I also experienced the challenge that COVID and the winter freezes had on our complex and believe the team handled them as best as they could! I didn't have any issues with noisy neighbors or loud dogs like other former residents speak of. **I should also point out that I do not work from home and did not experience anything that would impact my ability to work. Anytime fire alarms went off, we were warned or they went off quickly. (It did not happen often...maybe once every 4 months if that!) Sure, the trash areas in the garage fill up but the team seems to always clean it up the next morning! There are no sanitation issues. My only disappointment came from the parking garage, they are constantly damaged and it makes exiting a challenge at times. I loved the access and equipment in the gym! I used the Parcel Lockers and never had issues with any packages. Sometimes packages are left at the unit, which is not ideal, but I never had one walk away. All in all, it was a great experience and I would entourage individuals interested to check them out!

It gets jammed and won't shut so maintenance came and only made it worse by completely screwing in the hinges like a hack job, photos also included. We now have to pull and lock the door at the same time in order for it to catch on the lock. I'd rather fix these things myself if I'm going to end up with this paying over $2,800 a month?? Not to mention trash valet comes whenever they feel like it so all the residents trash is out basically from 4pm till 10pm at night. Making it smell all night of trash and look extremely gross with bags of trash all over the hallways. That's what we get to come home from work to. Stains all over the carpets, smells of must on certain floors, unfinished paint on the walls on floor 4, elevator button to do down from floor 4 also is broken and has been that way for months, reports constantly of packages being stolen, cars being broken into, boots on your car without explanation. This is not LUXURY. There's been centipede problems, mold issues, flea infestations, and management does not fix these issues other than sending an email addressing to the community they are aware and need our patience. lol. I cannot wait to leave this complex and never look back. I wish we never made the decision to live at the Lyle. Would have saved me a lot of money and frustration.

That may not seem like a big deal to most people, but Peloton is top of the line and not cheap, so it really speaks volumes about the property. The construction of the units is great, and noise from neighbors above, below, and around us has not been an issue as it can be with some newer units made of thin walls. The surrounding area is great and has all the amenities you could want without the feeling that you are in the middle of everything. The surrounding residential area is very safe and quiet. To follow up with that they water off for hours out of the day at least three times a month every other month another problem my water pressure wasn't working as to where I wasn't receiving hot water for at least two months or more wasn't really keeping track. Mind you when I put in these request to fix my apartment. I make sure I put do not enter my unit without my presence, but they do anyways and then say sorry afterwards but maintain entering. One maintenance guy entered while knocking didn't even give me a chance to get up to respond like just because I have a my apartment. Doesn't mean use it. After expressing health concerns and raising the alarm about the presence of mold, my concerns were completely dismissed. No one conducted a thorough check of the surrounding units despite the close proximity of the affected area. What's worse, management initially denied that there was any mold problem at all--only for a sign to be quietly posted acknowledging the issue... and then mysteriously removed shortly after. This reeks of a cover-up and shows a complete lack of transparency and concern for resident safety. Instead of taking proactive steps to protect residents and communicate clearly, management chose to ignore, deflect, and mislead. This is not only unprofessional, but dangerous. Residents deserve honesty, accountability, and a healthy living environment--none of which were provided in this situation. Management came in two weeks later and checked water and left a message there is no leak and never completed a test for mold spores in the home. Not safe to live in the building. Stay away.

We lived at Mansions at Sunset Ridge for 2 years and had a major pipe burst/flooding incident…read moreduring the freeze that affected our garage, stairs, and secondary bedroom. Maintenance and contractors were in and out repeatedly with wet muddy boots during repairs, and I proactively documented the resulting carpet issues with management in writing months before move-out specifically so we would not later be blamed for damage caused by the repairs and flooding. Despite that, after move-out we were charged over $800 for "75% carpet replacement" based on alleged "pet odor." The photos they later provided were primarily of the exact same stair and secondary bedroom/closet areas previously impacted by the flooding and contractor traffic I had already documented with management back in February. What frustrated me most was that management never meaningfully addressed those concerns at the time, but later used those same affected areas as justification for replacement charges. We also retained move-out video documentation of the apartment condition. I understand apartments need to handle legitimate damages fairly, but charging tenants for carpet replacement tied to areas previously affected by flooding and repair activity after those conditions were already reported to management in advance feels unreasonable and extremely disappointing. I would strongly encourage future tenants to: * document EVERYTHING in writing, * save move-in and move-out videos, * and immediately report any maintenance-related damage or flooding issues. (Not that they care since it's a scam they run. I saw reviews like this before I moved in but decided to risk it. Bad idea). I am including pictures of the closet and stairs they claim is damaged with per odor. Mind you this is the carpet that was damaged by the pipe busting and contractors tracking in mud yet it's somehow pet related?
