suspicions. The so called "regional property manager" then gave me an ultimatum over a phone call where she dismissed all of my concerns: accept the apartment as is or move out, and decide within less than ONE DAY! At this point, I have given up on communication with Weinstein Properties. The lack of compassion, denial of responsibility, and blatant disrespect has been overwhelming. I am now pursuing legal action to hold them accountable. Do not move here unless you like negligent landlords, mold, and lots of bugs.

Second, I lived at Raleigh House for 18 months from 2019-end of 2020 before purchasing a home. I had a decent experience there so when I sold my home in 2023, I decided to lease here again. First, the dumpsters remain an eye sore. They are constantly overflowing with trash from everyone in the area because this isn't a gated community. The pool area used to be pristine but under my second stint here, it remained dirty with torn chairs always covered in bird feces. When I moved out the first time, I was charged for a few minor things which I took full ownership of and paid with no issue. Fast forward to my recent move in March 2025, I am being accused of and charged $1,300 for carpet replacement because of urine stains that do not belong to my documented pet. My pet is fully trained and was walked on a schedule and I also worked from home. The documentation has lots of discrepancies and they will not provide full documentation of the prior tenant move out condition. They also did not even attempt to clean the carpet first. Their documentstion also shows pristine carpet in picturs but then close up pictures of pet urine that can't be deciphered if it was in fact my unit or random pictures. I have disputed their documentation several times and they refuse to collaborate to resolve the issue. I will unfortunately have to take further action. I do not recommend living here especially in carpeted units. It appears they replace carpet after every move and pass the cost on to previous tenants. What you get in the way of lower rent and a bigger unit here, you will pay for later. In addition, if you have a documented pet, be aware they may try to hold you liable for pet damages, that may not even be related to your pet but because they show you have a pet on record, don't be surprised to get accused of pet damages not related to you. Their documentation is spotty. Just know, you will pay for carpet replacement whether warranted or not. Stay away from any apartment that has carpet. I had the same pet during my first stay here, and he was a puppy at that time. None of my minor move out costs in 2020 were pet related which the property does have on record. Just don't bother living here especially in their carpeted units (plenty of more modern apartments to choose from in this area have gone to hard floors). Don't make the same mistake I did despite my hesitation when I discovered I was getting a carpeted unit.

The walls have cracks in it because the foundation is poorly built and prepare to hear all your neighbors business because the walls are soooooooooo thin! I lived on the top floor and my neighbors felt as if they were above me. The pool is always dirty, it has glass and bugs in it so be careful when swimming. Like I said if you're stay for a short time this is those apartments but not to live here for two years or more . You will start to see it deteriorate before your eyes.

I have lived here for the past two weeks and just really wish I had read the reviews before choosing to move in here. I am posting this hoping this helps others that are looking for a place to live because the stress my husband and I have to deal with is unacceptable. We moved here 11/16. It took us all day to move our stuff. The first day I found a couple of small roaches. We went to buy Raid's spray which made the problem even worst. They started coming out of the sink, crawling on the walls, and crawling on our guest bedroom mattress. That night I was not able to to sleep afraid that one was going to crawl into my bed while I was asleep. The next morning I was getting ready to talk to the front office about our issue. My husband woke up screaming because one of the roaches was in our bed CRAWLING UP HIS ARM. At this point I was furious. I went to the front office on a Tuesday morning and expressed my frustration. Francis apologized and told us pest control would come the next day. That night I did not stay there. I knew I was not going to be able to rest. Pest control came on Wednesday. Which helped. Most of the roaches we have found are now dead. A few ones are still alive. I also found 3 worms. I was told to keep my windows, patio door closed. Which I have. The only time I ever open a door is when I have to leave my apartment. Pest control came by for the second time and tried to advise us in how to deal with this situation. Basically we don't know if this is a roach infestation. I mentioned we are trying to get rid of them. I was told that "we aren't getting rid of these roaches soon" and that at best it will take at least 4-6 weeks to be able to get rid of them completely. That's if we are not dealing with a roach infestation. If I am still seeing them I can ask them to come back next week and ask them to do a clean-out, a more aggressive method of fumigation. Let me make this clear my husband and I did NOT bring these roaches with us. I know the office might try to blame this on us. So I want to be clear. The apartment should have been fumigated before we moved in or they should have offered a different apartment if this was an issue. I refuse to believe this was not noticed when they worked on the apartment, of which they had asked us to delay moving in for a week because they needed more time to finish the apartment. They were literary crawling on every wall and the sink. So for the next few weeks I am going to have to keep requesting for them to come back. The only one that has apologized and actually being helpful throughout this process is Francis. She put us on the pest control list again for this week. We have dealt with a lot of issues with the apartment. Some have being fix and some I will have to put an order for because we are finding more problems with the apartment as we continue to live here. I wouldn't recommend this place to rent.

So the bars actually come in handy. Apartment was not cleaned when I moved in, cobwebs, stains on the wall and whatever this is on the bedroom blinds. POOP EVERYWHERE! In the hallways, on the sidewalks, all kinds of debris in the hallways. Doors leading in and out of building & courtyard slam, be prepared of the walls vibrating. Busted down, out of date vehicles all over the place. And the best and newest thing... 4:30am fire alarms going off. While outside in the heat discussing with people who unfortunately have lived here longer than a year say this is a normal thing, happens at least 6-8 times a year. And they're LOUD alarms! I'm trying to think of one positive and the only thing I can think of is it's close to a lot of things. That one positive does not outweigh all the negatives. First thing. The build quality is horrible! I was told that there was concrete poured between each floor so that you wouldn't hear your neighbors above. That's not true at all. You hear EVERYTHING! Almost as though it's inside of your apartment. Walking. Water running. Arguing. You hear it all. I spoke with the leasing office on several occasions regarding this. Nothing changed! Secondly. I moved in June of 2024. I left for a 2 week vacation days after the move. Came back and there were rat droppings and holes in my moving bags. I put in a maintenance request and inside of the door that's in every unit, Bill found where the rats came in. There were rat droppings everywhere! I have never been more disgusted in my life! Never would I ever expect that from a property such as this one. It took several attempts but Bill fixed the issue and I had no more problems with it. Last thing. As the building began to get more occupied, there was an alarming smell of marijuana. I hosted an event for family and friends in the sun room and I was so embarrassed when my guest could only ask and wonder how does such an upscale apartment complex allow that? Prior to this gathering, I had not smelled marijuana in the building. Terribly embarrassing!
