I just re-signed at LVL29?! How could I not? The first year staying here was a bliss... I am definitely looking forward to seeing with this upcoming year brings in 2023 in my new home..yes, I have elevated to a new level !!! The things I loved in the building the 1st year, are some of the same things I love this 2nd year: neighbors always waiving hello when we drive by each other in the parking garage, share an elevator and/or at one of our many events. Not only our neighbors, but the staff as well. I love all my friends in the office and really feel I'm right at home with the LVL family always looking out for me ensuring I have everything that I may need. Safety has always been a big thing for me and I rest better knowing I am in good hands. On top of everything else, the amenities are 5-star making sure you literally have everything you need to live the healthiest lifestyle such as Peloton Bikes, Lulu Lemon Mirrors, top notch trainers such as Tim McComsey and HIIT class on Wednesday just to name a few. I want to thank this beautiful community for putting a smile back on my face after one of the toughest moments in my life and having to uproot where I was living and finally making my new place feel better warm and like a home. #life-elevated #lvl29 #bigfan Kindly, Ranae

This review is to help others when making a serious decision on where to live. Do NOT sign here, this building is full of problems and every tenant that has been here for years is running for the hills. Ask someone that has been living there for a year what they think when you're on tour. Just 3 months into living here our apartment flooded due to another unit, there was so much water we were displaced for ONE week while they dried it out. They refused to replace the carpet, I dealt with health issues for months and begged them to test for mold. They refused to take my concerns seriously, Amanda at the front desk would say "mold is in the air, mold is everywhere" rather than take our concerns seriously. We moved out and they are charged us for damage to the carpet from the water damage even though we asked multiple times for NEW carpet due to mold and stains. Attached are pictures of the flood and their machines on the carpet. I have been in contact with my lawyer on all the health issues due to their negligence and audacity to charge me for the moldy carpet they left me with. It's about the principle, and so this does not happen to anyone else. I doubt based on Texas flood law they even disclosed the flood to the next tenants. The quality of tenants has gone down, you will smell weed in the hallways and your apartment will shake from parties daily. Our neighbor threw parties from midnight to 6am on the weekdays and they refused to do anything about it. You'll also spend the majority of your days waiting for the elevator, because they are ALWAYS down. Once you get into the elevator, good luck getting your fob to swipe correctly to get to your floor you will have to swipe multiple times and just enjoy the joy ride. Finally, their garage parking is a nightmare. People speeding and almost hitting each other as you'll see in other reviews. They may also tow your car even though they have your plates on file corresponding to your reserved spot. (I saw this happen to neighbors and you'll see it in the reviews)

Unfortunately, this building is in a great location and tons of amenities. However, the staff is unprofessional and they don't take care of the property nor enforce rules. Many cars stolen out of the garage, roaches on the grill. Broken hotub, concierge not wanting to do the bare minimum when they are in customer service. Definitely has potential but not run correctly. And no one takes responsibility..... when you pay a premium you expect more than this. Such a shame. You tell upper management your problems and then you become a target! LOL! Not saying every employee is bad just 99%. Plus there is mold and no drainage in the unit. We were sick everyday there. Do NOT move to LVL! To add to the living life elevated I got a severe dog bite in dog park and they where unable to get my attorney the necessary camera footage I requested see my wound below... this place is not a safe place nor worth the price tag. Great POTENTIAL without the ELEVATED lifestyle.

