Our daughter brought us here to try their bagels. She tried it about a year ago when they opened and raved about their bagels and cream cheeses. The bagels were good but they don't toast them. They have a big selection of cream cheeses with interesting sounding flavors. They have seating inside (5 at the counter and 2 - 2 seater tables) and outside (2 - 4 seater tables). If I lived here, I would order them and bring them home so I could toast them. I normally like my bagels double toasted. The coffee wasn't that great so I would pass on that. read more

If you're a bagel lover, you're going to want to add Jeff's bagel run to your list! They have a nice variety of bagels an also have a rotating daily flavor and a seasonal menu. I tried the daily special which was banana bread. The texture was wonderful but I wish there was a bit more banana flavor. The cinnamon sugar bagel was spot on! They had a cookie butter and espresso cream cheese for specials as well and they were good. The cream cheese spread perfectly on the bagels. I also enjoyed the coffee but preferred the honey pistachio latte (hot) over the cold brew. Service was great, everyone was helpful and things moved pretty fast as well even with a line. There is a small amount of seating but overall a wonderful place to stop In and grab some delicious bagels or sit and catch up with a friend. read more

As a bagel lover, these were a 10/10!!! So soft and chewy, not hard at all! I had the Asiago everything and my kids had the cinnamon sugar. And the cream cheeses - OMG!!! We had a cream cheese flight with cinnamon honey butter, strawberry, and onion/chive! I can't wait to try more flavors! The staff were all so friendly and patient as this was my first time coming here. The manager/owner even came out to personally check on our orders and talk to us about the restaurant. He recommend coming back first thing in the morning when the bagels are hot and fresh and I will definitely be doing that! My daughter and I also tried some of the iced coffees. We stopped by Jeff's on the way to a festival! We got the Jalapeño cheddar bagel with herb and onion cream cheese, and the cinnamon raisin bagel with brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese. We also got a cold brew and the banana bread cold brew. Both bagels were really good they were soft and chewy. At first I was put off that they don't toast them BUT I think the bagel not being toasted is the right choice. Both the cream cheeses were easy to put on the bagel. I wish they dressed it for you as it would be easier to eat on the go, but definitely not a requirement. The banana bread cold brew was also great. It wasn't too sweet and didn't have a super artificial banana taste to it. They staff was nice and our order came out fast! Overall a 5/5 will definitely come back when in the area. read more

One of the best bagel places I've tried in a long time. I was visiting from out of state for a work function and stopped by looking for a variety of bagels but didn't have much hope thinking I'd probably find a very picked over selection of semi stale or hard bagels but boy was I wrong! Not only did they have all their bagel flavors stocked, they had a huge variety of cream cheese spreads. I felt like a kid in a candy shop. The guy at the register asked if I had been in before and when I said no, he explained their bagels, how they're cooked, went over the flavors and spreads and was so knowledgeable & friendly! Services was impeccable. I ended up buying a couple bagels flavors to try, I got the Asagio Everything & a Poppy Seed bagel along with some plain cream cheese spread. I brought the bagels back to my hotel and tried both and they were fresh, warm and so tasty! I think the Asagio Everything bagels is one of the best flavors I've had in my life! My only regret is I didn't get more bagels to try and take back home with me. read more

I absolutely love this place. I know that some people might not like that they don't offer sandwiches or that they won't toast the bagels, but I think people leaving low reviews should calm down lol. I love that every bagel you get is extremely fresh and warm. I also love that they have so many different flavors of cream cheese and whipped butter. This place is simply just bagels and schmears, but they do it right. If youre looking for something sweet, I would recommend the cake batter or the cannoli cream cheese. My all time favorite is a salt bagel with veggie cream cheese and it can't be beat in my humble opinion. The coffee was okay but I'm not an avid drinker so I won't judge them too harshly on it. As long as you know what you're in for when you come to Jeff's, I think you're going to enjoy yourself. read more

