I have been a homeowner for all of four months. Three days ago around 11pm the ceiling above my kitchen, where the upstairs bathroom is located, began raining. Water was streaming from the light fixture, down the walls, and from the drywall itself. I was envisioning a huge bill and terse plumbers taking advantage of a new homeowner in crisis. When I spoke with my warranty company in the morning , they stated that the earliest a plumber could be dispatched was the next day, leaving me without water and power for another full day. We had a plumbing problem late on a Thursday night and I needed a plumber. We have moen faucets and the cartridge came apart and left the outer housing in the valve body. I didn't want to take the chance at damaging the valve so I filled in the "schedule an appointment" section on their website and clicked submit. Friday morning as soon they opened, the office called and discussed my plumbing problem. They were able to come out in Friday afternoon and take care of the problem. They assigned a 4 hour window which is typical for service calls, but they also said they would let us know 30-45 minutes before the plumber would arrive. About 45 minutes before the plumber arrived, the office sent us an email with the plumbers name, picture, and background. He arrived and introduced himself and we discussed the problem we were having with our upstairs shower. He also was able to service our instant hot water tank and provided a quote for two additional projects we were thinking of doing. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and it was done on time and was priced according to the quote he provided before he started the job. It was not the cheapest, but the service was a good value for the work that was performed. He arrived promptly within the four-hour window (2 PM to 6 PM) and was nothing but professional throughout the entire visit. When my sink was originally installed, the previous homeowner opted to use a handyman rather than a licensed plumber. Everything was leaking as the worker had neglected to even tighten the pvc piping to the sink. The problem got progressively worse as time went by, we had gotten the pvc to stop leaking, but then the disposal started to leak and by the time we noticed it was heavily corroded. THEN the hot water line started leaking out of the on and off dial and we knew we couldn't wait any longer so I contacted JD'S. We ended up being assigned Keno Sunderland and he was a pleasure. The disposal was so corroded that we needed to replace it and he was able to show me pricing options and we decided to go with him providing all the parts, it cost a bit more but it was worth it as he took care of everything rather than me having to go and pick out my own hardware for him to install. He was able to take care of everything in one day and did it in a timely and professional manner. Keno was absolutely wonderful, he did not talk down to me and displayed excellent knowledge of his craft. If I ever have another plumbing issue, I will be calling him first! read more

My water heater stopped working and I urgently needed to get it fixed. JD Precision Plumbing was able to fit me into their schedule with a same-day appointment. Before the technician showed up, I received an email telling me his name and providing a short bio, which I thought was a nice touch. Hunter showed up within the appointment window, quickly diagnosed the problem, and presented me with various options to resolve it. He took the time to explain how the problem developed, how different heater brands compare in regard to reliability, and how to maintain my heater to avoid future problems. After leaving to purchase the replacement heater, he returned with Gavin and Hayden who helped him complete the job. They got the installation done quickly, swept up afterwards, and asked me to take a look to see if everything was done to my satisfaction. Great professional services from our technicians Taylor and Jonathan. JD Precision e-mailed in the morning with a brief bio of Taylor, the technician that arrived at 8:20am (8-10am window). After a quick check of our leak issue inside our kitchen pantry, Taylor confirmed that there's a slow leak coming from the upstairs toilet. He was very professional, polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. He provided us quotes and best advice to rebuild our 12yr old toilet or to put in a new one (which will cost less). He and Jonathan worked carefully to resolve our leak issue. In addition, we ask for additional plumbing jobs that we needed to get resolved because of age/built-up/corrosion. Pricing was excellent- way less than I anticipated, and scheduling the work was super easy with the friendly office staff. I needed to replace 2 water heaters (15 years old). Received 3 company contacts on HomeAdvisor.com. JD Precision Plumbing Services had the the most reviews and were rated at 4.5. Ron arrived at 8 AM (within the quoted 8AM-10AM), I told him to give me a competitive bid as I would be shopping for two more bids (I already had a price in mind from Home Advisor research). He bid a price that I was expecting so I said let's do it. He went back to the shop, grabbed the water heaters and Sean and came back within the stated 1.5 hours. They were out by 1:30 PM (3.5 hours time). I now have two new water heaters and correctly routed plumbing (original heaters were installed in-series by new home contractor instead of in-parallel), Ron and Sean did an excellent job! Their customer service is unmatched. The scheduling is simple, you receive an email prior to your appointment with a picture and a short bio of the plumber that will be sent out. I mean who else does that!? On top of that, every plumber that they have sent out has been polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They take the time to explain exactly what is going on and your different options. The technician was here earlier than originally quoted window, he fixed the issue and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, provided a free inspection of the rest of the plumbing in the house and was very personable, friendly, professional, showed no crack and rock solid in his knowledge. Disaster! Water main broken, house emptying of all water, on a weekend! We called our regular plumber of 25 years and he said he might be able to fit us in... on TUESDAY. My next number... no answer! Next on the list, an unknown: JD Precision Plumbing Services; but they had great reviews! We called, they answered, and they were at our home VERY QUICKLY. They fixed the problem in an efficient, economical, most helpful way, all the while explaining and smiling and sweating in the blazing sun. We had a broken toilet flange in the master bedroom which caused some water damage to the walls. JD Plumbing (Ben) came out and replaced it then provided us with the name of water restoration company that came out to dry out the interior studs. Once all was dry and sheetrock replaced they sent Dalton out to reseat the toilet and install two toilet fill valves. We were very pleased with their level of professionalism and their quality of work. We're long time residents of the Woodlands and have used various plumbing companies in the past but have never been as impressed with the level of service as JD Plumbing offered us. We had a crack in our toilet tank and Benjamin Dawson with JD Precision Services gave us the option of repairing but we ended up replacing the 12 year old toilet. What a surprise to see someone who truly enjoys their job and is competent, sincere and genuinely cares about the job done for the customer. He is truly an asset to the company.