My leasing agent Jamie was super helpful and seasoned, but management shifted, and I didn't experience any issues then. It was not until I decided to not renew my lease, as I was missing my friends in Dallas. So I sent my 60+ days notice, and they conduct a preliminary walk through, which I thought was kind of odd as my previous building did not require such an early walkthrough. Not only did they not show up on the day they told me, they moved all my framed art work. My diplomas frame was ON THE FLOOR, while everything else was at a slight angle. I filed a complaint with the front desk, and they notified me that their staff was not supposed to do that (touch your belongings), and they should have arrived at the schedule time. However I have the slip saying when they actually conducted the walk through and the email confirming the scheduled time. Irresponsible and unaccountable. But this brings me to my next encounter. We had scheduled fire inspections, and on one of those days I left my AirPods charging on my nightstand. I come home to find that they are missing and no where in my apartment. I even try to track them on Find My iPhone, but they came up as offline. I sent an email to the leasing office, only to not get a response. So after work, one day later, I went in to the office to ask if anyone has seen my email. They have and suggested I show up the after during lunch to meet with the onsite manager, Stacy. Naturally, I show up and talk with her. She double checks my find my iPhone app, like I don't know how to use technology, and then tells me what happened on that day. She claims that she and the maintenance staff did the room checks together, but she never actually entered the room. Then, she says that my room was the messy room. I pressed her about that because that is just rude. She clarifies that there were boxes every where, because I was moving. However, I haven't started the moving process yet, so not only did she not do her research on who she was talking to, she has the audacity to tell me her staff didn't steal anything, as she can attest by standing outside the apartment. All in all, she suggest that no one could steal AirPods in the 2 min it takes to conduct the fire inspection, BS, and that I should file a police report. The main lesson here is that this building is fine if you can deal with extra noise, but never let these staffers into your room unattended. In fact, I would suggest getting a lockbox and an interior camera. However, for the $1,500 a month I pay in rent, security should honestly be included. Hence, my one star review. Live at Legacy/Metro West if you want a new building with walkability.

Our lock wasn't accepting our code day 1 and it was fixed within 24 hours by maintenance. PROS: - Location is great, just be prepared for how difficult Preston Rd is as a whole to navigate during busy hours - Lobby and community areas are always well maintained and clean as far as I've seen, especially the gym and mail room - Our apartment has had very few issues that require maintenance, and they've been quick to respond when we've needed them - Communication. Whenever repairs are happening to the building, there is severe weather, etc the office is very good about sending out emails explaining and giving warnings of what may happen (like water turning off potentially to fix a broken pipe) - Parking for residents is very secure. I feel completely safe leaving my car here (coming from a college town that got wheels stolen a lot) - Overall apartment quality is good. No complaints from us on anything they've provided, appliances, etc. CONS: - Parking garage is TIGHT. Within the first month here I scraped the side of my car trying to leave the garage. Gate requires a sharp turn to get to/from the entrance to the garage and those tunnels are very thin. Beware if you have a large car or truck. - Visitor parking can be very limited, even at weird times. There's a decent amount of it, but my partner and I have had to park our own cars down there ahead of time to reserve spaces for guests if we know they are coming. - Trash rooms get very dirty at the best of times. They're always very sticky and smell awful. Usually not an issue if you use the valet trash, but god do the trash rooms need a deep clean here. - There is a small walking path behind the place, but no real walkable food or anything else but a courthouse and a few drs offices (oh, and Capital One lol) We lived here in the end for 2 years. It has its issues as any apartment will, but none of it has been a dealbreaker for us.

1/10 -- Extremely Disappointing Leasing Experience at Windsor Preston…read more My wife and I were actively looking to move into a two-bedroom and spoke at length with Shane from the Windsor Preston leasing office on Monday. We discussed our specific needs, our budget, and what we were looking for in a home. Shane spent time finding an apartment that seemed like a great fit, and I made it very clear that we planned to make a decision within the next day. The following morning, I reached out with a few final questions before submitting our application. My call went to voicemail. I tried calling again later in the afternoon and once again reached voicemail. I left two voicemails expressing that we were ready to move forward -- and we still have not received any follow-up at all. For a leasing office to completely drop the ball on a prospective resident who has clearly stated they intend to apply is a major red flag. If they can't manage basic communication during the leasing process, imagine how poorly maintenance requests, trash pickup, package concerns, or resident issues would be handled once you actually live there. We also discovered multiple recent car break-ins in their parking garage, which was one of the concerns we were hoping to address before applying -- but never even got the chance because no one bothered to call back. Overall, this was a 1/10 experience, and I strongly recommend steering clear of this community and whoever is currently managing it. There are far better options in the area with leasing teams who actually value prospective residents.