Ordered ahead on the app half a dozen bagels, a banana coffee, and a couple cream cheeses. The food and coffee have all been excellent consistently- I've ordered delivery a few times before this. However, after arriving 10 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready, it wasn't started on. The restaurant was not busy at all and about 4 employees were standing around, looking at a meme on someone's phone. They then took their time putting the order together (1 person actually doing something and others still standing around) and handed it over. Had to go back inside because they didn't include the coffee. The quality is great, the service should be too. Especially for the price. read more

I really, really wanted this place to be my go to bagel shop but it's just got some issues which I can't ignore. I will say that they are better than others around the area. Went in mid morning and I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. I paid and was handed my order in a paper bag (so far, so good) but when I got to my car to unwrap and bite into my warm bagel and melty cream cheese wrapped and cut in half, I was shocked. There was a sliced bagel in the bag but it wasn't spread and cut in half. It was just a sliced bagel with a small container of cream cheese and a plastic knife there by its side. I was taken aback and a bit annoyed that I had to make my bagel but I still held out hope that it would be a yummy bite. It was not. It wasn't dense and chewy like bagels should be. Lots of seasoning but not the bagel I'm used to (yes I'm one of those Northerners sorry about that.) The cold cream cheese I managed to spread just sat there sadly on what I would call a roll with a hole. Why not make the bagel order for your customers? That might have made it slightly better and don't be stingy with the spread. So I continue on my search for a bagel shop that knows how to make and serve a legit bagel. read more

I have had bagels from here three times now. Once I ordered a large order and had it delivered at my place of work. The bagels were all separated by sweet vs savory which I appreciate. No one wants a blueberry bagel that tastes like onion and garlic. I've gone twice since and absolutely love the bagels. Could pass on the coffee as it's not my favorite. The bagels are sliced and boiled. When you get them there in the shop they're hot typically. They run out of flavors quickly and on weekends tend to be very busy. Today I ordered a cinnamon sugar and an Abby to go via the mobile app. When I got home it was two cinnamon sugars. The store was accommodating over the phone and gave me a refund for both bagels. Staff are always pleasant and accommodating when I'm there. I genuinely haven't had an issue. Will continue to get bagels from here! read more

When you tout "best bagels outside of NY" you better deliver. The pros: Convenience with the app you can order and have it ready for pick up. Location has good parking and easy in/out. Very cute and modern packaging for boxing and cute wooden utensils. The real deal: A dozen bagels is a dozen. Not a bakers dozen. The bagels are what I would consider maybe better than Einstein Bagel. They are dense, chewy, heavy. The flavor of the bagel is basically nothing. The topping are uneven. Some bagels have a lot, some barely have enough. The cream cheese is ok, it's not NY style. For the price, the quality and quantity are not it. There's better bagels shops here in Raleigh. Probably wouldn't go back unless they make some quality changes. If Jeff is listening, some big changes need to be made to compete with the other bagel shops here in town. They have a ton of different bagels and spreads! I tried the asiago and rosemary salt bagels. I wish the asiago had a little more cheese. I also got a plain bagel to put cookies and cream spread on. It was very good! The bagels could be chewier, but they were still good. I also got an iced peppermint mocha, which was just ok. I would go back to try more of the spreads and bagels. I got sesame bagel with chive and onion (vegan) cream cheese and it was SO good. Vegan cream cheese is so hard to get right, but they did it very well!!! All cream cheeses here are amazing. Visited for the first time as we were excited for another bagel option. While the variety of bagels and spreads were good, some other aspects were not ideal. For those expecting a "traditional" bagel shop this is a bit different. The biggest being that they dont add the spreads to the bagel. Having to add the cream cheese to our bagel in the car was frankly annoying. We had a considerable wait (which is expected on a weekend at a bagel shop) but when not adding the spreads, it was confusing on why such a wait. Not toasting bagels was disappointing as our preference is a toasted bagel but that is our personal choice. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and likely wont be back as other bagel shops check more boxes for our family. read more