They provide a full kitchen (full sized fridge, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, utensils, glasses, wine glasses, dinnerware, cutlery, trash bags, rolls of paper towels) full nice bedroom with storage, full bathroom with some storage, also a full washer and dryer in each unit! Dining table, couch, chair, rugs, art, lamps. Very comfortable! Pool! Computer to use and a great complimentary self serve coffee bar! With a 3 night stay they off you free grocery delivery (you are issued credits you apply to groceries from Albertsons through their website) it was very convenient as it came the very next morning! We are very easygoing and understand that others that may be staying can be very disrespectful no mater where you are. It's easy to overlook those kind of jerks when you have a place like this to come home to and everyone that works there is phenomenal!! We terminated our lease early by agreement due to severe cockroach infestations and chemical exposure that made our home uninhabitable and hospitalized our dog. Upon move‑out, I received a final account statement from our previous property manager showing $176.12 owed. Months later, the new manager, Precious, fabricated a revised statement adding over $1,700 in false "insufficient notice" fees and sent it to collections, damaging my credit. I have both statements in writing and proof of the agreement. Despite providing this to management, they refused to correct the error. The following day, I saw it myself running around the apartment. When maintenance came, they claimed they "couldn't find anything," trying to make it seem like the apartment was in perfect condition. I eventually caught the mouse myself, which made it obvious the issue was real. It was frustrating to feel dismissed and treated like I was exaggerating. Before I ended my lease, maintenance said the apartment was in "great condition," even though the AC barely worked. Once my lease ended, the management revealed their true colors charging more than our security deposit and adding unnecessary fees. Security is also a serious concern. Despite claiming to have a secured entry system, homeless individuals frequently entered the complex. I even had strangers knocking on my door late at night, and I had to call the police once because it felt unsafe. Overall, I do not recommend living here. Don't be misled by the CityLine location the apartments have mice, large roaches, poor maintenance, and unsafe conditions. There are far better options nearby.

We were told we could have a gas grill at first which I agree the office leasing assistant misinformed us but then we were told we could have an electric grill. Even the current manager at that time had one. We received a lease violation for using ours without any correspondence from the office which is a big issue with the current management group. We were told we could not use a electric grill because the City Fire Marshall said it was not permitted. I called the City office and was told that he did not say that and as long as it was 10ft from garage you would use it in the city. Now we are told that it is a Cortland thing...Ok fine...we use the grills around the pool areas that may or may not be locked or may or may not be out of propane. Again lack of communication from office. We have lived her for going on almost 4 and half years. We enjoy the outdoors so we hang out in our garage and watch football, play darts etc...and sometimes have friends over. We just recently received another lease violation staying that we cannot use our garage except for storing vehicles or storage. We did see that in our lease but no one has ever not let us do this. In fact I have always been able to use the garage for whatever we wanted. We are very respectful of our neighbors and have had the same ones for years with exception to one. They have even come over from time to time. We shut everything down or lower the volume at 10:00.... I feel uncomfortable with the situation we are being handed. I feel like we are being confined to the inside of our apartment. I have walked about and see flags handing from patios (that we were told we had to take ours down couple years back)...vehicles over fire lane that we were told you would be towed....even a pool table in a garage where that resident hangs out with friends. I feel like the rules do not apply to everyone. This is a non smoking community and if you walk around you see and smell cigarette smoke and marijuana... If the office would walk the community like I would if I was management they would see these things. In the summer, I cannot count how many times the restrooms have been locked at phase 2 pool. They should be open for the residents to use to keep the pools clean. The phase 1 pool in order to use that restroom you have to go through a coded door to the gym tracking water through there. We used to be able to use the outside door. I really did love living here and even referred people here. It was once a great place to live. I want to stay here but not sure I feel comfortable. I know that there has been a company that has acquired the property and if that is true would love to see what they can due to make the community great again. I want to feel like they care! One last thing----The maintenance team is TOP NOTCH!!!!!!! They are the best maintenance team I have ever had!! Very disappointed resident...
